Later on, Ophelia and Davina sat at a booth, where both of them were drinking beer in brown bottles at Rousseau's.
Ophelia's eyes widened and she found herself looking both impressed and surprised at the fact that Davina was drinking, "So, you drink now, huh?" She asked Davina, an amused smile on her face.
Davina smiled and took yet another a sip of her beer without a care in the world, "Um, I guess getting shunned is a slippery slope," She paused, smiling at Ophelia, "I mean, some people tear people apart while others drink."
Ophelia playfully rolled her eyes, clearly figuring out that Davina was referring to the fact that Ophelia had been ripping the bodies of humans apart out of anger and guilt during her 'Slippery Slope'.
Not wanting to respond to the girl's comment, Ophelia nodded good-naturedly but was clearly still a little upset about the stunt the girl had pulled earlier.
Noticing the look on Ophelia's face, Davina gave her an apologetic look, "Ophelia, I'm sorry. I realize now that I didn't even give you much of a choice today..."
Before Davina could finish her sentence, Ophelia cut her off, "Much of a choice? You didn't give me any choice." She told Davina in an unamused tone.
After a moment, a smile formed on Ophelia's face, causing Davina to laugh in relief, "But thank you, Ophelia. You've always been there for me no matter what, and sometimes, I forget just how much that means," She paused, "We're not as close as we used to be, but whenever I need someone, you're there for me. Nobody does that for me, except you."
"Anytime," She paused, smiling sadly at the wedding ring on her finger, from her marriage to Jackson, "You know, I've lost a lot of people during my time as an immortal. Most of the time, it had been my fault. Knowing that, there were days in the three centuries I've been alive when I would stand in the middle of the French Quarter, thinking about just ending it right then and there. To give up. Each and every time I lost someone, I lost a part of my humanity, even when I wasn't part vampire. I felt as though I would never be happy again. And now that I realize it, there is no way of me dying. I'm immortal. And there's not a single way for me to die. It's kind of the reason I love being apart of the Mikaelson family. They're immortal as I am. And they'll probably be alive just as long as I will," Ophelia paused, causing Davina looked saddened and concerned by Ophelia's confession.
The female tribrid sighed before she continued, "If there was any way to bring Jackson back? I would. In a heartbeat. No matter what." She paused, sighing sadly once more, "And if there's even a slight chance for you to be with the man you love...I think you should do it. Even if it involves the Strix Coven."
Davina looked up at Ophelia in surprise but was clearly appreciative of her support, "But if they try to hurt you in any way..." She trailed off, causing Davina to look at her in concern when she saw the humanity leave Ophelia's expression, "I'll kill every last one of them. Starting with that bitch Aya."
Davina remained silent, knowing by the look on Ophelia's face that she was being entirely serious.

After leaving Rousseau's, Ophelia headed back to the compound where she found Klaus in his study, looking to be searching for something, "Hey, what's going on?" She asked, causing the group to turn to her.
Clearly angered that Ophelia had been M.I.A all day, Klaus quickly stood up and walked over to her, "Oh, look who finally decided to join us," He announced in a mocking tone before his face became cold, "Where have you been, Ophelia?"
"None of your business," Ophelia snapped at him with an attitude, "Now tell me what's going on?"
"Cami has gotten her hands on the last remaining white oak," Klaus informed Ophelia, whose eyes widened in alarm.
"Oh, my God," She quietly gasped, her eyes wide, "I should have been here."
"Yes, you should have," Klaus snapped at her coldly, "Now, where have you been this entire time? I have been searching this entire city for you while also keeping an eye on Cami, who seems to have gone mad."
Ophelia shrugged her shoulders without a care in the world, almost no emotion showed in her expression as she spoke to Klaus, "Took a trip to the ancestral plane with Davina and saw Kol while almost being killed by my psychotic father. As a matter of fact, he called me a whore for being with you for so long. But you know, that's the usual."
Klaus' eyes widened at Ophelia telling him about the fact that she had gone to the Ancestral Realm and even saw her father, "You've gone mad," He stated in disbelief, pointing a finger at her, "Do you remember the last time you tried that?"
"Yes, I remember. Vividly," Ophelia responded in an uncaring tone, "I'm not stupid."
"Yet, you still did it!" Klaus shouted at her, growing frustrated at how calm she was being about the whole ordeal, "For months, you've been putting yourself in harm's way. You've been tearing random humans limb from limb for sport. As if it's nothing. You got into Lucien's business and got yourself kidnapped. You tried to escape and then got kidnapped by Aurora. During that time, you got on her bad side and then got not just yourself killed, but also--" He began to say, but Ophelia, who knew what he was about to say, cut him off.
"I get it, Klaus!" She screamed at him, fury in her eyes, "Everything lately is my fault. I get it. There's no need to throw it in my face. You don't think I know that already? All of my bad choices have just added fuel to the enormous fire ruining all of us right now. But thank you for reminding me."
Ophelia turned away from Klaus, about to leave when Klaus quickly rushed forward, "Ophelia, wait--" He began to say, but was soon cut off as Ophelia whipped herself around and used her magic to throw him across the room, "Get away from me!" She screamed at him, glaring at the immortal hybrid once more before leaving.
After leaving the compound, Ophelia headed to her apartment that was right across the street. The same one she hadn't had the gut to go back to since Jackson's death.
Once entering Ophelia went into the cabinet and grabbed a bottle of bourbon. She quickly unscrewed the cap and downed what was left in seconds. Once doing so, she tossed it aside, the glass bottle falling onto the floor and smashing to pieces.
