Magic...!!
A/N: Hello Friends... Some of you guys were confused by last chapter's ending...!! Why kong met a human Arthit ?? Or How this happened ??
So here are your answers...
As for How ??...... So right now Kong is in Coma, because of the accident. His body has been unable to overcome the effects of the impact.... But He is Arthit's soulmate.... A real soulmate. So his soul went back in time to find it's other half..... Arthit.
It's like a magical time travel, To bring the two soulmates together. It's like..... when magic happens there is no place for logics....
I don't have a perfect explanation how this happened, but It is a supernatural story so anything can happen here... Right !!
So please just go with the flow.
Arthit was changed in 1660, and Kong is in 1660 right now. Just a few months before Arthit's change.... Do you you guys remember, Arthit told his vampire family that his human father was searching a rich and suitable partner for him for almost a year before his change. So... Mr. Rojnapat is still busy in his quest for a perfect suitor for his handsomely beautiful son.... But he hasn't found Mr. Anderson yet. So it's months before that potrait, hanging in Kong's house, has been done.
And as for Why ??.... Kong is there to make sure that Arthit will meet Noor and Knott at the right time, so he can be changed into a vampire. Because, Arthit's transformation into a vampire is necessary, for Kong and Arthit to be able to meet in the future.
It's their Fate... Which brings them together like this, in the future... And in the past too.
If there is still some doubt about the time travel... Please ask me right away 😊

Kongpob's Pov---------
I yawned and stretched. I couldn’t contemplate how weird my dream was... I had seen a human Arthit, back during his human days, and The dream seemed so real.
I opened my eyes and looked up, I wasn’t in my bed, I was lying in some type of old fashioned canopy bed. I sat up so fast that the room spun a bit. The room was a soft yellow with white accents. The bedding and canopy was white too. I look around the room, none of the furniture was modern, but yet it looked classy. On my left, between the wall and the window there was an old but sturdy looking dresser. Directly across from me was a vanity table with a large oval mirror, one similar to the one my grandmother had. To the right of that, was a small table with a large ceramic bowl on the top, next to it was a pitcher. They were the type someone would use in the olden days to wash their face. I have seen that in old classics movies.
Suddenly, I wonder if I was still dreaming ?? After all, was it possible that I went back in time ?? If so, am I in Arthit's house ??
The door that is next to the vanity table opened and a woman walked in. She has beautiful mahagony hair and hazel eyes, just like Arthit.
Is she his mother ??
“Thank God, you are finally awake. Young man, you have made us all worried. Especially my son, he was nervous that he had hurt you unintended. How are you feeling now, my dear ??”
The woman spoke to me.
“My head is still throbbing a bit, but I will be fine soon, Thank you. Excuse me, but where am I ??”
I asked.
In my mind, I tried to remember the do's and don’ts of this time. I didn’t want to offend anyone or make any errors. I also was going to need a good cover story for myself. I am sure I would be heading to the mental asylum, if I say that I am from the future.
“Forgive me dear, I am Mrs. Marry Rojnapat, and you are at my home. My son, Arthit, brought you here after you collapsed on the road. Our home was closer than a hospital. But don't worry, Our family doctor has checked you out. May I ask, who you are, my dear ??”
She asked pleasantly.
“My name is Kongpob Suthiluck”
I told her softly.
“Good to see you awake and fine Mr. Suthiluck”
A new voice entered the conversation. I looked up and Arthit was leaning against the doorframe, hands in the pockets of his pants.
“Young man, it is rude to lurk in the doorways”
Mrs. Rojnapat scolded her son.
“My apologies Mother, I heard voices and I wanted to check to see how Mr Suthiluck was fairing”
Arthit said in a pure gentlemenly manner, as he straightened up.
“I am feeling Better, Thank you. Thank you so much Mr. Rojnapat for all your assistance”
I told him politely.
“Mr. Rojnapat is my father, please call me Arthit”
Arthit smiled his charming dimpled grin.
I felt myself blush and my body shivered. Thank goodness I was already sitting. Out of the corner of my eye I saw his mother cock an eyebrow.
“Well, then please call me Kongpob, although I preferred to be called Kong”
I bit my lip before smiling back.
“My dear, I am afraid I don’t know the name Suthiluck in our neighbourhood. Who can we contact for you ??”
Mrs. Rojnapat asked.
Great !!! What now ??
I had no family at this time I could contact. The only other persons I knew would be around at this time was.... Noor and Knott.
That’s it… They were in Seattle, around this time period. I had to get to them. If anyone could help me right now, it would be only them.
“To tell the truth, I am completely new here. My parents passed away, when our house burned down, last month. I was trying to find a relative of my mother’s. I heard my mother mention about her cousin sister's daughter living in Seattle once, saying she was working in a hospital here. Unfortunately, I only have a name to go on.”
“What is her name, dear ??”
Mrs. Rojnapat prompted.
“Noor Thaklam, Ma’am.”
I answered.
