Being nervous was a fucking statement.

I was extremely nervous, extremely anxious and FUCKING TENSE LIKE HOLY FUCKING SHIT I'M ACTUALLY GETTING MARRIED!?

I was pacing in the tent, trying to calm down my feelings that were all over the place. I could feel myself starting to get even more panicked as I felt my lungs struggle to get air in. The panic suddenly disappears and I sigh in bliss from the calm and loving feelings that washed over me, hugging my harness to my chest. I knew Loki could feel my nervousness, sending over his emotions to calm me down and I felt even more loved.

"I can't believe I'm getting married..." I sigh out as I sit down on my chair, a smile on my face knowing I was finally getting my happy ending that I had dreamed about every night in that damned hospital. I stand back up, looking at myself in the mirror to smooth down dark green wedding gown. It was a sheer high neck dress with long sleeves and gold lace applique, my hair pinned up loosely with flowers and wavy curls around my face to show off the design.

I had helped Pepper and Loki plan out the wedding like every other soon bride-to-be would do, choosing favourite flowers, the type of cake and whatnot. Loki grew excited as the days ticked down to the actual day, teaching me of the Asgardian wedding rituals we both needed to take in front of his people before my more normal westernised wedding.

"How's the soon to be Mrs. Odinson?" I look over at the tent opening to see the girls all walk in, them wearing bridesmaid dresses that they all liked. I didn't want to be picky and let them wear whatever they wanted to wear. Natasha beamed at me, hugging me gently.

"You look beautiful (y/n)." Wanda sniffles, trying not to cry off her makeup.

"Like the princess you should be." Maria gently places a tiara on my head, the final piece of my wedding dress before Pepper hands me a bouquet of flowers.

"You're actually getting married." Pepper holds me at arm's length, a sweet smile on her face as she caresses my face. "It's like I have watched you grow up in front of my very eyes." her eyes water and she looks away to try and hold back her tears.

"Are the girls all crying in here?" Sam mocks but he freezes as he sees me, a giant smile on his face. "Well look at you, the prettiest shawty in here." I chuckle as winks at me, the other guys soon joining him in the tent.

"You look absolutely beautiful (y/n)." Bruce, Clint and Scott say with a soft voice, Pietro and Peter just jumping about with excitement and adrenaline for the wedding.

"Stop dragging me! I don't want to burst into tears!" everyone snickers as Thor and Steve drag Tony into the tent. He freezes as he sees me, mouth dropping wide. Everyone quickly leaves the tent to leave Tony and me together, knowing that we needed to talk.

"Hey Tony..." I set the flowers down carefully to look back and see him wiping his face.

"God, I didn't want to cry today! Look what you made me do!" I walk over to him and I hug him tightly, Tony leaning down and hugging me back.

"Thank you for everything you have done for me Tony. For looking after me, giving me a family and just taking care of me. You didn't have to do any of this but you did."

"Of course I would." Tony leans back and holds my face. "You mean so much for every single person here, especially me." Tony kisses my forehead and tears brim my eyes.

"Don't make me cry here!" Tony chuckles, patting my chin up.

"Keep your head up high sweets. Starks are looked up at not, not looked down at." I beam, my heart racing at the fact Tony called me a Stark. I hear the music start to play and I see Pepper peep her head in signalling that it was time.

"Tony, make sure that when you and Pepper have your kid, you throw the most luxurious wedding ever." He chuckles, nodding and was about to leave but I tug him back. "Tony... will you give me away?" He smiles at me softly.

"It would be my honour to give you away (y/n)." He passes me the bouquet before holding his arm out for me to hold. "Ready?" Tony asks and I nod, taking in a deep breath.

"Ready as I'll ever be." the both of us step out, following the footpath of petals down the archway of flowers as Clints' children walked in front of us while throwing flower petals.

My breath hitches once my eyes land on Loki and his widen, feeling a surge of love and absolute adoration flood through me as he stares at me. Loki smiles at me while trying to hold back his tears as Thor pats his back, a giant grin on his face as they stood beneath the decorated forest trees that hung with warm glowing fairy lights.

Yeah, we went with Bella and Edwards forest wedding theme.

