Chapter Seven

Priscilla

Do you ever get that feeling when your parents are worried and still about to beat the crap out of you?

Even though they don't beat me..

Aren't they?

Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah, where I'm about to be skinned alive.

With this bumbling fool next to me, we're fucked.

"Don't you dare talk to my son like that!" Kevin's mother whom I assume snarls at my mom angrily.

For a sudden reason, our fathers joins in by grabbing our mothers; pulling them slightly away from each other.

"Let's talk about this as one group and have some tea-:"

"SHUT UP!" They responded with gritting teeth as my mom's eyes landed on mine.

Kevin gulps, ushering me away from the corrupted and worried parents of ours and we made a run for it.

"COME BACK!!" Our mothers chase after us as they take off their shoes, we bumped, pushed through other people to our way out. Stopping at Kevin's car and plopped in.

We shut the door and Kevin rummages in his pockets, searching the keys until he whistled awkwardly, glaring at me with a concern look.

"Well, where are the keys??" I swallowed with a pitiful stare.

He then ran through his hair, tapping the wheel uncomfortably and laughs sheepishly. "I-I kind of lost it..." he bites his lower lip.

Oh you gotta be kidding me.

"Then how did you open your car?!" I growled, shaking him crazily.

"I unlocked my car not long ago, but I dropped the keys some-:" we suddenly hear  the clinking keys of Kevin's and saw our mothers grinning like cats.

"Well, well, well; aren't these yours?" My mom gazes the keys, looking through the window at us with her deadly and venomous eyes.

The other side, the doors were open. My mom jumped in, holding me by the arms tightly.

"Don't you DARE move Priscilla Lorrester." I gulped with a lump in my throat

......

"So, was this all a joke?" Kevin's mom arch her brows with a mixed confused expression.

"Umm, it was bu-:" I covered Kevin's mouth, and shook my head.

"There was nothing wrong really, we were just going shopping until we went into the elevator and it suddenly stopped. We were trying to call you guys but there was no signal." I laughed awkwardly, stepping Kevin's foot as he jolts up and I grabbed him, forcing him to sit down.

I then felt something wet moving on my hands as I quickly let go of him, wiping his saliva on him roughly.

"Gross." I grumbled.

"That's what you get." He whispers into my ear and snickers.

"Your breath stinks ya idiot." I growled at him.

"Same well as you peanut." He shots back.

"Shut up!"

"No, YOU shut up!"

"Asshole."

"Stuck-up snob."

"Says the one who has that personality." I raise my voice louder.

"Oh come on now," He folds his arms.

"It's all YOUR  fault!" I shoved him, almost rolling my eyes and snarled at him.

Our mothers watch us arguing and stayed silent.

"I'm so offended!"  Kevin surrenders with a mockingly surprised gasp and shifts away from me.

"ENOUGH WITH THE BICKERING!?"His mom intensely shouts at us and we flinched,

"Anyways, we WERE shopping." Kevin winks at me, and smirks.

"Oh, really?" My mom responds.

Kevin and I looked at each other; and stayed as silent as mice.

"You're grounded." They responded in unison.

"What??" We gasped.

"Yep, you heard us." Our mothers shot back.

"Oh! And by the way: there's school for both of you." My mom gave a deadpanning glare, and we sighed heavily.

My father and his talked until they reached to us, and stood in the spaced gap as far as possible.

Geez, they really are scared of them..

it's best to stay away from them as soon as possible.

Stay single guys, that's the best solution.

"Hmm, what's your name?" His mother says with a light hearted grin.

"Lina, and you?"

"Jayla." They shook hands, turning to us.

Oh crapbaskets.

"After you freshen up, I'm taking you." His mother smirks.

"Can't I stay? I don't think I can go." Kevin asks with a huff.

Jayla gave a deadpanning stare, sighing and shook her head.

"Not today, we have work and Heidi sure needs your help on her project." She shots back seriously and licks her lips.