She took yet another from the cupboard before walking toward one of the small tables that were against the wall. Her eyes softened and filled with sadness for a split second as she spotted a picture of her and Jackson that was held in a black frame.
She picked it up, staring at it for a long moment with grief before anger suddenly took over her. Within seconds, Ophelia threw the picture, which smashed to pieces as it collided with the wall.
Ophelia screamed out in fury at the top of her lungs, her scream almost sounded like an inhuman roar. Somehow, Ophelia hasn't realized hat she had made the entire apartment shake with her magic as she screamed.
Her eyes set on her easel which had an unfinished painting of Jackson on it. She vamp-sped over to it, ripping the wood of the easel and the painting to pieces.
She growled in anger, beginning to tear apart every single painting that she was made herself.
So consumed with fury, Ophelia found herself smashing nearly every piece of furniture in the room, roaring out in anger as she did so.
"Ophelia." A voice suddenly spoke up, causing Ophelia to turn her head to see Klaus standing at the door, which had been left open by Ophelia.
"I thought I told you to get away from me." Ophelia snapped at Klaus, picking up her bottle of bourbon once more and taking a swig of it.
"I can't do that," Klaus argued, taking a step toward Ophelia, "Now, give me the bottle."
"No," Ophelia argued, taking yet another sip of the bottle as she glared at him.
"Ophelia, give me the bottle," Klaus demanded in a tone that would scare almost anyone, but Ophelia stood there, showing no fear toward him. She was the only one who was able to do such a thing.
"No!" Ophelia screamed at him, almost sounding like a child who was having a fit after getting in trouble.
Growing frustrated, Klaus sped over to Ophelia, roughly grabbing the arm she was using to hold the bottle, "Give me the bottle!" He shouted, knowing if he didn't take her liquor away, her magic would start to grow uncontrollably and no one would be able to stop her from blowing up the city with a single scream.
He knew what her magic was like when she was consumed in her emotions. He had seen it firsthand numerous times over the three centuries that he had known her.
He had seen her blow up a entire block of houses once just by screaming on the top of her lungs when her former husband fled with her children. At her Magic's full potential, Ophelia could do damage to the world that no one would be able to fix. Not everyone knew that though, however.
"No!" She screamed at him once more, ripping her arm out of his grip before telekinetically throwing him into a nearby table, which broke from the force.
Ophelia took one last swig of the bottle of bourbon before smashing it on the ground. Recovering from her hits, Klaus finally stood up, "I've seen you grieve like this before. When Davina died. Just let me be here for you," Klaus insisted in a pleading tone, "Before you do something you regret. You need me here with you right now."
"I don't need you!" Ophelia shouted at him angrily, "I don't need anyone! Now, get out. Last time I checked, you're not allowed here."
"Do you not understand that I'm not taking no for an answer?" Klaus questioned Ophelia as he rushed over to her, holding a sedative behind his back. Clearly, however, he didn't do a good job at it.
Before he could get far, Ophelia flicked her wrist and balled her hands tightly into a fist as she used a pain infliction spell on him.
He dropped to his knees, screaming in pain as he clutched his head. As he kept his eyes open, Klaus noticed how every single light flickered in the apartment while all of the furniture that wasn't broken already began to uncontrollably shake.
He looked out the window, only to see lights in the French Quarter and the lights he could see in his own home began to flicker as well.
"I can't be around you, Klaus. Not with the way I feel about you! Don't you understand that?" Ophelia shouted at Klaus, beginning to cry as she felt a bit of pain as her magic became uncontrollable, "This past day, all I've felt was rage and hatred. But that was to hide what I was really feeling, Guilt. Guilt because Jackson loved me more than anything, but our entire marriage, I was in love with you."
Finally, Ophelia lowered her hand, her inability to control her magic stopping. Klaus slowly looked up at Ophelia, his eyes wide at both her confession and the fact that she was able to stop her uncontrollable magic on her own for the first time in centuries, "After 1919 when you left New Orleans, Marcel hated that you left us. Me? I clung to the thought of you coming back. A few years passed and there was still no word from you. Instead of waiting for you, I tried to move on. I got with Marcel. But guess what?" She asked him as Klaus slowly rose to his feet, "The entire time all I could think about was you, just like when I was with Jackson. Decades passed and I tried to forget about you, but I couldn't. I would be laying in bed with Marcel at night, thinking of you. By the time you finally came back to New Orleans, it had been ninety years. Ninety! And the second I saw you, all the feelings I tried to keep hidden came rushing out, more than it already had been. You do something to me, Klaus, something that I hate to love. No matter how much I want to move on, the thought of you stops me from being truly happy with that person."
Ophelia stopped her long confession, she gave in to her emotions and began crying. Klaus dropped the syringe that held the sedative on the floor before rushing over to Ophelia, hugging her tightly as she sobbed in his arms.
In a way, at that moment, Klaus realized something he never did. For centuries, he had been the reason Ophelia became so broken. If they had never met that night on a full moon three hundred years before, Ophelia would have never become the broken woman she was now. She wouldn't have become as evil or monstrous as she was now.
She was the way she was because of him. She died more than three time because of him. She lost her children because of her love for him. She became a vampire because of him. She lost her entire family and was shunned from her coven because of him.
It was all his fault, but despite that, Klaus and Ophelia constantly felt drawn to each other. It should have been the worst thing for them in the end, but somehow, against their better judgement, they continued to pursue each other, not knowing what they'd be without each other.
What were Klaus and Ophelia without each other? Incomplete.
