Chanishla DID guess correctly, the song is called "Rain" and it's from the Once on This Island musical!

It holds a special place in my heart because the character that sings this song, the god of water AKA Agwe, was my first big role in theater.  Holy cow, eighth grade was so long ago (yes, I am pretty old, like I've said before I can legally drive ;0;)