I look on either side of me, the chairs filled with everyone I had come across to know and love along with the Asgardian civilians, flowers surrounding all of us as if they bloomed from the ground and bloomed from the trees above us in archways.

The sun was just starting to set, giving a warm golden glow over the wedding scene and making Loki glow in his royal Asgardian suit that he wore with Frigga.

I wish she were here...

We finally reach the front podium, Tony sighing lightly as he turned to face me and kissed my forehead once more before reluctantly passing my hand over to Loki's. "I swear to god, if you hurt her Reindeer Games, I will hunt you down and kill you myself." Tony hisses and I give him a pointed look as I passed him my bouquet.

"Tony." I hiss lowly, looking up at Loki but he was staring at me the entire time making me blush.

"I swear to you Stark, I will never hurt her as long as I live." Loki mutters as he held me up the podium to stand in front of him. I watch Tony sigh happily, nodding at me before standing with the other groomsmen. The male avengers plus Ned were the groomsmen and all the avenger's women plus Pepper, Maria and MJ were my bridesmaids.

"Hi..." I whisper to Loki.

"Hello darling..." Loki whispered back, kissing both my hands before holding them tightly. "You are an ethereal beauty." I blush heavily, looking away but Loki holds my cheeks to stare into my eyes again. He looked at me so warmly and so full of love that I teared up again. "Don't cry my love." I lean my cheek in his palm, letting him feel how happy I was at this moment as the gems on my harness glowed a bright red and green.

"I should be saying that to you." Loki chuckles lightly, going back to hold my hands again as he was ready to say his vows.

"(y/f/n), the love of my life," I hear someone cheer in the background and I snort lightly. "My light in the dark world that I used to live in. You have brought me so much happiness in this dreary world, given me reasons to be happy and you are one of those reasons that have made me see how beautiful life truly is." I take in a shaky breath, trying to hold back my tears from ruining my makeup.

"You fell from the sky like a shooting star, a woman that was so strange to me at first but now I realise that this universe had brought you to me. I was filled with hatred and envy and even from our first interaction, you had shown me endless love. Shown me your caring nature and how proud you were of me. You loved me in my darkest times and you love me even now. I don't know why you love me, I don't know why you think I deserve it but I'm so happy to have you in my life even so." Loki takes the ring from the pillow Peter was holding, sliding it onto my finger.

"I pray that I can be your reason of happiness like you are to me." He kisses my hand, holding it tightly.

"How am I going to match that man." Loki chuckles lightly as everyone joins in. "Loki, I have to be honest with you," There was slight worry in his eyes but I smile at him and he eases softly. "I have loved you for far longer than that night you found me in Asgard and treated me until I was awake. I had loved you for years when I was in my other universe, loved you through the screen." Loki's eyes widen at my confession. "I saw you and I instantly knew that you deserved to be loved, knew the heartache and pain you constantly were in and I prayed every night to be able to rid you of that pain. I prayed that I could see you finally be happy, be happy with your brother and have the sun shine on you both again." I smile at Thor and he bursts out crying into Bruce's shoulder as he awkwardly pats his shoulder.

"I was selfish and all I wanted was for you to be happy and I took that chance to shower you with love the moment I dropped into your universe. What I didn't realise would happen is you loving me the very same way including everyone here. I-" I take in a deep breath and Loki gently raises my head, brushing my hair back. "I was so alone in my universe, in so much pain and misery that I couldn't live a normal life and here you are, fulfilling every single dream of mine and showing me that I could love myself. You have given me so many reasons to live Loki and I couldn't thank you enough for that, thank you enough for actually loving me." I take the ring from the pillow and slip it onto Loki's finger.

"I promise you that I will make sure you are always happy, that no one here will ever suffer again." Loki just cried and I wipe his tears away. I could hear sniffling and I look over to see everyone else in tears, including the pastor that was marrying us.

"Hurry up and kiss already!" I hear Tony yell out and the Pastor clears his throat.

"Do you, (y/f/n), take Prince Loki Laufeyson to be your husband." I look at Loki in surprise that he was taking his birth name and I realise that he had accepted that part of him, wanting to finally share that part of his life with me.

"I do."

