At St. James Infirmary, Kol was covered in Davina's blood, cradling her lifeless body, on the St. James Infirmary floor. He was clearly distraught after doing what he had done and had tears running down his face.

Just then, Ophelia ran in, looking just as distraught, "Davina? Davina!" She called out loudly, trying her hardest to choke back a sob.

Hearing Ophelia enter, Kol quickly laid Davina's body down and got ready to stand up. Ophelia gasped loudly, placing a hand over her mouth as she moved closer to Kol to see Davina's dead body on the ground, "What did you do?" She asked Kol, sounding both furious and distraught at the same time, which Ophelia seemed to have mastered lately after all the deaths she had encountered.

Ophelia roughly past Kol and rushed over to Davina, kneeling beside her daughter. She held Davina's lifeless body in her arms, trying her hardest to not lose it on Kol.

"Ophelia, I'm sorry, I didn't mean, I swear," Kol tried to tell Ophelia, who turned to face him with hatred in her eyes.

"That doesn't change what you did, Kol!" Ophelia practically screamed at Kol, crying as she did so. Since she was feeling so many emotions at that moment, Ophelia became consumed with it, which caused the bulbs to the lights in the bar to explode and shatter.

Kol quickly stepped forward and tried to grab Ophelia's arm, "Ophelia, you have to understand--" He tried to tell her, crying as he did so.

At vampire speed, Ophelia whipped herself around and used her magic to cause him to be thrown against a table, which immediately broke upon impact.

Kol quickly recovered from the hit, clearly not learning from his mistakes the first time and attempted to walk toward Ophelia once more. He couldn't just let Ophelia be mad at him. He refused to. He loved Davina. And after losing her, the last person left that he truly cared about was Ophelia. He couldn't live with himself if he lost both of them at once.

"The Ancestors had a hold of me. I-I was out of my head," Kol stammered as he spoke, clearly just as distraught as Ophelia was, "I never would've hurt her. I tried to make it stop. I made her dagger me. Nothing worked!"

Anger spread across Ophelia face as she moved closer to Kol, a look on her face that even scared Kol. It was one he had never seen on her before. One that had no love, happiness, or any of the positive, heartwarming emotions she always felt.

The one she sported was filled with pure hatred and fury, but so much of it that Kol feared what Ophelia would do to him.

Ophelia attacked Kol using vampire speed. She pushed him with such force that Kol was thrown across the room. Ophelia sped at him once more, grabbing him by the shirt with one hand before punching him with the other.

Kol did nothing to fight back, feeling as though he was getting what he deserved after killing the love of his life.

Ophelia punched Kol so hard, that the male vampire yelled out in pain as he fell to the ground. The female tribrid panted for breath, staring down at Kol with the feeling inside of her that made her want to kill Kol for what he had done.

It took Kol a moment before he recovered from her hit. Not getting up from the floor just yet, Kol simply lifted his head up to look at Ophelia, "I will never forgive you for this!" She yelled at him, glaring at him with a look that told Kol that Ophelia truly hated him.

He had done a lot of things to Marcel and Ophelia when first meeting them that caused Marcel to hate him with a burning passion. Ophelia, on the other hand, refused to hate the boy. She saw the goodness in him and was the only one to stick up for him every time Klaus threatened to put a dagger in her heart.

But at that moment, it was as if that woman who cared for him so much vanished. This...This was someone else.

"I loved her!" Kol sobbed, falling back onto the ground ashamed, "I swear I did."

Just then, Marcel entered, clearly wanting to check up on Davina after the earthquake. He frowned when he saw Kol practically crawled up into a ball on the ground while Ophelia stood next to him, "What happened?" He asked in concern, only to turn his head to see Davina's dead body on the ground, "No, no, no. Davina!"

Marcel quickly rushed over to Davina's dead body, beginning to tear up at the sight of the girl. It took him a moment before he began to recover. He stopped crying, wiping the tears from his eyes before walking over to stand beside Ophelia, "Get up," He told Kol in a stern tone, causing Kol to slowly look up at him in confusion, "Get up. This is New Orleans. Witch spirits can be brought back from the dead, so that is exactly what we are going to do. We are going to bring her back!"

About an hour later, Vincent had arrived after being called by Marcel, The two men stood beside Kol and Ophelia, all of them standing next to Davina's body, discussing what they planned to do, "Okay, we got to get her consecrated right now. If we don't we can't even attempt to get her back."

"Are you crazy?" Ophelia asked Vincent in disbelief, "We can't consecrate her!"

"Why not?" Marcel questioned Ophelia as he turned to her, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"The Ancestors despise Davina," Kol spoke up, taking Ophelia's side, "If we consecrate her, she'll wake up in their domain, and they will destroy her."

"If we don't, we never see her again," Marcel argued in an angered tone, clearly holding as much hatred for Kol and Ophelia did.

Even as she stood beside Kol, Ophelia couldn't look the male vampire in the eye, which pained Kol almost as much as Davina dying because of him.

Vincent turned to face the group of three, clearly growing annoyed with their bickering, "Hey, that's enough. All right?" He complained to them, "We all want to help her, so we need to make sure that she's consecrated, but she's got to be safe so we're gonna pull her into a place where she's protected, then we can resurrect her," She paused, turning to Davina, "And that's gonna require a lot of energy, and my power's not what it used to be before I got shunned."

"I can do it," Ophelia offered, but Vincent was quick to argue.

"No, no, no," Vincent argued, shaking his head, "There is no way we can let you do that. The Ancestors will sense it. You're technically still a New Orleans Witch, which means they will sense you doing such a spell and stop you."

