Guilt, what is guilt?
Guilt is a termite, that eats you up, and within, and leaves nothing but just an empty soul and body, deprived of any other emotion.
Guilt, kills you within, and kills you everyday, it never lets you sleep in peace, eat in peace, it just keep bringing back the emotions, and being doomed with emotions, you get nothing but just pain.
You can't run away with guilt, it will stop you in a midway, it will ask you questions, you've no answers for, it will blame you, and you will feel like a criminal, and criminals doesn't have the freedom to roam freely, do they? Criminal of past, guilt of past, it will cage you, and would never let you out, yes, you would be freely walking around the town, but your soul would still be caged, and no one has the key to that cage, but that guilt that's running in your veins, but how would that guilt go away?
Sitting in zoeys cafe, he was going through his phone, he looked up and took a look of this familiar cafe, he always came to this cafe to find warmth and peace, and this cafe did give him the warmth, but today the air was different, there was something new, oh, something so pleasing.
Marta came forward to take his order, that old lady smiled at him, the regular customer from past 2 years, and like always he didn't smile at her, but she was used to his coldness, but deep down she knew he had a heart of gold.
He gave her his usual order and went back to scrolling the phone.
"Marta, Marta, do you know what is happening ?" He heard a chirpy voice, the kind of that immediately sent warmth to his body, but as usual not bothering, kept his eyes on phone.
"My dear, if you won't tell, how would I know?" Marta said in her sweet voice laced with just love.
"Oh, my dear Marta, I'll tell what's happening. ITS SNOWING OUTSIDE." He internally cringed at her loud voice, what was so new about snow, it always snow here.
Marta chuckled as she said, "You'll get used to it. It always snow here."
"REALLY?" He so wanted to shut this girl's mouth, who had the audacity to scream in the middle of cafe.
"It never really snowed in Texas, but huh NEW YORK I LOVE YOU."
The nerve of this girl! All he wanted was just sometime in peace, but no this world was against his peace.
Slamming the money on table, he walked out in furry. She turned and saw the mysterious man going out, she could only see his back, clad in black hoodie, black jeans, despite of the cold he was just in a piece of cloth.
The food still untouched.

Stepping into his house, he breathed in the air of guilt. When he's left alone by himself, the demons of guilt appears and then he dives into guilt and dives until he can't breathe, and then again the same demons pulls him out and let him breathe, and never lets him die.
Are you alone?
But why are you alone? Think, why are you alone?
Because you deserves to be alone.
Are you guilted? Guilted of what you've done? Do you even deserve to be alive?
Shame, shame, shame, you're still alive.
Look around, c'mon look around, see you've no one. You're alone, all alone. And you're the sole reason of it.
You took away someone's hope, someone's world.
You should be guilty, you should be.
The anger boring, the voices still won't stop, his soul, his mind was his enemy.
He needed release, or else his anger would be a cause of someone else's misery too.
But what could he do? Nothing, absolutely nothing. For his satisfaction, he took his anger on non living things.
And in a blink of eye, the house was a mess, everything shattered just like his soul, everything destroyed just like his life.
Well, this is what guilt does to you.
