At the Jardin Gris Voodoo Shop, Detective Kinney and Vincent were talking amongst themselves about stopping the Ancestors, not knowing that Kol and Ophelia were just outside, listening into their conversation. "Hey, Vince...How are you gonna get that thing into the spirit world?" Kinney asked Vincent curiously.

"Simple," Kol suddenly spoke up, causing Vincent and Kinney to both turn at the sound of Kol's voice to see the male original and Ophelia entering, "He's got to die. "

"Who the hell are these people?" Detective Kinney asked concerned, even though he felt like he knew who Ophelia was.

___

After Detective Kinney left, it left Ophelia, Kol, and Vincent alone to talk amongst themselves, "You're not going to blow up the Ancestral well by yourself." Ophelia argued with Vincent in a stern tone.

"Ophelia, whatever help you and Kol are trying to offer me, I'm not interested," Vincent responded, trying to sound as polite as he could.

"We're coming with you," Kol argued, beginning to walk toward Vincent, "We're not asking for permission. Besides, Davina's the one who brought us here."

"Davina's gone, Kol!" Vincent shouted at Kol, clearly growing annoyed.

"Parts of Davina remain. Fragments of her soul bound to those she loved. I saw her, Vincent! So did Ophelia. She's reaching out to us, and we have to reach back. I need to see her," He paused, glancing over at Ophelia, "We both do."

Vincent sighed, nodding his head in agreement. He sighed once more as he grabbed his bag, walking past Kol and Ophelia toward the door.

Just then, he turned to them, wondering why they weren't following, "Come on!" He told the duo annoyed.

___

In one of the tombs at the Lafayette Cemetery, Ophelia, Kol, and Vincent were in the tomb, waiting for Josh to arrive.

Vincent was sitting on the floor of the tomb within a circle as Kol and Ophelia stood just outside it.

Josh soon arrived and Ophelia immediately knew he was getting ready to make a comment, "Well, there ain't no party like a cemetery party." He commented jokingly, causing Ophelia sigh.

"Did you bring it?" Kol asked, clearly not in the mood for conversation.

"Yeah," He responded, holding up a record, "Davina's favorite record," He paused, handing it over to Kol, who took it and looked at it for a moment before breaking it into pieces, "So how exactly does an Original vampire get to go to witch purgatory?"

Kol handed the pieces of the broken record to Vincent before beginning to respond, "I died a witch, I spent months there, trapped and tormented by the ancestors," He informed Josh, following Ophelia as she sat down beside Vincent inside the circle and used a knife to slice open his palm.

He handed Ophelia the knife, which she used to cut both of her palms instead of one as Josh sat down in the middle of Vincent and Ophelia. Ophelia handed Josh the knife and immediately used it to make a cut on his palm before handing it to Vincent, who did the same.

"Once we cross over, we're gonna be in enemy territory. We're gonna have to move quick to conjure Davina and get the bomb set," Vincent explained to the group, "Otherwise the Ancestors are gonna shut all three of us down."

"Hmm. Okay," Josh sarcastically replied, "Well maybe just make sure that doesn't happen."

Vincent took out a potion, causing Kol to narrow his eyes while staring at him, "Really? Hemlock?" He asked and Ophelia simply rolled her eyes.

"Old school. Respect," Josh remarked as Vincent took Josh's hand and laid back on the floor of the tomb.

Kol took Ophelia's hand while Ophelia took Josh's hand, the two of them lying back with their eyes closed. At the same time, Ophelia and Vincent began to chant in order to bring them to the witch purgatory, "Prezeve lyen lavi nou. Prezeve lyen lavi nou. Prezeve lyen lavi nou." They chanted in unison.

Kol gasped awake a  brief moment later, sitting up straight to find that he was in the Ancestral world.

Soon after, Ophelia and Vincent woke up as well, the three of them immediately getting to their feet.

Ophelia turned her head, looking down at Josh, who was sitting there, holding hands with Ophelia and Vincent while Ophelia's body that was in the real world held onto both his and Kol's.