"And do you, Loki Laufeyson, take (y/f/n) to be your wife and Princess of Laufeyson."

"I do."

"And with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may-" I gasp lightly as Loki suddenly pulls me close by my waist, slamming his lips onto mine and kissing me deeply. My eyes flutter close as I pull him close, my arms wrapped around his neck as he held my face and poured all his love into the kiss as he tilted his head to deepen it. I feel a surge of magic flow through both of us before hearing fireworks that signalled the new year and the loud cheering.

I love you so much (y/n) Laufeyson.

I love you too Loki Laufeyson.

I pant lightly, realising that I could hear Loki in my mind and I look at him in surprise as he smiles at me.

We are finally connected as one my queen.

I look down at the hand Loki was holding, our rings glowing a bright green as vines of power surrounded us and linked us together through our hearts. "You always do keep surprising me." I chuckle lightly, Loki using his magic to suddenly change the scenery for the reception party.

I watch in amazement, standing back in surprise as I started glowing like I was having a Barbie transformation. My body showered in green glitter, moving down my body as my hair was styled down with flowers braided into it and my dress changed into a soft off the shoulder mint green floral gown.

I look over to see Loki wearing a white suit, his hair tied up in a half bun as curls framed his face. "My beautiful wife." He mutters softly, leaning down to kiss me again and I feel sparks flow through my veins.

"My handsome husband." I sigh happily against his lips as Loki leans back, looking at me in adoration while the reception party was in full swing. I chuckle as I saw the golden trio dance together in a circle, signalling me over to join them. Loki happily lets me go so I could dance with them, spinning in a circle before moving over to dance with Lila and Cooper. I look over at Loki as he stared at me like I was his world and I beam at him before my attention was taken away as each male avenger took turns to waltz with me.

Someone had announced the father and daughter dance and I look up at Tony as he held his hand to me, pulling me to the middle of the dance floor to waltz together. "I know that I could never be your father by blood but I hope you still see me as one because, to be frank, I care about you as my own. Pepper too and we thought maybe the best wedding gift was to adopt you, give you an actual place in this world as an existing person." I look at Tony in absolute shock before jumping into his arms, hugging him tightly as I cried.

"Thank you! Thank you so much Tony!" He pets my hair gently as he held me.

"You know I love you kid. You and Peter both. You both mean the world to me." Tony lets me hold him through the dance, reluctantly letting me go as Loki asked if he could dance with me.

"(y/n) Laufeyson, may I have this dance?" Loki asks and I recognise the song that was playing. It was the song I sang Nathaniel to sleep to when he was crying.

"Of course." I smile at him and he pulls me into his arms, singing the words softly to me.

"'Cause I'm in a field of dandelions, wishing on every one that you'll be mine, mine."

Loki spins me around gracefully before pulling me back into his arms, staring deeply into my eyes.

"And I see forever in your eyes, I feel okay when I see you smile, smile."

He leans his forehead on mine, wrapping his arms around my waist as I place mine on his chest.

"Wishing on dandelions all of the time, praying to God that one day you'll be mine."

"Wishing on dandelions all of the time, all of the time." We mumble the words together, staring at each other.

"I have one more surprise for you." Loki mutters giddily and I blink at him in surprise. I let him take hold of my hand and I pick up my dress as he guides me out to a more open area of the forest, the ground littered with glowing lanterns that were tethered down. I gasp in realisation as everyone joins us and takes hold of one lantern each, setting it free to let it go flying into the darkening sky.

"The flying lanterns... You actually got them..." Loki stands behind me and brings his arms around me to hold a lantern in front of me.

"Make a wish my queen." I beam up at him at how much he was spoiling me, turning back around to hold the lantern with Loki. "I'll promise not to read your thoughts." He kisses my head and I look around to see how happy everyone was and I swore to myself that I would keep these people happy.

Even if I have to sacrifice myself...

I nod, letting go of the Lantern with Loki and watched it flutter up high into the sky to join the others, Loki holding me tightly in his arms as he kissed my head. "You are an indispensable love of my life (y/n)." I turn around in Loki's arms as he leaned his forehead on mine. "I love you."

"I love you too Loki." I smile up at him, leaning up to kiss him.
