In Owls of Ga'Hoole, it is unknown if Kludd survived when he fell into a fire at the end of the movie. It is quite likely that he did, as in the books Kludd does a 'fake death' this way, somehow surviving getting bad burns and his mask melted off,  and not actually dying until the sixth book, The Burning.
