I am here with a new Vampire story.

I am so flattered with the response I have got, from all of you, for my story Tombstone........

I loved writing Arthit as a vampire.
He sounds so beautiful and scary at the same time. A perfect choice for a vampire lead. I hope you all will like this story too.

Here are some information about the Vampires in my story ------------

Vampires are immortal creatures.
They don't die on their own. But they can be killed, by another Vampires or by burning in fire.
They are stronger and faster than humans. Their sight, their hearing, their power of smell, all are much more enhanced than the humans.

They don't have to hide from the sunlight, it doesn't harm them as the myth says but they do feel uneasy in sunlight because bright sunrays hurts their eyes with their too perfect eyesight. They can go to the church or any other sacred places along with humans. As for diet..... they need blood to sustain themselves. Their eyes looks red, only....when they are too hungry and about to feed..... Rest of the time their eyes look black.

Vampires can eat human food too, but it doesn't taste good to them so they try to avoid it at any cost. They have a low body temperature than humans but not freezing cold. They are not a walking dead.... their heart beats too, but slower than humans. they look like a human in every sense. They can't sleep because their bodies dosen't need to, but they can rest and shut their minds off for relaxation.

Vampires have fated mates for them, they can recognise their mates by their special smell or by the touch. They mate for life, they will never feel any strong emotion about someone if he or she wasn't their fated one. It's very hard for them to stop themselves to claim their mate when they find them. Vampires can't live without their mate's after mating, if their mate dies, they will also die a painful and slow death.

Most Vampires find their mates in a form of an another Vampire. It's rare to find a human mate for a vampire, but not impossible. If one's mate is human they can change them in to a Vampire too, by infusing their venom into that human's body, but that's a very dangerous process.

They can sense their fated mate, after meeting them, from anywhere no matter how much distance is there between two of them, they will find each other anyhow.

So here is the introduction about the main characters.

Now a little information about Arthit and his Vampire family-----

They all have been turned into a vampire at different times...... but now they live together as a family. They are not related.... but they found each other in their journey as a vampires and decided to stick together. They share a strong family bond with each and every member.

They all live on a diet of human blood but they value human lives and don't want to hurt anyone or kill anyone to sustain themselves so they steal blood from different hospitals and blood banks.

Knott has been looked up as a family head, because he is the oldest one among them, Everyone respects him a lot. He runs an NGO and is associated with other social working groups too. He loves to help other people. Arthit is closest to him and Noor. She works as a Physiotherapist at the City hospital. At the time of emergency, she provides the blood to her family members, from the hospital blood bank.

Prem always loved to capture the beautiful things on his camera, so he opened A photo studio of his own and now he is a very renowned name in the photography field. His mate Wad was always into the books and encyclopaedias, So he chose to work as a teacher....... He works as a senior professor at the Bangkok University.

Bright and Jenny were the newest members of the family. They both are very free spirited person and they loves to travel and exploring new places, Because of them being immortal they all have to shift from place to place every 10 to 15 years in max. Bright and Jenny are the one to be responsible for finding a new place for them to settle in, for the next 15 years or so.

They all have learned to control their instincts around humans and there has never been a problem with that.......so far.

Arthit is the only one in the family, who hasn't found his mate yet.

Now, a flashback scene about how Arthit was inspired to start 'Guardian Angels' in the first place.

9 Years ago----

Third Person POV----------

A young boy was jogging around the park. He wasn't expecting any company as it was 4 a.m. in the morning. The sun was starting to rise and birds were just stirring in the pre-dawn light. No one noticed him passing, he was so quiet. The early morning air caressed his smooth skin as he moved swiftly along the main road, around the park.

Suddenly he stopped short in his steps and tilted his head towards a sound that broke him out of his train of thoughts. It was a sound of an accelerated heartbeat.... followed by the sound of a sharp slap and then some muffled sounds of crying and whimpering.

"I warned you that you have to face the consequences of your actions and still you are trying to disobey me ??"

Another harsh sound of a slap riverbreated through the slightly enlightened morning and then the sobbing sound could be heard. When the sound of a foot making contact with somebody's soft flesh came to his ears, without a second thought the boy sped up in that direction.

He saw a woman, kneeling on the ground and a bulky man was towering over her, his hand raised to strike again.

"I told you that you can't hide away from me for long, I will find you even from the other side of the earth"

He shouted at top of his lungs, that women was crouching lower at his feet. Her palms covering her face, her head bowed down and her shoulders were shaking.

That man tried to grab her by her hair but.....

Before he could... his hand was held in a tight grip, then a cold, strong and pale hand came into his view.

He was startled and looked around to find an Angel......

