Aquallis, also known as water raptors, are a species of intelligent amphibious creatures. They always resemble the shape of a small velociraptor , and their skin is mostly dark blues, greens, purples, and pinks. In rare occasions their skin can be white. they have glowing yellow-green "bulbs" above their head (like an angler fish), on the tips of their wings, and the ends of their 3 toes. They attack using their sharp teeth and by spitting acid. they also have claws behind their feet and on their hands which they also use to their defense. Being carnivores, having weapons like that also helps them eat- teeth for eating meat, claws for tearing it apart, and acid for breaking down chunks that are too large to swallow whole. They mostly eat fish, but have been known to come on to land to catch larger prey if there's a lack of good fish.

Aquallis are freshwater animals, and live in large ponds or lakes. Aquallis live together in packs of about 5-7 with no particular "leader". The females lay eggs, then let the males care for the eggs until they hatch, which takes about 12 weeks. When the babies hatch, they are called Aquallings and look like mini versions of the adults, but without fully developed claws and teeth, plus they're super adorable. It takes 6 weeks for the Aquallings to mature into adults and be ready to reproduce.

Despite being ferocious hunters, Aquallis make excellent pets. They are very loyal to their owners and will protect them at any cost. While mostly being used as hunting animals (like some breeds of dogs), they can also live a happy life with families, though a large pool is required so they don't dehydrate and die. While Aquallis are loving pets when first being raised in captivity, it's a bad idea to try to tame one in the wild. If you're not a professional then you could easily loose a hand. But no matter how skilled someone is, NEVER try to take the eggs. You will most likely get torn into pieces.
