Y/N's POV.

"Erin, wake up!" I said, shaking her body. "Wake up, idiot!"

Erin's eyes slowly fluttered, she sat up, and rubbed her eyes. She grabbed her glasses and smiled warmly.

"Good morning, Y/N~." She greeted and stretched her arms. "How was your sleep~?"

"Good." I said and stared st her. "My first time seeing you wear casual clothes."

She giggled. "Don't sweat it," and stood up. "I'll eventually change."

"O-Okay then."

It was silent.

"You need something~?" She asked gently.

"What – wait– No!"

"Y/N?" Erin called out. "You ready?"

"Yeah," I agreed, facing to her. "Let's go!"

Apparently, Triss decided to partner us up , since the others have better things to do. But seriously. Why me and Erin?

"Yo~, you alive?" I heard a cheeky voice, a small, yet painful hit in my forehead.

"Wait – I'm alive!"

Erin giggled. "Come on, let's get going."

After for countless walks, me and Erin finally stopped for a quick rest. Erin handled me a bottle of water, and I gladly accepted it.

After I drank my water, I could feel somewhat a familiar presence coming towards us, or it's just my guts. I hesitated to look around, only seeing a familiar face.

"Y/N!"

"Yo, B/F/N!" I greeted. "How are ya?" I said, continued hugging B/F/N tightly, and let go.

"I'm fine," B/F/N said,narrowing their eyes to Erin. "Who's this?"

"She's Erin, she was the one who accompanied with me."

"Oh!" B/F/N said, leaning to my ear.

"Your crush?"

I snickered. "Hah! Crush, my foot!"

"What's wrong with your foot, Y/N?" Erin asked out of the blue. I got startled, while B/F/N just chuckled.

"Oh nothing, but can I criticize? You are pretty oblivious."

"Wait – oblivious?!" Erin said as she looked at me, covering her fave up with her hat. "Oblivious?"

"Ooh.~"

I gave B/F/N an icy glare, same goes for Erin who was slightly crouching. I just gave her an 'sorry' face. And she accepted it gladly.

"Anyways, Y/N. Let's go now?"

"Ah sure –"

"Hold up!" B/F/N interrupted. "Where are you going?"

"Uh, we can't tell you, sorry." I apologized, Erin just stood there, watching us.

"Come on, I'm your best friend. Let's go, Y/N." B/F/N said sharply.

"Y/N," Erin called. "I thought you were coming."

Holy crap... Why...

"Er. ."

I looked down to the ground, trying to choose my decision.

B/F/N – is my best friend. He/She always accompany whenever I feel miserable. B/F/N is like my light to the darkness.

In the meantime, Erin – she's full of tricks, and I love that. It makes her interesting, and she's smart. She fought me how to use my stuff well, and I'm grateful for that.

So who will I choose..?

"I have to do this by force, then." B/F/N articulated. And sighed. He/she grabbed my hand, and left Erin behind us.

Erin's POV.

Somehow, I just stared at them, walking away. I felt that feeling, again – where I couldn't find a solution, or I made someone else in danger, because of me.

I just lowered down my hat, and went back to camp.

As soon I arrived back at camp, everyone instantly ran up to me, and greeted me back.

But, this question.

"Hey, Erin? Where's Y/N?"

My wide smile, slowly faded to a sad face. I crossed my arms, while Triss patted my back.

"Y/N left me. Alone. "

"Dang, that's ... Uh, hard." Meg cursed, but I didn't care. She continued to rub my back, while Alex and Triss looked at me anxiously.

"Yeah, I'm fine~. ." I pretended, removing Meg's hand from my back. "Anyways, I gotta.. Do something."

"Okay, then. Do as you like." I heard Triss say, and I ran off.

I ran over to a quiet meadow, very quiet. Only the crickets were heard.

I couldn't hold it anymore.

"Damn you, Y/N! Just be grateful that I taught you all of that, and yet, you leave me here, shouting?! Don't underestimate me – ! "

"Yo. . chill. . "

I stopped shouting. I titled my head to the side, and saw an oddly looking familiar face.

"P-Pan."

They walked up, to me. I looked down to the grass, flushed down to embarrassment. They patted me on the shoulder, and let out a light chuckle.

"Y/N's damn oblivious." They complained, rolled their eyes. "I gotta admit you're cute. But deadly."

I blinked several times. "I'm innocent~.. I swear. . "

They chuckled, and let go of their hands off my shoulders. "I don't think so, anyways, what's the problem?"

I slowly looked down to the floor, again, making my glasses smudge a bit. The feeling – it makes my whole body ache.

"Erin?"

"I'm up," I looked back up again from Pan, who was constantly released a warm, encouraging smile.

Me and Pan decided to sit down, on the grass.

The atmosphere was still quiet –.

"What happened?" Pan interrogated, looked at me. My fixed gaze on the ground. I sighed sadly.

"Well, apparently, this person named B/F/N reunited with Y/N, made me quite. . invisible, you know?" I elaborated. "It's just good to see. . they are back together. ." I said, and slouched.

"Hey," Pan said, rubbing my back. "Its fine. Don't 'overthink' it. Tell me what's been on your mind."

Over thinking is normal for me.

"I. . somehow feel left out. I know, this is not a big deal. Don't, mind it~!"

Pan pinched my cheeks painful, twisted it a bit. I moan in pain, but it made Pan laugh.

"It is a big deal – you like Y/N. You miss him! That's why!"

Pan stopped pinching me, while I rubbed my right cheeks to relieve the pain.

After I rubbed my cheeks, I gave it a little thought.

I do miss Y/N.

"Fine. ." I said in defeat. "What will I do?"

"It's your choice, your a engineer, after all~."
