4 - Angels Have Such Bad Vibes
"I'm back,"
Yeseul's soft voice drifted through the store, earning the attention of two people in particular.
One had orange hair and a slightly stocky build as he greeted the female, leaning back in his chair. The other had blue hair, his eyes focused upon her as she approached the counter.
"He wasn't any trouble, was he?"
"Of course not," Minho answered, cheerfully. "In fact, it was nice to have some company,"
"Yes," Jeongin narrowed his eyes at the older boy. "Delightful,"
It appeared that the Jeon girl hadn't noticed the sarcasm dripping in the Yang boy's words, or had chosen to ignore it.
"Wonderful," She smiled. "Well we'll be off then,"
"Before you go," Minho stopped the girl as his eyes exchanged a look with the angel. "I think we should talk,"
Yeseul tilted her head in confusion, unsure at what the older boy was trying to get at. "About..."
Minho leaned closer to the female, almost so that their noses were touching. "I know that Jeongin's your guardian angel,"
There was a pause as Yeseul addressed the boy's words, until her face morphed into horror. Minho probably thought that she was mad!
"About that," Yeseul grabbed Jeongin's arm, much to his distaste. "He doesn't really know what he's saying, it's just nonsense, I promise you,"
"If you think I've gone insanse, then you're wrong," Minho snorted in amusement at the younger's attempt to hide the truth. "I should know myself, I'm a demon,"
Yeseul abruptly dropped Jeongin's arms. "You're a what?"
The Yang boy rolled his eyes and tutted. "Do you have that short of an attention span? He said that he is a demon,"
The Jeon girl blinked.
Minho. Lee Minho. The boy who gave her warm ramen and ice cream whenever she popped in during his shifts, the boy who was extremely good at imitating the prentious students at her university. He couldn't possibly be a demon.
"T-They don't... they can't,"
"Sweetheart, if guardian angels can exist, then demons certainly can," A teasing smile appeared on his face. "It explains the good looks too,"
Blushing profusely, Yeseul turned away and looked towards the angel, almost asking if it was true. If the sweet boy from the convenience store really was a demon.
"Now do you understand why I didn't want to be babysat by him?" Jeongin scrunched up his nose, cutely. "He gives me such bad vibes,"
Minho snorted. "Shut your mouth, angel, you have a disgustingly heavanly presence, it's suffocating,"
Ignoring the two, who had began to bicker, Yeseul tried to ignore the nauseous feeling that was churning in her stomach.
Demons, angels.
What next?
Werewolves?
"Werewolves don't exist," Yeseul's head snapped towards the Lee boy who was smirking. "Imagine if they did,"
"Twilight is quaking," Jeongin muttered.
"How did yo- Did you just read my mind?"
A single nod confirmed her worst fear as Yeseul began to slowly realise that Minho knew exactly just how attractive she found him.
"And can I just say," Minho ruffled the female's dark hair. "I'm honoured you find me attractive, but, you're much like a little sister to me,"
"I have a boyfriend," Yeseul mumbled with red cheeks.
Jeongin's lips curled into a repulsive expression. "Ah, yes, the boyfriend,"
"Speaking of him," Yeseul muttered under her breath as she glanced at the vibrating phone, Cha Iseul demanding to be answered.
"Don't answer," The Yang boy pleaded, but the female ignored his words.
"Iseul?"
"Where the hell are you?"
The Jeon winced at his harsh tone. "I left the university, I'm at a store,"
"Fine, see you later,"
As the phone hung up, Yeseul realised that she somehow had to hide Jeongin in her apartment, she had to keep him away from Iseul!
