Ellie was playing X-Box with Benji. They were having a great time, until George jumped on her bed.

"Come ooon, get off the X-Box now, our favourite show is on in 10 minutes!" George said. Ellie rolled her eyes and smiled to George.
"Alright. Benji, I gotta go, talk to you tomorrow!" She turned the X-Box off and lay back in her bed, petting George as they watched TV together.

The strange guinea pig and the teenage girl grew closer by the day.

On one specific Saturday, she was browsing through TikTok while George was playing with toilet roll on her desk.
"All these E-Girls on TikTok are so cool..." she sighed. "I wish I could be like that..."

George perked up.
"You can, just sell that dumb cage and go buy some fishnets, girl!" Ellie turned to him.
"Really?" After George nodded, she was convinced. She went on a shopping spree and bought herself a whole new edgy outfit. She even started posting TikToks herself!

She got a text from her best friend Benji that week. 'Wanna go out somewhere while lockdown is at a low tier?'.

She ghosted him. After all, she had better things to do, now! She had 10.4K fans to post for, and she had a talking guinea pig! She didn't have time for Benji. Plus, they talk online all the time. Ghosting one message won't hurt. And anyway, Benji had a cute Husky called Sky to keep him accompanied.

Ellie taught George how to play chess, and he won every time. They played chess, they played hide and seek, they even went ghost hunting around the house. They didn't find much, but it was fun. It was fun to scare Ellie's sister, Sarah, while she was asleep.

In short, the girl and the guinea pig spent all their time together, and became the best of friends.