A very scary looking Angel.

"I would stop now..... if I were you"

Angel said in a Calm and cold voice.

The bulky man was shocked at the strength of the hand, of a young teenager looking pretty boy. His eyes widened and filled with desire when the beautiful boy displayed his dazzling dimpled smile.

"Hey sexy.....let me handle her first then we can go to a nice place to talk or....... do something else, if you want"

The man said in a sultury voice

But he was confused too, that boy was so young and so lean, in front of his bulky self.

How could he be holding back his fist so easily, without showing any discomfort ??

Why he felt the hair on his neck starting to rise ??

With a beautiful smile on his face, the angel like boy flicked his wrist and the bulky man hauled in pain, kneeling on the ground, cradling his arm close to his chest.

He gazed up at him in shock, painful tears pooling in his eyes. What he had first thought...... was an Angel now looked more like a DEVIL.....

His lips were drawn back in a snarl, his gleaming teeth snapping close to his ears.

"If I were you, I would just run away from here to save my life and to never look for this woman again. You.... Do the same.......
Don't force me to finish you right here "

With a growl that boy snapped his teeth once again and stared deep into his eyes

"Do you understand what I am trying to say ??"

He asked

The bulky man nodded in a daze, fear dripping from his eyes in the form of his tears.

The boy left his gaze and turned towards the whimpering women. Her sobbing was seized by the look of amazement in her eyes

The angel leaned down and offered her, his hand.

She grasped it hurriedly but shivered down by the coldness of it in instant. But she felt the warmth of safety and comfort in that cold strengthful touch.

The boy put an arm around the bruised woman's waist and help her out of the park

"I will take you to the hospital, I think you should go there and have a checkup"

The woman nodded her head and allowed herself to be led away swiftly.

"I am Arthit "

The angel like boy said

"I am Tanya"

The woman replied with her slightly trembling lips.

later that day, Arthit sat with his family Knott, Noor, Prem, Wad, Bright and Jenny.

Noor was just filling them in, about Tanya, the woman, whom Arthit saved earlier in the park.

"A volunteer from the Women's Abuse Network came and spoke with her, she has decided to file a police report against that man"

Arthit listened to Noor and looked out the window, gazing unseeing, down at the road ahead.

"Our NGO had already sent someone else to speak with her family too. They all need to be safe"

Knott informed further.

"I heard the sirens just after you left this morning, Arthit. It appears that the police were tipped off that a mugger was in the park. They caught up to him as he was stumbling down one of the paths, nursing a broken wrist"

Bright said and Arthit smiled

"He was lucky that's ALL..... that was broken. When I saw him beating that women, it was all I could do to NOT end him right there. I wasn't even thirsty, but the venom was filling my mouth and he was very lucky that I needed to get her away from him"

Noor reached over and patted his hand. Arthit turned his hand up and grasped her's tightly.

"Do you think that's why I jog there ?? So I can play 'Super Hero' ??"

Noor smiled and replied...

"Naah..... but guess what ?? This is the tenth time this year, that the police have been tipped off that some bad guy is loose near a crime location"

Arthit laughed, showing those gleaming teeth again.

"Not that I need the money, but I should be on their payroll"

They all laughed at his teasing tone.

"There are other ways to help the people, who are in need"

Jenny mumbled and Bright glanced over at his wife and he nodded his head.

"We know that you have been wondering what the next thing' should be. Maybe this is it"

Arthit looked at his friend with a slightly confused expression on his face.

"What's a better job than to be a protecter, A security agency !!"

Bright said smiling. Arthit's jaw dropped.

"You are faster and stronger than the 'bad guys'. You would probably meet lots of interesting people too"

Jenny looked into the wondering but intrigued eyes of Arthit.

"And, unless it's another vampire, a werewolf or a mob carrying fire torches hunting your client, you can't really be hurt either Arthit"

Arthit considered the idea for a moment, and then a burst of laughter escaped his mouth, ringing through the living room

"I can see my business cards now, 'Vampire Bodyguard, No threat too big, no threat too small' !!"

He looked back and forth at his smiling friends

"This could be fun !!"

Prem joined the fun too

"I bet that Bright would enjoy something like this thoroughly. He would scare the criminals by his badass jokes only !!"

Wad mused.

Arthit thought for a moment then he laughed.

"This just might work out"

He chuckled again and glancing up at his family from beneath his lashes as Bright said,

"I am with you buddy, bring it on !!"

"I will join you guys too..... afterall you need someone to control this dumb vampire here"

Jenny joined the fun, pointing her long fingers at her mate....who was pouting while sulking at her.

They all burst out laughing together.
