Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful state. It is lush green and pure. The atmosphere is really magical. Here in the valley of this magical state is a large army camp. Veeranshu Singhania serves as an army doctor there.

He was sitting idle today as almost all the soldiers were stationed at smaller camps at higher altitudes closer to the border. The nurses were sent at the camps so that they can do the necessary first aid there itself. At times, a lot of time gets wasted in bringing them to the main camp and this causes injuries that could be avoided if first aid was given on time. So, all alone in his little army hospital surrounded by large pine trees, Veeranshu Singhania was sipping his afternoon tea when he got a call.

V: Hello?

Person: Dr. Singhania. Its General Khan. There was an attack at east camp on the top. Luckily a soldier risked her well-being and saved the camp. V: No, actually the damage is quite less than what I initially thought. Your arm is sprained, not broken. The wound on your head wasn't the deep either. The reason your body gave up was because you fought for a long time. It gave up due to fatigue. A weeks rest and you should be fine.

B: Great!

She started to leave.

V: Hey there! Stop. I said a week's rest. Bed rest! Your leg is also sprained. Look here.

Veer bandaged her head and wrapped a bandage around her leg and hand.

B: Wow! I look like a battle soldier.

V: You are so silly!

Veer started to leave.

B: Where are you going?

V: Um- My work here is done.

B: But I will get super bored alone. Also, look at all these empty beds. It is creepy! Please stay with me.

V: Miss, you battled with those bad guys all alone and you are scared of five empty beds?

V: Sure, on one condition though.

B: What?

V: You call me Veeranshu or Veer. Doctor sounds too formal. I might stay here but only for a friend.

B: Haha...okay then, friends! But you call me Bani.

V: You have a deal!

Veer came back to the hospital room with a few things and two Tiffin boxes.

V: I got food.

B: Oh thank god, I was famished. I need to brush though.

V: Okay???

B: What okay? Help me to the washroom. I was waiting for you for so long.

Veer helped Bani up. His arms snaked around her waist. A spark ran through both of them but they ignored it. Veer bought Bani in the small washroom. He made her sit on a stool by the basin and left. She brushed and washed her face. She slowly limped to go pee but tripped.

B: Ouch!!!

Veer rushed in hearing her scream. He saw her on the floor.

V: What are you doing!! You'll damage your body by doing so.

B: I wanted to pee but I cannot stand on my own.

V: Bani, allow me to help you okay.

He took her on the toilet seat and left. She did her business and flushed.

V: Are you decent?

B: Yes (she said as she pulled up the lower)

Veer picked her up and bought her to the basin, she washed her hands and he took her to the bed. They ate their food in peace. Veer examined her legs again.

V: Don't put stress on them. You're lucky this time!

Bani nodded. Veer cleared up the space. He went to do a supplies check on the hospital and came back in an hour. When he came there; he saw Bani was pissed.

B: What took you do much time!? I was so bored!

V: Ma'am, just because you got a medical leave from duty doesn't mean others are useless.

B: But nobody is at this camp at the moment!!

V: So?

B: Anyways! Don't you get scared though? Being alone at a camp!

Veer said no as there are a few villagers living close by and two guards at the front and back gate of the camp. After a while, he came with a large towel, sponge and a large bowl of water.

V: Time for a bath ma'am.

B: WHAT!?

V: Sponge bath. Come on! Look at the dirt on you.

B: B-but there are no nurses here.

V: I know but, um..I will let you do it yourself.

B: (Takes a deep breath) It's okay, I trust you.