Her brown eyes, highlighted blonde color hair bounces as everyone walked out of the mall, to our cars and disappeared.

My mom and father talks quietly as the car glides down the road so smoothly.

I glance at the window regretting from earlier.

We reached home, I shut the door, my mom clicking her busy heels in the kitchen as I strut angrily upstairs.

"Priscilla! Hurry up and come down!" My mom shouts.

I stomped my way to the bathroom, and decided to take a shower.

Stayed in silent, the cold water rushing around my legs felt satisfying. I took a deep breath and let it all flow.

It's all my fault..the challenge..the bet.

I shook my head, ignoring the thoughts running throughout my mind.

After taking a shower, I stood infront of the mirror, brushing my teeth thoroughly and changed into my baggy sweatpants.

I rolled my hair into a messy bun, grabbing my materials and rushed downstairs to eat.

My mom sipping her tea, she arches a brow, looking at me.

I ate in silence, my father talking on the phone about his job.

"I'm busy quite lately, reschedule it for next week." He speaks in a serious tone.

He glares at me and ended the call, his bright blue eyes beamed.

"Aren't yo-:"

"Save it Jack, I'm picking her up for today." My mom stood up, walking to the sink and the clattering became louder.

My father went to her, snaking his arms around her.  "Lina, don't be angry. We hate seeing you like this, you're always cheerful and boasting with energy." I awkwardly coughed and stood nearby the door.

"Well not today, you knew how worried sick I was about her last night!" She hisses.

Okay enough with the mushy moment and let's go. I can't stay like this ya know?

My mom and I walked to the car, shutting it gently and left with a screech.

It was a moment of silence until my mom cleared her throat.

"Let's play a song from the radio, shall we?" My mom slightly shrugged.

I nod and turned on the radio, the soft hums and the beat increases.

My mom taps her fingers to the beat and turned her frown to a light smile. "'Cuz I can't get enough.." she hums to the beat, mumbling to the lyrics. The light pouring down at us; I felt the high speed of wind passing by me as I let my hand out and catch a relaxing sigh.

We reached to my school, I gave my dead phone to my mom and jumped off, walking slowly to the school.

She screeches away and I took a deep breath, opening the door and waltz in.

Everyone talks happily, chattering from right to left. I felt a hand; blocking my eyes and covered.

I slumped deeper, and slightly grinned. "Harry?"

"Nope,"

"Breck?" I laughed.

"Umm.. still nope."

The warm hands on my eyes felt weird, foreign.

He uncovered my eyes, as I turned around, it was Peter and Bryan.

"Surprise peanut!"

I rolled my eyes, walking away from them until Bryan got hold of my arm.

"Hey, don't walk away from us." He grins slyly.

I gave a simply dumb glare at them, blinking sarcastically and barely move a muscle.

"Did it went well?" Peter joins in, with the innocent gaze and his curly hair bounces lightly.

James walks to me, looks at the two and back at me dumbfounded. "Oh, hey peanut." He waved and I wave back. "So, how was your dinner with Kevin?" He asks.

I bite my lower lips and glares straight down.

"It was swell." I lie.

"Swell, like that word." Peter's eyes narrow and thin grinning like an idiot.

"Same." Bryan pulls me closer, snakes his arms around me and we began walking until we went outside, the long walk to the other large building.

"You look wasted." Peter pouts a pitiful sigh and rubs my back to me which felt satisfyingly relaxing.

I still hate them, because of their leader: Kevin. But not much as I hate him.

At least they have respect, on the other side; Kevin has a rude, childish attitude, and an annoying personality.

"Yeah, I do." I replied back.

"Did he do something to you?" James arched his brows.

I shook my head, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

"Can I skip algebra and stay here instead?" I said. I know this sounds unusual and not okay for me, but I need some sleep. Hell, I stayed up all night.

"Ya, we can stay with you." Peter and Bryan spoke in unison.

