Aquatic Telepathy: Kaio can communicate psychically with all forms of marine life, even conversing fully with them. His telepathy also allows him to force them to obey his commands. However, his greatest feat was burning Queen Ghidorah's spaceship and since no supernovanium was visible, it can be assumed that Kaio melted and vaporized the metal instead of blowing it up. It is worth noting that Kaio accomplished most of these feats using only his weakened strength and that he can create more powerful blasts of fire if he recovers to 100%.

Electrokinesis: Kaio has the ability to manipulate electricity and use it in combat. He appears to be able to channel electricity from any part of his body, allowing him to fire beams of electricity from his mouth. This is shown when he simultaneously read a library while listening to a song with a frequency that is said to cause all living things to lose focus. He also noticed that Godzilla was getting stronger, despite being the Titan Kaio least encountered.

Weather Manipulation: Kaio can summon storms, tsunamis, and various other natural disasters around the world, this ability can also be performed outside of Earth.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Kaio's body is capable of healing wounds and injuries at a much faster rate than a normal human. From multiple explosions, fire and heat, wounds from a supernova explosion, being shot by a bullet specifically designed to penetrate his skin, regardless of the wound, it seems to heal within seconds or minutes at most. He has also recovered from having half of his body burned off by King Ghidorah in his 9% power form, having his skull cracked by Space Godzilla's crystal in his 50% power restored form, and being blown to pieces by Destroya's oxygen destruction ray in his 60% power restored form. However, it is unknown how quickly he will heal at 100% power restored.

Pain Relief: Kaior is either completely immune to pain, or has developed a great tolerance to it, as he did not react when Godzilla used his 100 quadrillion degree heat ability, which left him with severe burns to his head and chest, or when Space Godzilla shot him through the chest. He also showed no discomfort when his skin was peeled off to allow the 05 virus to penetrate.

Longevity: Kaio has been active since before the big bang and the erasure of dimensions higher than the 6th dimension. He is older than Kaizer Ghidorah and it is unknown how old he is, however he shows no signs of age affecting his physical condition and he even appears to be stronger than when he worked with Mothra hundreds of millions of years ago.

Master Martial Artist: Kaio is a skilled melee fighter, highly trained in various forms of martial arts. According to Mothra, Kaio can destroy a muto nest or muto prime in under 10 minutes, he is a lethal fighter proficient in martial arts, having been trained by a mysterious master whose name we do not know to make him an invincible guardian of Mothra. He defeated Battra in their confrontation, placing his power level above that of the Kaiju of Kaizer Ghidorah's army. During his mission to kill a muto nest, he stealthily destroyed a large number of Muto. He later held his own against a majority of the ancient Kaiju that had been awakened by King Ghidorah and easily defeated the muto Queen in a fight, and would have likely defeated her if Mothra had not intervened.
