SEASON 1 IN 'THE GUARDIANS OF THE ZODIAC' SAGA

In this part, I'll be introducing you guys to the characters. I want to prepare you for what's to come.

Without any more rambling, let's get to it.

VIRGO. She has the power to unlock and purify. This power is one of a kind and cannot be copied. Since Virgo was born with this power, the people on the planet of the Guardians were scared of her and exiled her mother and baby Virgo to the planet of the humans. They were reborn as humans, thus forgetting their past lives. Virgo is an only child. She has a very beautiful side to her. She loves listening to people and learn about their stories, but her biggest flaw is always being overcritical of herself. No matter what, she always focuses on her flaws instead of embracing her good sides. She has the tattoo of a tiger on the back of her neck as this is the year she was born and is a sign that she's from the planet of the Guardians. This tattoo is only visible to those of that planet. She has a ring with the gemstone of blue sapphire. It contains her locked powers, but as a human, she has no idea. Her power can unlock the others' powers from their rings that restrict the Guardians from using them freely. She also can purify the powers of bad and negative black magic. Virgo is known as Alesia on the planet of humans.

LEO. Leo comes from a long line of war Generals and an aristocratic family. His sister was also a General who was killed during a battle. Leo is extremely loyal and a man of honor. But his biggest flaw is that he expects a lot from his comrades and always thinks about his needs before others. He's always loyal and devoted to his people but has a very selfish way of showing this. Leo has the power of strength. The ring that contains and restricts him from using his full power and transforms him into his true self is the ring of onyx with diamonds around them. He has the tattoo of an ox at the back of his neck, representing the year he was born. These tattoos also serve the Guardians as a sidekick if needed.

CANCER. Cancer is born in a royal family with minor powers, and thus, no one expected that the twins would become two of the Guardians. Cancer and her twin brother Pisces are extremely and uniquely talented. Cancer has a very happy and outgoing personality. Her only flaw is feeling everything at once and not controlling her emotions, leading her to many conflicts and misunderstandings. She has the power to heal and feel others' emotions and emotional states. The ring that restricts her from using her powers freely and becoming her true self is an emerald moonstone, with pearls and rubies around it. Cancer has the tattoo of the blue dragon, whom she summons to play with.

PISCES. Pisces is Cancer's twin brother. Unlike his twin sister, Pisces isn't as emotional. In fact, he has a ruthless honesty and always somehow gets away with making trouble and playing pranks on people. He has the power to summon anything he wants or to teleport people to where he is. The ring that restricts him from using his powers freely and becoming his true self is Ruby Bloodstone. His tattoo is the monkey who's summoned by Pisces himself to do his dirty work and pranks. Pisces is very loyal to his friends, but his devotion and loyalty are always with his sister, Cancer, which why they always stick together.

ARIES. Aries is the Prince of the Guardians. His best friend is Leo, and he thinks of Aquarius as his rival. Hot-headed Aries is also a womanizer. There hasn't been a woman who hasn't fallen for his charms, except Virgo. Aries loves fighting. He's one of the war generals alongside Leo, Sagittarius, and Libra. He has the power to manipulate fire and seduce his enemies, men, and women. The ring that restricts him from becoming his true self and using his powers freely has the gemstone of red jasper and topaz. His sidekick and tattoo are rabbits. Aries doesn't like any of his family members. In his opinion, they're narrow-minded and follow the rules. Aries doesn't like rules and limits, and this is why he wants to find Virgo to convince her to unlock his powers.

SAGITTARIUS. Sagittarius is known as the cursed child. He's from the centaur tribe. This tribe is half-horse and half-human, but Sagittarius was born half-horse with human arms and a horse head. As a child, Sagittarius was bullied severely, and if he weren't born as a Guardian, he would've probably been killed at birth. His family members stay away from him. Sagittarius has the tattoo of the dog, whom he summons. He's loyal and devoted to his only friend. The ring that restricts him from using his power freely and becoming his true self is turquoise with blue topaz around them. As Sagittarius grew up, he was summoned to the palace and became a war General alongside Aries, Leo, and Libra. He has the power to aim and never misses his target.

GEMINI. Gemini is a smart Guardian who believes knowledge and science is the answer to everything. His power is cloning and copying the powers of anyone he touches. Because of this power, he was bullied and called two-faced and came to hate it. His tattoo is the snake. He serves Aries and is loyal only to himself. Gemini's engagement to Capricorn was arranged. He never wanted to be tied down, and most of the time, he uses his clones to spend time with her. The ring that restricts him from using his power freely and becoming his true self is the pearl with white sapphires. He wants the best for his people but ends up being the ultimate traitor.

TAURUS. Taurus was born in a tribe of mercenaries. The only thing he was taught from a young age was to fight for his honor. He's not good with working with other people, but he'll do absolutely everything to reach his goal. His tattoo is the rat. Taurus is extremely patient and rarely shows his true emotions or anger. Taurus has the power of premonition, and this is why he is great at war strategy. The ring that restricts him from using his power freely and becoming his true self has the gemstones of a white diamond. Taurus is the tallest of all the Guardians and is best friends with Scorpio.

SCORPIO. Scorpio is the quietest Guardian of all. He always seems gloomy and melancholy but is actually very sweet, soft, and understanding. Having an abusive father and mother took its toll on little Scorpio as a Guardian. He had to hide his emotions. As he grew up, Scorpio was summoned to the palace to serve his people, alongside his best friend, Taurus, who was patient enough to hear him out and not judge. Scorpio has the power to turn anything into poison. His tattoo is the horse, and the ring that restricts him from using his power freely and becoming his true self is amethyst with topaz.

AQUARIUS. Aquarius is the second Prince. As the kingdom split, Aquarius and Aries were pinned against each other, and so were the loyalties of their people. Aquarius has a unique shine and always ends up getting the spotlight. He's intelligent and a great strategist. He's always one step ahead. Aquarius has the elemental powers, manipulating earth, fire, water, and wind however he wishes. His tattoo is the rooster. The ring that restricts him from using his power freely and becoming his true self has the gemstones of turquoise, amethyst, garnet, and jasper. Aquarius is very competitive and has many friends, unlike his older brother, Aries. This is why they consider each other rivals.

CAPRICORN. Capricorn was born in the house of servants. Her father served Gemini's father, and as a thank you, she was betrothed to Gemini at birth. Capricorn has the power of super sound. She can hear things from very far and also use her voice. Her tattoo is the pig. She's a very messy Guardian, very clumsy as well. The ring that restricts her from using her power freely and becoming her true self has the gemstone of Ruby with black onyx around them. Although clumsy and messy, Capricorn has a heart of gold, and she's devoted to her friends, family, and her people. She's very insecure about herself, and if it weren't for her power, Virgo would've never realized her true self.

LIBRA. Libra was born in an aristocratic family. She's a war General alongside Leo, Sagittarius, and Aries. Known as the iron lady, Libra is always balanced, follows laws, and doesn't think with her emotions. Her power is mind control, and she always goes head-to-head with Cancer, who's more of her opposite. Her tattoo is the goat. The ring that restricts her from using her power freely and becoming her true self is the gemstone of Opal. She's been best friends with Aries and Aquarius, and when the kingdom splits and the two brothers are pinned against each other, Libra finds herself stuck in the middle. Although balanced, Libra has genuine romantic feelings for Aries, but they're not returned.
