I lean against the wall as I let everyone contemplate their life after I showed them what happens in the films, the deaths and losses they experience just to defeat Thanos.

I look over at Loki who turned his emotions off from me and I frown as he held his head in his hands, sitting on a couch far away from me.

Loki...

I beg him and he doesn't budge.

You are not the villain, remember what I first told you back when we first met.

I see him bristle, his body slumping over and I let him feel my love for him. I feel him open up and I get knocked over by sadness, walking over to sit down next to him.

"You are a good person Loki. You loved your brother till the end." I hold his hand, kissing the back of it and Loki buries his head in my neck.

"I could've avoided all this bloodshed if I never gave him the tesseract."

"And you didn't Loki. Not in this timeline. I stopped you from going to the treasury room and you never got the stone. You gave everyone extra time with their loved ones as Thanos had to find the stone in space after I... destroyed Asgard..." I flinch as I say that.

"That was your doing (y/n), you gave everyone extra time."

"And it was your doing too." I felt Loki's disbelief. "Loki, it all began with a butterfly effect. If you never healed me back in Asgard when I fell, never took care of me, then everything would be going according to the movies but you gave everyone a second chance. You gave yourself a second chance of being happy." I kiss his cheek and Loki smiles softly at me.

"You really do have a way with words, don't you."

"I learned from the best." Loki pecks my lips before leaning his head on my shoulder.

"So Thanos snaps half the population anyway, no matter what we try to do." Bruce sighs out, rubbing his forehead to rid the headache brewing in his head.

"But now we know what he's planning to do and we can stop it." Steve says, getting that leader aura back into action.

"So next stop is Wakanda then." Natasha says and I nod.

"Thanos wants the stone in Visions head which means he has 5 at the moment-"

"-he wants Visions and the 7th stone that Thor saw in his vision." Bruce corrects me and I nod.

"Perks of changing the timeline, there is a mystery stone we don't know about." I sigh out as I stand up. "He will be fighting with Strange, Tony, Peter and the guardians of the galaxy on planet Titan while the battle in Wakanda ensues. Strange fails to protect the time stone and Thanos will get it."

"And I'm guessing this hasn't happened yet." Steve says I shake my head no.

"Not yet we need to go to Wakanda to get the stone out of Visions head safely."

"Looks like you might be seeing your old buddy Captain." Rhodey pats Steve shoulder as we all walk out of the room to get ready for our flight to Wakanda. As I sat in my seat, I was fiddling with my ring, a bad feeling settling in my stomach.

"Don't worry (y/n)." Loki sits down next to me and grabs my hand, entwining our fingers together.

"Loki, promise me one thing."

"Anything for you."

"If I die, I want you to continue living happily." Loki looks at me with surprise, his brows furrow as I stared at my ring.

"That will not happen-"

"-just promise me. Promise me that you live your days smiling and as your cheerful mischievous self with your brother and your people."

"(y/n) what-"

"-the universe rights itself sooner or later Loki so if something happens to me, please don't mourn for me. Please don't let me hold you back when you want to find love again."

"Why are you saying this!?" Loki was getting furious but I know he was scared beneath it all.

"Please, Loki promise me." I beg him and he sighs in defeat.

"Only because I love you (y/n)." Loki holds me tightly in his lap as the quinjet flies off and I lay my head on his chest.

I love you too Loki...

"Hey, it's Chat Noir!" I wave at T'Challa and he sighs in annoyance as Okoye snickers.

"Hello to you too (y/n)." T'Challa replies back as he greets the rest of the avengers. "So how big of an assault can we expect?"

"Half the population of earth will disappear." I speak up and everyone besides the avengers looks at me in shock.

"That... is a massive assault." T'Challa says. "I am guessing the men I have assigned will not be enough."

"Not even this semi-stable, 100-year-old man?" I gasp as I see Jesus Bucky.

OMG, IT'S BUCKY!

Loki glares at Bucky as he hears me fangirl over him. "How you been, Buck?" Steve hugs his best buddy pal.

"Uh, not bad, for the end of the world." Bucky peers over Steves's shoulder and he smiles at me when he sees me. "And it's lovely to see you again (y/n). I heard you got married, congratulations." I could feel Loki seething as I swoon over Bucky. "Who's the lucky guy?"

"That would be me." Loki pulls me to his side and I snicker at how protective he suddenly was. "And it's Queen (y/n) to you mortal."

Bucky chuckles and bows. "Apologies Queen (y/n)."

Oh, mama.

Bucky grins at me as he looks up while bowing, straightening himself back up. "Ok, enough playing poke the possessive God." Steve says and we all head inside the palace towards Shuri's lab.

"That reminds me, where is the other god?" T'Challa asks.

"He went to forge another weapon." I bristle as Loki answers T'Challa, reaching Shuri's lab.

"Ah, the infamous Laufeysons that I have heard so much about from the avengers." Shuri grins as she sees us. "You must be the (y/n) everyone spoke so fondly of over the phone."

"Guilty as charged." I chuckle, trying to push down the anxious feeling in my stomach as I let everyone talk about how to remove the stone from Vision safely.

"What's wrong darling?"

"You said Thor went to forge another weapon?" Loki nods and I start pacing. "He has no reason to. He didn't experience the massive loss of you and his people like the movies, I mean it would be a disadvantage for us if he didn't get his new weapon, but if he did, that means everything is still going according to the film even if I change a huge aspect of it."

"The universe is still trying to right the wrongs..." Loki understands what I mean. "Is there really nothing we can do to try and stop this war?" Loki asks and honestly, I didn't know.

"We need to try anyway-" I stumble as I suddenly feel the ground around us shake violently.

"Something's entered the atmosphere." I quickly rush over the window to see one of the alien vessels shatter into pieces against Wakanda's defence shield.

"Wanda and Pietro, I need you to stay here and protect Vision, Shuri and each other." the twins nod at me as I look back at everyone. "The war has just begun." Shuri quickly starts on extracting the stone from Vision as I slam my hands down on the ground to let my powers filter across the room and build up a protective wall to keep out attackers. "We can come and go but I can only hold this up as long as I can to keep the goons out that try to take Vision." the avengers all nod and they rush off to gear up.

"We will hold them off." T'Challa says

"Wanda, as soon as the stone's out of his head...you blow it to hell." Steve looks at Wanda and she nods.

"I will." Wanda then turns to me, holding my hand as my powers streak through my skin. "You stay safe ok."

"You too." I look at Pietro and he purses his lips. "Don't die on me again ok." He chuckles nervously as Loki and I walk out with the others, letting my powers wash over me to change into my black and white suit. Loki does the same as he wears his Asgardian leather with his daggers in his hands. "You ready to do this love?" Loki smirks at me, holding my hand tightly.

"As ready as I'll ever be." he quickly pulls me close to his chest and leans down to kiss me deeply, in case it might be our last.

I love you Loki.

Loki leans back, letting me catch my breath as he kisses my forehead. "As cute as that was, hurry up! We got alien ass to kick!" Sam calls out and I chuckle with Loki, pulling us outside to see the hoard of ships landing beyond the shield. 

"We'll see each other later love." I promise Loki as he squeezes my hand before letting go. We all stand in a line, ready to go down and keep this world safe as I pull my hood up. I hover off the ground, the sky darkening as my powers crackle and circle around me. "Time to stop all this."