Meanwhile, Vincent was setting up just outside the tomb in the dark. He used a piece of the broken record to channel Davina while Ophelia and Kol stood behind him watching and waiting, "Okay," He spoke up softly before beginning to chant, "Localiser nan motus qui souffre de patitur."

As he chanted, Ophelia suddenly heard an eerie whispering and indistinct chattering, causing Ophelia to suddenly turn her head to see Ophelia, "Ophelia," She cried out, causing Kol to turn as well, "Kol."

"Davina!" Kol exclaimed in shock as he rushed over to his dead girlfriend.

"It hurts!" Davina groaned in pain as she nearly collapsed before Kol rushed to her side to catch her, "I knew you both would hear me."

"We're here, D," Ophelia assured her daughter as she walked closer to Davina while Kol held her in his arms, "We're listening."

__

Inside the tomb, Vincent sat up the depot d'argente on a stand by a wall of skulls while Ophelia, Kol, and Davina stood nearby him.

"Here we go," Vincent informed the group.

"You've done enough Vincent. You should go," Davina insisted, sounding stronger than she did before.

"Davina, I can't just walk out," Vincent argued, shaking his head in disapproval.

"When this is over, the Ancestors will be cut off. It'll be a new beginning for the witches. They'll need someone to lead them." She explained to him, causing Vincent to share a confused glance with Ophelia.

"Davina, I'm not gonna let--" Vincent began to argue, but was quickly cut off by Davina.

"Vincent," She spoke up in a warning tone as she walked closer to him, "I'm not asking."

Ophelia's eyes widened in shock as Davina thrust Vincent out of the Ancestral world, leaving Kol and Ophelia alone with Davina.

__

Ophelia had gone to the corner of the large tomb, trying to give Davina and Kol their privacy to say goodbye. Once they were done, Davina sent Kol back, leaving Ophelia and Davina alone, "Davina..." Ophelia trailed off, walking closer to her daughters with tears welled in her eyes.

"Ophelia, can you do me a favor?" Davina asked her mother in a fearful tone as she walked closer to her, "Can you tell Josh not to be sad? Tell him that one really good friend is more than enough and that most people don't get that. And tell Marcel thanks for being my family. Tell him not to be mad at the Mikaelsons."

Ophelia nodded her head in response without hesitation, "I'll tell them both. All of it. I promise." She promised her, trying her hardest not to cry.

"I don't know how to say goodbye to you, Ophelia," Davina scoffed, tears streaming down her cheeks, "I thought telling Kol goodbye was hard, but standing in front of you, I have no clue what to say."

Ophelia nodded her head in understanding, "You know, that night I saved you from the harvest wasn't the first time I saw you, Davina," She informed her daughter, who seemed shocked by the news, "For the last three hundred years I've been I've walked this earth, I've always kept an eyes on the descendants of both sides of my family. The Labonairs from my mother's side, which included Hayley, and then the Claires from my father's side..." She trailed off, deciding to change the subject, "Anyways, enough of that. I just wanted to say, Davina. I am proud of the girl you grew up to be. When I first met you, you were pretty naive," She paused, causing them both to laugh, "But now, you are a powerful and strong young woman, one that I am so proud of."

Davina cried and Ophelia walked closer to her, holding the girl in her arms, "I'm sorry for what happened to you. I tried to stop it from happening. I tried to save you before it was too late, but--"

"It's okay, Ophelia." She assured her, the two of them crying, "It's okay, I'm okay with dying. At first, I was scared, but before I died, I was finally happy. I had the greatest mother I could ever ask for and an awesome boyfriend," She paused, causing them both to sadly laugh, "I love you, Ophelia. And I hope in your immortal life, you continue to be happy even with all the heartbreak you've endured because you deserve it more than anyone."

"I love you, too," Ophelia responded as Davina backed away from her, sending one last fragile smile before thrusting Ophelia out of the Ancestral World.