James slightly shrugs a yes and went in the indoor practice field.

Why would they practice in here but not outside?

Maybe is it because the weather is hot or something they hate about the empty field.

As James opens the door, Kevin was there, sleeping deeply.

His mouth open, drooling.

We glared at each other, and felt my eyelids getting heavy and blinked slowly.

"Boy, do I feel exhausted." I sat on a wheelie chair, slowly spinning and the three scan at each other with a confused expression mixed with suspicion.

"Okay, what the hell is going on?" James plops on the beanbag, his body sunken in.

"Nnnnothin'.." I yawned.

"Both of you are tired, did you guys did something last night?" Bryan smirks.

His muscular body arching forward, he leans at me and raises his brows.

"Quit lying peanut. I know both of you did something like... kissing or some the sort?" He whispers into my ear and I jolt up, surprisingly shocked.

"NO!" I shouted.

Kevin snores loudly, shifting and smacks his mouth quietly.

"Quit it.." he moans.

Bryan said, "Hmm.." he walks to Kevin's sleepy figure with his hair sprawl over his brows.

James and Peter took a step back, shaking me lightly.

"What?" I rub my eyes.

"Come with us." Peter hisses concerned; shifting his gaze at Bryan closer to Kevin's ear and back at me.

James yanks me, and we tiptoed away.

Bryan suddenly shouts, "KEVIN!! GET YOUR SLEEPY ASS UP!?!"

We then hear a high pitched squeal, and a splash of water.

Bryan stumbles out of the room, water spilt all over his head, wet and cold.

"Since when he had water?" Bryan gave a puzzled yet confused look.

Peter and James snickered as I stayed lazily still.

The door was suddenly kicked open, Kevin grumbling angrily and saw me.

"Why hello there again." He smirks.

I rolled my eyes and huffed.

"This idiot woke me up, he deserves a spanking." He suddenly chases at Bryan, all over the wide spaced field.

James clicks his tongue, patting my back, and walks towards the two.

Grabbing their shirts, and dragging them to the room.

Peter and I followed them, closing the door and plopped on the comfy seats.

"I just wanted him to be up and tell us what happened exactly?!" Bryan squints smugly.

Kevin gulps loudly, looking at me and back at Bryan.

James sat down, handing me a bag of chips and grins.

"This better be good." He mutters, munching his crumby chips.

I took a bite, and watched them arguing back and forth.

"OKAY OKAY?! I'll tell.." He surrenders his hands up, backing up and sat.

"We haven't had any dinner, nor anything." He glares at me.

"What do you mean by that?" Peter 'innocently' asks.

"We were stuck in the elevator for like the whole night."

I smacked my forehead, facing down on the desk.

James stayed silent, grinning and Bryan collapsed into laughter.

The cackling made me wanna punch his face, Peter snickering and James silently smiling like an idiot.

"Seriously?? I mean, like how long?"

Kevin deadpanning a stare, and said. "The whole night."

The rest cackled. Chuckling with stray tears cascading down.

I stood up, about to twist the door handle until Bryan yanks me back lightly. "Oh, no, no, no peanut, stay." His muscular upper torso breathes heavily, holding his laughter.

"She can go Bryan, don't be such a dick." Kevin grumbles.

"Well, not now, I want to know every single detail." He grins.

I swat his hand away from mine and fold my arms.

"We haven't done anything like that you perverted sicko." I rolled my eyes at him and clicked my tongue rudely.

"We sat in silence, waiting patiently and didn't know what to do.." Kevin mumbles.

"Oh.." Peter's narrowing eyes stayed like that for a good solid two minutes, rubbing his chin and perched up.

"Oh okay then," he slides down under his seat and takes out his phone, typing it crazily.

"What are you doing right now?" James peers down at his phone.

"Texting Lorrie." He smiles.

I bite my lower lip, sat closer to Peter.

"Who's Lorrie?" I grinned.