“Hmm, again I am not familiar with that name also. But do not worry, you can stay with us until we can locate your relative”
Arthit’s mother’s generosity was too kind.
I felt guilty for lying. I wondered if human Arthit could tell if I was lying, like his future self always did. Tears welled up in my eyes by the memory of my Arthit.
“Thank you for your kindness,”
I told her.
“There, there....”
She gave me a handkerchief.
“No need for tears young man. Forgive me for asking, but I am assuming you lost all your belongings in the fire ??”
She asked.
I simply nodded.
“Well, let me check Arthit's wardrobe. You both are about the same size so you should be able to fit into some of his clothings”
She moved to get up.
“Young man, what are you still doing here ??”
She looked at Arthit.
Arthit was standing in the doorway with his hands clasped behind his back. He was frowning, but looked up guiltily and his ears turned red at his mother’s inquiries.
Arthit blushed...... !!
Now that is something I never saw before.
“My apologies, I did not mean to intrude. I am sorry for your loss, Kong. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask me”
Arthit straightened his posture.
“What you can do is march yourself downstairs. Tell Maria to bring our guest some breakfast. After that, get back to your studies”
Mrs. Rojnapat informed him.
“Yes, Mother.”
Arthit nodded his head and left the room.
I bit back a giggle at Arthit’s behavior; his mother was smiling amusingly too.
“Well, it's going to be hard for him... But I am happy”
Mrs. Rojnapat sighed with a gentle smile on her beautiful face.
“I am sorry, I do not understand.”
I looked at her and she gave me a soft smile, she patted my hand before walking to the door.
“Unless I am wrong, I am sure you will find out soon enough”
She left the room, closing the door behind her.
I tried to contemplate her words. They seemed to related with Arthit, but I lacked the understanding behind it. I sighed and stepped out of the bed. I was in a simple white shirt with some loosely fitting pants. I glanced around and noticed what appeared to be a robe or whatever it was called, during this time, I think an overcoat, hanging behind the canopy bed. I remember I was wearing that when I met Arthit at the road side.
I groaned inwardly. Luckily, I read enough books around this time period that I had a vague sense of things around me, but I was still worried of calling attention to myself.
I walked over to the window and peered out at a nice small yard. I hoped I could find Noor and Knott, and that they would help me. But... I would have to be careful how to do it. Sure, they are vampires by now, and no one knows their true identity. But just because I am aware of their secret, would they accept so easily that I was from future ??
I prayed that they does.
I needed to talk to someone about this. I didn’t want to do anything that would mess up the time continuum. Although, at the same time, I was wondering.... Because I was sent back in time, should I save Arthit from that accident and lose his life so early. However, if I save him, how would that mess up our future ?? Would he suddenly disappear from our time ?? Would that mean we would never meet in future ?? And will I be able to go back in my time ?? Or could I stay back in this time with human Arthit ?? Arthit is so reluctant to change me into a vampire, because he was afraid of loosing me. Would I have a better chance with him, in this time, since he is a human too and we can be together without any risks ??
There were so many questions, that my head started to throb again. I turn to start making my bed when there was a knock on the door.
“Come in”
I answered.
The door opened and an old aged women entered with a tray. She has almost all grey hair and some were turning white at her temple. She was wearing a dark skirt and dark high collared blouse with a starch white apron.
“So... you are the reason of all the fuss is about....”
She placed the tray on the vanity table.
“Sit and eat, making up the beds is my job, Master Kongpob”
“I am sorry ma'am. I do not mean to be any trouble”
I stepped back, taking my seat as ordered.
“Of course not dear boy. But you gave our poor Master Arthit quite a fright. He showed up here with you in his arms, and he refused to put you down. He was terrified that he had hurt you preety bad. Mrs. Rojnapat had to convince him that it was best for him to let you go, so that he could go and fetch the family doctor, to check if you were well. Then, the poor boy has been walking back and forth in front of your room until his mother shooed him away. He does not think I know, but I do know... that he slept leaning against your door last night”
She sighed and shook her head with a laugh.
Shock hits me, I didn’t expect Arthit to react that way. It reminded me of how over protective he was in our time. Was he always that way with people or is it... because it was ME... ?? His mate.... But he is not a vampire yet.... Am I still his mate... Even as a human ??
“Now, no need to frown, the boy has never been smitten with anyone like this before. Toss in, you being hurt, awakened feelings in that boy he has never had”
She smiled at me.
I felt something in my heart tug. She sounded like she is implying that Arthit cared for me already.
That couldn’t be possible. Could it ??
“You must be mistaken”
I told her.
“I do not think I am. I have seen the look in that boy’s eyes. I can also see that in yours”
She turned while standing at the door with the pitcher in her hand.
“Now eat, Master Kongpob, you are not well. I will be right back with fresh clothes for you to change into”
I am left alone in the room and I eat my toast and eggs quickly. I am finishing my juice when she comes back.
