15 - Jeongin's Smart Human
Yeseul didn't really know what she had been expecting. She'd thought that the dinner would be a fancy, formal affair and that there would be caviar and wine, but the get together couldn't be anything less than that!
It was them just talking.
And Yeseul enjoyed that.
She found herself chatting amongst the boys, getting to know them better, and finding common ground between both the angels as well as the demons.
She learned that the host of the party, Hyunjin, was a passionate artist, and he had shown her his works, displayed in the living room. Changbin may have looked rather intimidating, but he was rather gentle in his mannerisms. Jisung was quite talkative, but also showed signs of introvertedness. Felix was just an adorable boy, melting the Jeon girl with his smile, and whilst Seungmin looked innocent, his savagery could rival that of Minho's.
"Alright, enough chit-chat," Chan called, drawing all the attention to him. "Let's go eat!"
...
It appeared that the 8 boys had appetites similar to lions as they wolfed down the food that was provided to them. She watched in complete shock as Jeongin finished his chicken within a few bites, whereas she had about three more quarters to go.
"Ah, you can never beat a good slice of chicken," Minho leaned back in his seat, rubbing his stomach.
"Yeseul, what do you do?" Seungmin asked, curiously.
"I'm a law student at Seoul National University," The female responded, a hint of pride in her voice as the other whistled, impressed.
"Jeongin has a smart human, then," Changbin smirked. "Couldn't say the same for you, though,"
"Hyung," The Yang boy whined. "Stop, you're embarrassing me,"
"That's what we're supposed to do, Jeongin," Felix beamed. "After all, you are the maknae,"
Yeseul tilted her head. "Wait! Jeongin's the maknae?"
Minho snorted. "You didn't know?"
"Yeah, this little fox here is the youngest out of all of us," Hyunjin lightly ruffled the said boy's blue hair, who groaned, displeased. "We may annoy him to pieces but he still loves,"
Seungmin narrowed his eyes, playfully. "He has no choice,"
...
Dinner had continued with further conversation and delicious dishes that Yeseul knew she would never taste again. Yet, her curiosity remained equally high at the relationship between the boys.
She knew that they had all lived together, and had split after Song Areum's death, but to her, their bond was unbreakable, considering that they fell into easy laughter when near each other.
"You okay?" Yeseul jumped, startled by the sudden appearence of her guardian angel.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm good," She smiled. "It must be nice seeing them all again,"
The Yang boy glanced at his hyungs, who were cheerfully messing around, Hyunjin wailing at a vase that Jisung and Felix had accidentally broke.
"Yeah," He admitted, softly. "It feels good,"
