After the underwhelming battle against the villains, the attempted rescue mission ended in the four main "heroes" locked up in the same cell with the others.

"I'd say that was a good try, but it really wasn't." Kyoya said with a disappointed sigh. "But it's whatever. You've got two weak little girls on your team, so it was bound to fail."

"Hey, I'm not the damsel in distress here!" Mars snapped. "We came to save *your* asses cause you morons got caught first!"

"And yet, here you are." Sonic said with a scoff.

"We don't need your sarcasm or misogyny." Rainbow Dash said, angrily. "We just need to get out of here."

"But how do we do that?" Jake asked. "This cell is reinforced. Even with maximum strength, we can't break them."

"Yeah, you'd need to be the Hulk to break out of this place." Mars said.

"Have any ideas, Mr. Leader?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking at Shane.

"Um. . ." Shane thought for a second.

"Probably not." Rainbow Dash said. "He's still new. He's not gonna have anything in that head of his."

"Did you have any real thoughts when you came here to rescue us?" Kyoya asked. "Didn't seem like it, either."

"Stop being rude, you degenerate!" Mars said, angrily. "We did our best!"

"Then what was the strategy?" Kyoya asked.

"Guys, please. . . fighting is gonna get this nowhere." Melissa said. "If we're gonna get out of here, we need to work together."

"With them?" Sonic scoffed. "They can't even save themselves."

"No, she's right." Twilight said, seriously. "Master Wu sent them here to save us. So, he expects us all to return safely. And we can't do that, unless we all work together."

"What happened to Wu not wanting anymore team members?" Jake asked.

"He's a sucker." Kyoya said with a scoff. "He'll do anything we want as long as it's reasonable and within understanding."

"Then, we have a plan?" Sonic asked.

"That's gonna be harder to think of." Twilight said. "But let's just put our heads together and think."

The eight of them then thought about it for a second, before Shane finally thought of something.

"I've got it." Shane said.

"Huh?" Twilight said.

"Everyone, come close." Shane said, gesturing everyone to get closer to him. "I'll tell you my idea."

Later, Hayama walked back down to the dungeon to check on their  prisoners. But when he did, he came across an unbelievable sight.

"Hey, stop that right now!" Sonic said, angrily. "You have no right to be saying stuff like that to me!"

"Oh yeah?" Kyoya said with a smirk. "What are you gonna do about it, porcupine!"

"Oh, you wanna go?!" Sonic said. "Let's go!"

At that moment, Kyoya and Sonic began to fight with each other. Hayama took note of this and rushed up to the cell doors.

"Hey, what the hell is going on in here?" Hayama asked.

"Please help, Hayama!" Mars said, as she was on the floor. "These two. . . they won't stop arguing. And I think it will get out of hand unless it's dealt with."

"Damn it!" Hayama said angrily. "We have you chained up for a reason! We should've just put you all in separate cells."

Hayama then took the key and opened the cell door and went inside to break up the fight. But when he did, Jake and Melissa snuck up behind him and tackled him to the ground.

"What the. . . ?!" Hayama said angrily as he realized what was happening. "Anyone! I need-"

But he didn't get to call for backup, because Jake took his jacket and stuffed it in Hayama's mouth, keeping him quiet.

"That'll do it." Jake said with a smirk.

"Wow, you're actually pretty strong." Melissa said. "I'm surprised you were caught in the first place."

"Really?" Jake asked. "I mean. . . I do keep my training in check."

"Impressive." Melissa said with a smile.

"Is this an escape mission or a romantic comedy?" Kyoya scoffed. "Let's get the hell out of here."

"Right. . ." Jake said, blushing a bit.

Shane then grabbed the key from Hayama and used it to undo everyone's restraints and put them on Hayama instead, keeping him locked up in the cell.

"Let's blow this popsicle stand." Mars said.

All of them then went out of the dungeon and got up to the surface of the lair.

The villains all turned around in shock to see that they had escaped.

"Hey, what the heck?!" Toga cried out in surprise.

"How did you manage to escape?" Eggman asked.

"You idiots!" Adagio said angrily.

"That doesn't matter!" Shredder said. "Destroy them!"

They all nodded as they immediately went to attack the escapees.

"Too bad." Jake said as he threw a smoke bomb on the ground, obscuring the villains' vision.

"Hey!" Toga cried out.

Once the smoke cleared, the heroes had disappeared from their sights.

"Damn it!" Adagio said. "They got away!"

"Should we go after them?" Eggman asked.

"Just let them go." Shredder said. "They'll be back soon to take us down."

The villains all sighed as they didn't want to wait around, but they had to listen to their new master.

"Also, can someone go check on Hayama?" Shredder asked.