“Good, you are done”
She came back into the room with some dress shirt and formal pants over one arm and the pitcher in the other. She puts the pitcher by the bowl and then lays out the clothes on the bed.
“Which one would you like to wear today, Master ?? Select one and I will put the rest into the dresser”
She gestures to the deep brown dresser in the corner.
I selected the top placed clothes on the pile, a dress shirt of shiny blue silk and the pants were loose with lots of pleats.
“These clothes are very soft and elegant”
I complimented.
“Madam always choose best clothes for master Arthit. Now Tell me, Master Suthiluck....... What year are you from ??”
She doesn’t look at me as she asks.
At first I thought she might be inquiring my age.
Then it dawned on me what she was asking.....
“I am sorry, but I do not understand what you are asking ??”
I looked away and try to keep a neutral face.
“Do not be alarmed sir, I am not going to tell anything to anyone. I am a descendent of the great gypsy family. Magic have been running through my whole bloodline, more potent in women. I can recognise magic whenever I see it”
She turned to look at me.
“I am from 2022”
I whispered, hoping I found a person, I can share my secrets with.
“You know this Dr. Noor Thaklam from that time you come from ??”
I nodded.
“Master Arthit as well....”
It was a statement not a question. I didn’t answer, I froze.
“It’s alright, dear. I share my ancestor’s gift of seeing what is to come. I know that Mr. Rojnapat is going to sell his own son in the name of marriage, because he is facing some loss in his buisness. I can see that poor boy wouldn't be ready for that unsuitable marriage. I was not sure what was going to happen to the young master until you arrived.”
She moved behind me to put the other clothes inside the dresser.
“Then do you know why I am here ?? Am I supposed to stop Arthit from getting hurt and changed into an immortal ??”
I asked her while rubbing my fingers over the soft fabric of the silk shirt in my hands.
She pulled out some white towel from the dresser.
“To answer your question, NO, I do not believe you are here to change things from your future. I believe that you are here to ensure that they happen accordingly”
She told me as she moved to the pitcher as she poured some water into the bowl and then handed me a a piece of soap. As I was washing my face, I thought that over. If that was true, I will have to watch Arthit being forced to be agree for that marriage proposal and then almost being molested, then ran away, then get into the accident and then almost dying.....
I was not sure if I was strong enough for that.
“I am not sure if I am strong enough for that ??”
I informed her honestly, finishing up.
“Well, then... Get strong enough, Master Suthiluck. Master Arthit’s fate depends on it”
She handed me the towel after I finished washing my face
“Change your clothes and I will be waiting outside”
She said and walked out. After few minutes she asked permission to enter the room. When she saw me dressed in Arthit's clothes, she smiled brightly at me.
“What has you so worried Master Suthiluck ??”
She asked.
I then went into the explanation of What happened to Arthit, how he was changed, found a family and lastly how he met me and saved me in the future. I also told her how Arthit was afraid of changing me into a vampire. She was quiet and thoughtful.
“You see, dear, if he has changed you into an immortal being during your time, then you would not have been injured in that accident and definitely wouldn't have come back here to ensure that everything happens the way it is supposed to be. I believe you were always meant to come here.... to ensure Master Arthit's change”
She told me while collecting the things from the table.
“But what happens to me then ?? Do I go back to my time ?? When I do, will Arthit change me, or would it be successful ??”
I started to worry.
“I can not see that far into the future, but, my dear, I can surely feel that you two are soul mates. The real soulmates. You can not survive without the other. It will be only a matter of time before you are together again, I am sure of it. That boy down there is already head over heels for you. I sensed it and so does his mother. He may not realise it, but he has always been the most indifferent boy of his age, specially about the topic of Romance”
She finished.
Maybe that was what his mother was alluding to, earlier.
Before leaving the room, she helped me out with some do's and don’ts, so I am not feeling like I am walking on eggshells. However, there are so many rules of etiquette that I was afraid I wasn’t going to remember them all.
“Do not worry, if you are not sure of something, come and find me”
She told me as she picks up the bowl and towel to head out of the room.
“Can I help you with anything ??”
I asked her.
“No, thank you. As a guest in this house that would not be proper”
She smiled, she paused to think for a minute.
“There is a library on the second floor, two doors down on the left, we are currently on the third. Lunch will be served at noon in the dining room”
She left the room.
I wonder if she is right. It is not that I didn’t want to believe her, but I am worried about loosing him. Maria seemed certain about our future together but.... Only time would tell.
If Maria is right then I have to let Arthit die or I would never meet him in the future.
And if I try to save him from that accident... That could lead to Knott and Noor never meeting the others also. That wonderful vampire family may never meet each other. So, if Maria was right, I must be strong and make sure that my vampire family will find each other in future.
But before I make any decisions on what to do, I will wait to talk to Knott and Noor. I hoped that convincing them that I know both of them from the future wouldn’t be too hard.
“Well, it’s time to go find the Vampires. The two most wonderful Vampires in Seattle”
I muttered to myself and giggled at my bad joke. I left the room to explore the beautiful house.
