Twilight sat at her desk, clearly having a block of some sort. She had plastic pieces scattered in front of her, all a variety of colors, along with paints and a sketch book with a figure that was humanoid on its pages.
"Uuuugh. I can't think of any way to fit this together, Spike. I think I hit a dead end with this." Sighs Twilight, adjusting her glasses in despair. Her dog Spike jumps into her lap, giving her a look of comfort.
"It's fine Twi. I'm sure you'll figure something out. Maybe some sleep and a day at school tomorrow will clear your head." He said encouragingly. Twilight chuckled, scratching behind his ear.
"You know, I'm glad you're able to talk. Sure Shining is still adjusting, but you seem to know just what to say." Twilight said as she smiled then yawned a bit. Twilight goes to her bed, taking off her glasses as she lays down and pulls her covers over her. Spike jumps up and curls on top of the blanket.
"Night Twilight." He says through a yawn.
"Night Spike." Replies Twilight, soon falling asleep afterwards.

Rainbow Dash's place... (Midnight)
A bus stops out in front of the house that was a colored a different variety of blue, with the roof being unique itself with an array of different colors. As it pulls away, a young man with silver hair, cyan colored skin like Rainbow Dash, and ocean blue eyes looks up, smiling gently as he carried a backpack and a large trunk.
"Welp, it's good to be back."
He walks up to the door, ringing the bell as he waits to be answered.
"I wonder what my cousin has been up to lately?"

The next day at Canterlot High...
Sunset, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy waited by the front of the school for Pinkie, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash. Twilight shows up a little bit when they got together, huffing.
"Sorry...(pant) I'm.....(pant) late...." She heaved. Sunset couldn't help but giggle.
"No worries Twilight. You're actually earlier than Pinkie and Rainbow." At the mention of this, Twilight looks surprised.
"Wait, Rainbow Dash isn't here yet? She's usually the first here isn't she?" Exclaimed the glasses wearing girl. Everyone then realized she was right.
"Ah wonder what could've happ'ned?" Said Applejack, clearly surprised since Rainbow Dash is usually the fastest at getting around. However, Pinkie Pie suddenly appeared from behind Twilight, laughing in glee as well as almost giving the poor girl a heart attack.
"Oh don't worry. She's showing her cousin around Canterlot!" Explained the poofy pink haired girl. The others then look at her surprised.
"Cousin!?" They all yelled.
Just as they were able to ask Pinkie more, Rainbow Dash rushes over.
"Hey girls! Sorry I'm late." She said not even breathing hard. Sunset looks at Dash, curious.
"So what happened with your cousin, Rainbow?"
Dash froze, slightly chuckling to herself.
"Just showed him around town a bit and then got him registered for school. He's a good guy, though strange as well." She exclaimed, scratching the back of her head. This made the girls more curious, but the warning bell went off.
"Well, we should get inside." Says Fluttershy, knowing Rainbow Dash already has 2 late passes. One more and she'd be in detention, which Fluttershy knew drove her crazy.
In the auditorium...
Principal Celestia had set up a surprise pep rally, requesting all students to attend. Many were curious, few pretty annoyed. One most annoyed by this was of course Trixie.
"Why does the great Trixie need to be here when she has a performance to perfect? Hasn't there been enough of my presence taken by these surprise pep rallies?" She stated, mostly talking about herself in second person as usual.
Before anyone else could start complaining, the principal in question steps up to the podium and clears her throat for attention.
"Thank you for coming. I have a few announcements, including about a new transfer student who happens to be related to our soccer team captain Rainbow Dash. First, let's welcome her cousin who came from his long time stay in Japan, Mr. Sky Heart." She gestures to a young man no older than the Mane 7. He came up to the podium and everyone could see him more clearly. Twilight was shocked to see his choice of apparel though. His shirt had in clear words "GUNPLA IS FREEDOM" emblazoned across it. His leather jacket was a dark blue, but on one sleeve was a red arrow head looking badge while the other had a sphere with wings of some sort.
"Hello everyone. My name is Sky Heart, and I am going to join this school until my graduation now. I am hoping we can all share our interests as well as become good friends." Said the young man, his voice a bit deep but kind. As he stepped back, Celestia took over again.
"Now, as for additional announcements. Sky has mentioned about an interesting hobby he's into that has a whole sport becoming a big hit in the east and being drawn worldwide. This sport is called Gunpla Battle."
At the mere mention of it, Twilight froze even more, shocked more so about this info. Celestia continued on.
"Apparently it's a unique online experience he has witnessed himself, using models based on the hit anime from Japan called Gundam. These model kits are known as GunPla, which is short for Gundam Plastic. There is a hobby store in the mall I heard opening up to sell these along with special devices to log into this online server. It's called....uh..." Sky steps forward again.
"Gundam Build Nexus, or GBN for short." He helped, making Celestia smile as well as sigh in relief.
"Thank you Sky. Anyway, if you have any questions on this hobby of Sky's, he can answer a few here." She steps back again as Sky now sighs, but steps forward. No one seemed to have any questions, although murmurs of him being a nerd and strange guy already could be heard. He was about to step off until one hand raised up.
"Yes, miss...." Sky said, happy someone seemed curious finally.
"Twilight is fine." Said the owner of the hand, making the whole auditorium fill with surprised gasps.
"I am wondering, how did you come to enjoy this hobby?" She fidgeted a bit, not comfortable to the sudden looks of shock aimed at her. Sky found the question unexpected, but smiled.
"Where do I begin. I guess it was when the anime finally made its place in the west with Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. After that, I became fascinated with all the different designs an MS came in. From the Super Deformed or SD for short, to the real types, it really blew my mind. I guess after seeing so many kitbashs and unique models I finally felt like building my own. In a way, it opened my doorway to creativity."
After his explanation, more students seemed curious. Even Rarity asked a bit. Then came the big questions. Applejack raised a hand.
"If this 'ere is an online thing, how are those o' us who don't have any tech suppose ta join?"
"That is actually a good question." Started Sky. "If you want to enjoy the worlds in GBN, you can simply go to a hobby store that has a commons area with online stations. There, you can log in easily. Just know you are required to sign in when you are using it and sign out when done." As her question was answered, the bell for lunch rang.
"Okay students, that is all we can get in now. I believe a GunPla Builders group will be opening soon due to this new information, so those interested in joining be on the lookout. Now, off to lunch with you." Exclaimed Principal Celestia. With that, Sky left the stage, but six girls watched him from afar, surprised except their one friend Rainbow Dash.
"He's an odd one, R.D." Applejack finally said.
"Yet he's intelligent and charming in a way." Rarity added.
"He seems kind enough to be friends with..." Stated Fluttershy.
"I'm already excited to see what he does in that digiworld!" Shouts Pinkie Pie excitedly.
"Well, he does seem cool. What do you think Twilight?" Asks Sunset. However, Twilight doesn't reply. She was still processing the info, muttering.
"Another person my age enjoys gunpla?" She whispered to herself. Unfortunately, Rainbow Dash heard it.
"Awww boy. Seems Twi has a second crush.~" she teased, making Twilight blush suddenly and glare at the cyan skinned girl. Dash simply smiles, looking the direction Sky went.
"I'm actually happy he has some crushes already. Riiight? AJ, Flutters, and Twi?~"
All three girls blush redder, looking away while Applejack pulled her hat down over her face.
