Later that day Sage found herself sitting under one of the trees in the big garden outside of the castle. In her lap she had a book, and she sat humming for herself while she was reading. The same song her and Loki had danced to so many years ago.

It awoke memories, about him and other things. She had learnt it from her mother, but who knew where she was now. Sage had neither her father nor her mother anymore. Her father was the one she had the longest, but he had died in a great battle not so many years ago.

She hummed on, and suddenly another voice joined her. It wasn't Loki this time, but one a little darker one that was great too, just not the one she really wanted to hear. She stopped humming and felt her cheeks turn slightly red. She didn't really like to sing infront of others, only Loki. Her head then turned upwards and looked at the man standing above her.

"Hello Fandral." She said and made him smile under his blonde mustache. He had blue eyes too, just like hers, but bluer. Deeper, like a sea. Filled with incredible beauty and strenght, but a storm at the same time. It reminded her how much she had always loved his eyes.

"Sage." He nodded as a greeting and moved a little from the place he was standing. He kept humming on the song, and then he held out his hand to her asking her for a dance. She gave a slight smile but shook her head. He was not the one she wanted to dance with.

She was just trying to get her mind off Loki for a little while, but she wasn't really interested in dancing with Fandral. Just the song she had been enough to put him back in her head, and she wished that Fandral could just leave her for once.

He pretended to be disappointed, with a really stupid sad face, but he couldn't help but smile. That made Sage laugh a little, and then Fandral's smile grew bigger. He ran a hand trough his hair, and then he sat down beside her.

"It's good to see you smile again, you've been a little off for a while." He said and she just shrugged. She didn't really want to talk to him right then. He seemed to understand that, and put his hand supportingly on her shoulder for a moment. That weird calm that Thor's touch had given her came to her once more, but lifted off at once he took it away.

Then he stood up and gave her another nod, before he disappeared of whistling on the same melody she had just been humming on. Sage sighed a little, she had to admit she did like Fandral, in a friend way of course. Even though he could tend to be slightly unserious and maybe a little too interested in ladies. He was still kind and funny, and she had known him for so long.

It was just that right then she needed a little while for herself. Sage was trying to figure out what she was supposed to do, in a way she wanted to go and talk to Loki right then. She just didn't know if she should do it, or dared to.

Again she sighed, but then she decided what she had to do. She closed her book and then arose to her feet. Then she started on her way back home. She hummed silently on their song while she was walking causing a small smile to stay on her lips.

When she got there, her house, she put her book back in the shelf it belonged in. Then she went over to her closet to find something more pleasant to wear, both for Loki's sake and for Odin's. She knew she had to go through him.

She got out a blue dress that was open at the back, far down her her back. It was long sleeved and pretty tight fitting, but the skirt was flowing outwards. Then she found a cape, that was an even darker blue than the dress, with nice silver buckles, so that it could be attached to her dress. It was far down at the back the cape as well, so that most of her back was bare.

When she had put it on, she took a silverbelt around her waist and put a silver knife in it's sheath. Then she put on a pair of flat shoes, and brushed her hair before putting it up in a bun at the top of her head.

When she was all dressed up she left her house and started on her way to the castle. She wandered through the garden while she felt the nervousness building up inside of her while she was walking. She was met by two guards that stood by the entrance to the caslte. The two that had been standing there the same morning when Loki had been brought there.

"I am Sage, daughter of Tyr. I'm here to speak to Odin." The guards looked at eachother, then they nodded in unison and pushed the doors inwards so she could be let through. She sucked in a breath between her teeth and then she walked into the great hall.

Odin and Frigga was sitting up there on their thrones. Odin the highest up, and then Frigga a little lower beside him. She was the first one to notice Sage, she smiled and stood up so that Sage had to curtsy for her.

"Now darling, what are you doing here?" She asked her with a smile, and caught Odin's attention as well. His gaze hit her and it was like being hit by a thousand volts. She tried to keep calm while curtsying to him as well.

"Allfather, I want to ask for your permission to see Loki." She told him while still being in her curtsy position. Her eyes was on him the whole time, so that her gaze didn't let go of his. Odin furrowed his eyebrows, but nodded.

"Accepted. Guard!" He commanded, and one came rushing from the room beside and halted into a salute for Odin. It didn't seem like he noticed Sage, who was standing only a meter or so away from him.

"Show this lady to Loki." He told the guard reffering to Sage. The guard turned around finally discovering her presence. He frowned slightly, but then straightened the look on his face and took a bow.

"Of course, allfather." He said and then walked over to Sage and reffered to her to follow him out. "Just follow me ma'am." He said, and so she did. They walked out of the throne room together, and towards the dungeons.

Sage knew that she was now entering Loki's territory, if he was locked up or not didn't matter. Nothing was safe there.
