'Like gum under a school desk'...

What a weird sentence.
You'll understand it though,
if you ever felt,
all alone and forgotten.
While surrounded by "friends".

Same age as you,
in the same 'phase'.
But their minds are different,
like a neverending maze.

So, when you're ready to include me,
in your conversations, or plans.
Do tell me.
But until then-
I'll be writing poems,
with the gum,
under thr school desks again.