"His girlfriend." Bryan shift away from Kevin and ran through his hair.

"What? You've never told me you had a girl?" I tilt my head curiously and snatched his phone.

"H-Hey!"

"Wait, lemme see." I went through her profile pic, her brunette hair long and wavy, the satisfying color of dark chocolate brown eyes were simple: yet looking the streakiest and happy. Her soft, pink lips puckered up and winks devilishly.

"Wow, she looks like a model." I nod slight and shrugged, handing his phone back.

"I don't think she's really your girlfriend." I spoke loud with my lower lips grazing my teeth.

Bryan and James dropped their jaws dead; Kevin barely listening; and Peter clenching his fists.

"She is ya shortie brat." He shot back.

"And aren't you tired?" James asks.

I shook my head, and huffed. "No, because you guys ruined my nap timeline!" I shouted deadly at them as they jumped back.

Kevin snickering in silence and gave a sarcastic sudden deadpanning glare at us. "Not funny.." he stretched like a sleepy cat: awakening for its food.

"Then bring her, and prove to peanut she is your girlfriend." Bryan shifts his gaze at Kevin and back to me, grinning every so slyly.

"Okay." The two bumped fists, biting their lips and squinted.

......

The second bell rung as the students hurriedly rushing to their classes, Harry and I skipping like deers to our class.

We sat down, taking out our essentials when Mrs Olivia waltz in with a sassy hum.

"Goooooood Morning everyone!~" she sings with ringing of hums and struts her way to the desk.

Even for an old lady, she can sure sing.

Mrs Olivia hands us the work and stood near by the chalkboard and begins to write.

"Today, we're taking this the next level, you're going to draw, express your professional skills: by going to random people and interview them, and convince them to be your statue."

One student raises her hand, "what do you mean by that Mrs Olivia?"

"What I mean; you sketch what pose they do or act upon on like what's they're main job to do or what they passion on." She raises a brow and smiles so brightly.

"You mean like interviewing a random person?" Harry cocks his head forward.

"As what I said earlier, yes! Go out after school and have fun! Draw to your limits." She grins.

"Also, it's due by the end of October." She says clearly.

Harry pokes me gently, with his bright bluebell eyes and smiles ever so flustered.

"Wanna be my poser??" He grins.

"I'm not a stranger to you Harry!" I snickered.

He sighs, pouting like a child. "I'm not in the mood for drawing strangers without their permission."

"Well too bad." I ruffled his hair and grin stupidly.

Class was dimissed, Harry and I talking ever so loud until we reached at the cafeteria.

Wendy and Kara were eating their snacks, Breck going through his phone and wore something quite off.

The drama has gotten to him, what's next.. the choir??

"Hey Priscilla!!" Breck perches up, scuffing his way to me and held my hand, dragging to an open seat.

"WAIT!" I shouted, Breck grinning crazily as his Afro bobbles. Harry mumbles, And seated right by Wendy.

"Okay, like my costume?" He grins.

He looks like the crazy scientists who would probably do some insane shit.

"Before you say anything: isn't it "Glove-ly?" He takes out the rubber gloves, and smirks smugly.

"Oh, come on! That's so far the worst pun ya got Breck." Harry boasts loudly.

Breck sighs, suddenly gazing at me with a weird expression and continued drinking his cool beverage.

We talked about how our classes are about weird yet happy teachers until lunch finished. Having to finally breathe on my own, by myself. I walk to my final class and began to write our assignments.

I stared out the window, the trees swaying softly as the grass stayed green and bright, not like my attitude right now.

I'm tired, pissed about what happened this morning. Doesn't my mom understand why the idiot and I were trapped in the elevator? Or she despises him.

I knew she was cheery when she first met him, but not right now she's as cheery like before.

School ended for the day, Wendy and I walking out the enterance and saw my father waving happily but not as before. "See you tomorrow!" She gave me the tightest skull-crushing hug and skipped away.