Ophelia gasped awake, crying, just as Kol seemed to be as he, Josh, and Vincent awaited him. Inside the tomb, the walls to shake, the floors rumbling and the foundation cracking and crumbling as well.

"Uh, guys..." He trailed off nervously, "Pretty sure that's our cue."

Without a second thought, Ophelia, Kol, and Josh quickly got to their feet and the three of them run from the tomb.

Kol stopped for a moment and turned back as the tomb crumbled, "Give 'em hell, Davina Claire." He whispered softly, a weak smile on his face.

As bursts of fire exploded from the tombs, Ophelia grabbed Kol by the arm to pull him back, "Go! Go!" Vincent shouted out, the group of four running as the tombs exploded.

___

In her bedroom, Ophelia was sitting on the edge of her bed. Her suitcase laid on the ground, her belongings no longer inside after deciding to stay in New Orleans.

Just then, Klaus entered her room, causing Ophelia to turn her head to see him looking emotion, his eyes welled with tears as he tried his hardest not to cry, "Klaus," She spoke up softly as Klaus finally began to cry, not being able to control himself, "What happened? Tell me, please."

"It's Marcel. Elijah..." He trailed off sadly, causing Ophelia to give him a concerned look, "He killed him."

Klaus exhaled sharply and Ophelia rushed forward to comfort him, crying as well.

Ophelia wrapped his arms around her, hugging him tightly, "He claimed Marcel was the man in the prophecy," Klaus informed Ophelia, whose widened in realization.

Marcel must have been the person in the prophecy. He was a friend to Rebekah. A foe to Elijah. And family to Klaus. How did no one realize it before?

"Marcel was a son to me," Klaus informed Ophelia sadly, causing her to sigh in defeat.

"Klaus, after everything that you have done, all the people that you've threatened, tortured, killed, all the pain that you have put him through, he has always forgiven you," Ophelia suddenly spoke up, causing Klaus to pull away from her and frown in concern, "You have to forgive him."

Klaus froze, wondering how after Elijah's involvements in Davina being unable to come back, Ophelia was able to stick up for him. It was something Ophelia was unable to do lately, something she hadn't done in months, "You sound like your old self," He commented and Ophelia shook her head.

"No, no, I don't," She argued, shaking her head, "I'm just speaking just truth. I'm no longer that person you want me to be."

"Who said I wanted you to be that person?" Klaus suddenly asked, tears welled in his eyes since Marcel's death.

Ophelia immediately turned away from Klaus, unable to make eye contact with him, "Stop, just stop," She demanded, her voice just above a whisper.

"Stop what?" Klaus asked, clearly confused as to what Ophelia was talking about.

Ophelia quickly turned to face Klaus once more. She stared at him for a long moment before beginning to walk away.

Klaus sighed in defeat as she walked away, wondering how he had said something wrong without realizing it for once.

"I hope I don't regret this," He suddenly heard Ophelia say, causing him to turn his head to see Ophelia to walking closer to him.

Ophelia rushed over to Klaus, who immediately cupped Ophelia's face with his hands, as the female tribrid pressed her lips against his.

They began to passionately kiss, Ophelia's arms wrapping around his neck.

After a moment, Ophelia pulled away, her eyes slowly opening as she looked up at Klaus, who stared intently into her eyes, "I know it's a really bad time, but I'm afraid I couldn't wait any longer." She confessed and Klaus remained silent, his lips parted.

Ophelia remained silent after her confession, waiting for Klaus to respond in any way, yet his expression remained blank.

Just then, Klaus pulled her closer once more, their lips touching once more, a kiss that was practically as a kiss of hunger.

It was as if a weight had been lifted from Ophelia's shoulders, almost the same exact feeling she had on the night of Christmas. But Ophelia knew from that time, whenever Klaus and Ophelia finally made a move with each other after so long of trying to keep away from each other, something bad ended up happening soon after that ruined everything. And that was exactly what was going to happen.

It was as though nature was doing everything within their power to keep the two powerful immortal beings apart, yet somehow, they always found their way back to each other.