"All right, we need Freya then," Marcel suggested, causing Kol to scoff.

"You think my family's going to help?" He asked Marcel in disbelief, "Nik hates Davina. Freya will not defy him."

"This wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for your family," Ophelia snapped at Kol, which caused the group to turn to her in shock since she had never referred the Mikaelsons as not being her family before, which concerned Kol the most.

Ophelia turned to Vincent, "Prepare her body," She demanded before turning to Kol once more, "Come with me. You too, Marcel."

After arriving at the compound, the group of three immediately explained to Elijah what had happened, "This is a war," Elijah told his brother and Ophelia, "Please, understand, I despise the situation."

"No, that's the wrong answer!" Kol shouted at Elijah as he stepped toward him threateningly as if to start a fight, but Marcel was quick to place a hand on his chest to stop him.

"No, no, no, I know this is a war but I've lost a lot of friends, too. Today, I need your help." Marcel pleaded with Elijah, who didn't seem moved by it.

"Please, Elijah," Ophelia spoke up for the first time since arriving, causing Elijah to turn to see that the woman seemed to be on the verge of breaking down, "I beg you. Please, just help us."

Hearing the conversation, Klaus walked over to the group, "Then we shall," he spoke up, causing the ground to turn to him, "Come on, Kol. Let's get you cleaned up." he grabbed Kol by the shoulder, ready to leave him.

Klaus suddenly stopped, turning to see Ophelia just standing there, "Ophelia, come with me," He insisted and was shocked to see Ophelia stay in place instead of following, "Ophelia?"

"I'm not going anywhere with him unless it's necessary," Ophelia growled and it took Klaus a moment to realize that she was referring to Kol.

He turned back to Kol, who had a sad look when hearing the venom in Ophelia's tone as she spoke about him. Klaus sighed, grabbing Kol by the arm before leading him upstairs without another word said.

Meanwhile, Ophelia, Klaus, Elijah, Freya, and Kol were talking about the events of what was happening that day and what needed to be done where Davina was concerned, "I'll draw Davina's spirit to a circle. As long as she's there, the Ancestors won't be able to torment her," She explained to the group, "With luck that will buy you some time to find a way to resurrect her, but I'll need to channel an Original if I'm going to sustain the spell."

"Well, take me. Put me down for all I care, if it keeps her safe." Kol pleaded as he took a step toward Freya, causing Ophelia to scoff.

"No, you've been marked by the Ancestors' magic," She paused, turning to glance between her two other brothers, "So, Klaus, Elijah, rock, paper, scissors."

All of the candles on the table suddenly flared up, causing Ophelia to frown in concern, "Well, that can't be good." She spoke up quietly.

"My early warning system," Freya informed the group, "I think a New Orleans witch is trying to meddle with one of you."

"Lucien has the new Regent at his beck and call. It's me he's coming after." Klaus assumed, only to have the group turn their head to see Rebekah's portrait burst into flames.

"No," Freya responded quietly, her eyes wide in alarm, "He's going after Rebekah."

About an hour later, Kol took out a Hand of Glory, setting it on the table in front of him for Freya to use in her spell, "Freya. I need this to work," He paused, gesturing to himself and Ophelia, who stood across the room, "For both of our sakes."

"Don't worry, brother," Freya assured her brother in a calm tone, "Eleventh-hour spells happen to be my specialty. Tell Vincent to begin the consecration." She insisted before beginning to chant the spell, "Se que atrae us van el brun'en."

The Hand of Glory lit as Davina's soul started to be summoned within the ring of black sand, causing Ophelia's eyes to widen in shock, "Whatever it is you did, thank you." She cried and Marcel simply nodded his head in response while Ophelia remained silent.

Kol and Davina held up their hands as if to touch, but they couldn't, seeing as she was a ghost and only there because of the protective circle allowed her to be. Ophelia's eyes filled with tears at the sight of her, noticing the small cut on her forehead, which must have been just the start of what the Ancestors were planning to.

Meanwhile, Van was walking through the cemetery, looking at the watch on his wrist as Vincent approached him, "It's a nice piece you got. What are you, a murderer for hire now?" Vincent asked Van, clearly taunting him, "I know. I know. I'm not supposed to be in the cemetery. It's hard for me to stay away after what the Ancestors did to Davina. Why are they targeting her, Van?"

"She betrayed our community," Van responded and Vincent immediately became angered.

"No. This community betrayed itself. I mean, look at you," He argued, gesturing to Van, "You're a Regent of New Orleans, and you're doing spells for Lucien Castle? A vampire who's dead set on destroying this city. I bet your mama's real proud."

Van was quiet for a long moment, clearly affected by Vincent's words, "The Ancestors have a vision for a Mikaelson-free New Orleans. One without Ophelia Rose ruling as well. Lucien is a means to their ends, and they won't let anyone stand in their way," He explained to him, "They killed Davina for working with vampires. I bet you're next in line."

"Van, you have no clue what sort of trouble you're in, man," Vincent practically shouted at Van as he walked closer to him, "Tell me this, did the Ancestors lay out their plan for you, or are you in the dark, like everybody else?"

"What do you know?" Van questioned, showing no fear toward Vincent, "You've been shunned, Vincent. Your magic doesn't compare to mine anymore."

"Careful now, 'cause my magic is still plenty strong," He reminded Vincent, performing a quick hand gesture, which disabled Van long enough for Ophelia to vamp-sped in and slam his head into a tomb with Kol walking out of the shadows to join her, "Especially when coupled with head trauma."

Kol looked over Ophelia, who quickly glanced at him before avoiding eye contact with him once more.