My father's blue eyes became much darker and filled with least like enthusiasm. "So, how's.....today?" He cleared his throat, making the turn to the highway.

I lower the window and felt the forceful wind passing by my fingertips. "Hell." I shot back at him.

"I know you're mad about this—never mind. Just remember ask permission and never lie about where you're going." My father spoke loud and clear with his calming breaths.

I nodded, but partially lying at the same time.

"I have an art project to work on..recently."

He nods, and bites his inside cheek. "Is it big?"

"Yeah, I have to go around the place asking strangers if i can sketch their poses." I croaked, taking a deep breath.

His brows cocking, my father scanned at me with a confusing glare. "R-Really? Okay sure.." he mutters.

"Drop me off the mall."

"Why the mall? There was trouble this morning, why back again?"

"I know someone who works at the local ice cream place, I can ask him." I slumped a bit, staring at the cars halting to a stop infront of the lights.

"We're here." He spoke quietly.

I jumped off the car, walking inside to the huge mall again.

Stood at the elevator, I look at the notice of construction working.

"Idiots, they just place this paper right now? What kind of people would do that?" I grumble, scuffing the floor with my shoes and skipped away.

I finally arrived at the shop, Louis busy serving the customers with their cool creamy deserts.

His carmel skin shining under the fluorescent lights, bright black eyes all cheery and he suddenly scanned at me. The big white smile appearing from his soft lips.

"Hey Priscilla!"

I waved, trying to hold my bag and felt my knees already weak.

Goddamn he's de- 'handsome'

"Hi." I smiled crazily, and sat down at an available seat.

"So, why you're here? Oh! I know, you want to start your work immediately! Can you?" His hands intertwined on mine, not twisting but gently.

I swear that made my heart skipped a beat.

"I have a project—well, assignment.. to do and I might need your help."

"Okay! So, why you have an easel and a canvas?"

I swallowed thickly, comprehending of what I'm about to say.

I need you to be my— no...

Will you be my Poser??

Shit that's terrible.

"Hello?" He snaps his fingers calling me for his attention.

"Hello! I'D WANT YOU TO BE MY POSER-THINGY.." I shouted loudly. Few of the customers looking at me weirdly.

What in the world have I said....

Louis jolt up from me, licking his lips and awkwardly smiling.

His brows raised up, he clenched his jaw trying not to laugh.

"What was that?" He bursts into laughter, the satisfying sound of his chuckling made me blush uncontrollably.

"I-I'm sorry.." I stared straight down, since there's nothing else to say back.

"Um, I'm busy..how about tonight? At my house." He grins.

I nod, and sat in silence.

"I don't think abo-:"

"I'll take you there." His innocent eyes gleaming brightly.

"You sure? And take me back?" I cock a brow.

"Yeah, definitely." He shrugs.

"Okay." I fidgeted my fingers nervously, staring at him ever so quietly.

"At around six, I'm done. Won't you wait for me?"

I nod.

"Great, i'll Give you a free treat later."

God, do I need cleansing.

The dirtiness has taken over me and now I feel not very clean.

I need holy water.

Bless me lord.

Forgive my sins.

......

I drifted off to sleep, mumbling incoherently until I felt a hand on my hair, ruffling it.

"Wake up princess." He whispers into my ear and I shivered lightly.

"PRINCESS??" I jolt up, brushing the dust from my shirt.

Louis grins and slightly shurgs. "I'm done." He said.

"Well, what time is it?"

"6:57, anyways. That's not bad, isn't it?" He hums to a tune, holding my essentials as we left from the mall, to his nice looking car.

"Nice one." I whistled.

"It's  a Toyota RAV4 the newest one." He scratches the back of his neck, looking at me with his soft soothing black eyes.

"Let's, go. Trust me, I have a lot of posing style for ya."

"What kind?"

He stops, holding the door as still, smiling fully. "You'll see."
