"This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, against all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?"

"Well, like the old man said." Tony starts, looking at Steve. "Together." Hulk roars out, signally for our battle to begin as the horde of bots start charging towards us. I steady myself, getting ready and I hover above the ground as my body crackled.

Together.

I growl out and send a blast of energy through the bots as the avengers fight off the surrounding hord with their own abilities, making sure no one gets close to the enclosed core in the dome. The famous cinematic scene continues as I wash the area with my powers with a blast of white, electrocuting most of the bots but they just get replaced by more or them. I wrap my arms with sharp metal that bends into a sharp spear and I fly around, ripping the bodies of the bots.

"Shit!" I grunt as Ultron punches me in the gut and I stumble back, kicking him away before he could land a hit on me again. I crouch on the wall behind me and jump forward to punch Ultron but he grabs my arms in his, sneering at me.

"Don't fight me (y/n). Join me." I grit my teeth as pain ripple up my arms, hearing the cracks when Ultron grips onto me tighter. "We are both kin, connected in ways that you do not understand."

"We are not kin." I hiss out, letting my powers bubble in my arms.

"That is where you are wrong. I can show you why you came to this universe." I falter, looking at Ultron in surprise and his grip loosens. "All you need to do is switch sides." Time slows down and I look around as the avengers struggled to fight off the growing hord of metal.

"I'm not betraying my family." I hiss out and Ultron growls but gasps in shock as I blast him away with my arms. I scream out and send a surge of power as he flies to the ground. Vision, Thor and Tony joined me, sending their own powers to rip through Ultron. We all pause as Ultron crumbles to the floor, slowly getting up on his feet.

"You know, with the benefit of hindsight-" I wince as Hulk stomps in and hits Ultron, sending him flying through the air like Team Rocket.

"We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin." Steve gives everyone orders and I fly off to where the lifeboats were, waiting for the others.

"What's your plan for the weekend?" Clint asks as he walks up to me as I look around the air for Ultron.

"Sleep honestly. The only time I'm getting rest is when I'm knocked out." Clint laughs, ruffling my hair when a woman starts crying about her missing son. "Wait-" Clint runs off before I could stop him and I hear the gunshots being fired by Ultron as he flies over us.

Pietro!

Screw keeping the timeline!

I growl and fly up, raising my arms to control the bullets as Ultron kept firing at me. "He won't die under my watch." I hiss out, stopping the bullets and they freeze in the air, melting like rain as the metal dripped to the ground.

"Don't be so sure (y/n)." Ultron growls, his eyes flashing red.

"NO!" I quickly turn around as Steve yells out below me and I see a stray bot crawl out from the ground, aiming towards Pietro and shooting him.

"PIETRO!" I yell out as he looks down at the hole in his chest.

"You didn't see that coming." Ultron steals Pietros line and I scream as I pick up the bot to rip it into pieces. "No matter what you do, you won't be able to save anyone (y/n)." Ultron flies off and I fly to the ground next to Pietro, hands shaking.

"Pietro..." I whimpered, lowering my hand on his chest hoping to feel some sort of life in him but his heart had stopped beating.

You can't save anyone.

Frigga.

Pietro.

Tony.

Natasha.

Gamora.

Vision.

Loki.

"Loki..." the world numbs around me as white noise just filled my head. I watched as Steve picked up Pietro's body and Clint picked up the boy.

You won't save anyone.

The sky darkened around me as someone shook my shoulder to break me out of my trance but they jolted away. "Guys, there's something wrong with (y/n)!"

You only hurt people.

My body felt numb as darkness crept up my limbs like a disease, like a parasite that consumed my powers. "She's not responding!"

You will always hurt people.

The negative thoughts clouded my mind and I let myself get swallowed in its self-destruction as the darkness seeped into the cracked streaks of my skin and poisoned me from the inside out.

"I'm a murderer."

The words spill from my lips as I look up to see Steve look at me with wide eyes. "We need to help (y/n)! She's turned!"

"I'm a murderer."

The black ink consumed my whole body, turning my suit black as it spilled from my eyes and I slowly stand up. "(y/n)! Snap out of it! We need to move-" the sound of engines rip through the air and the hunk of rock starts falling. I lift up Steve and throw him into one of the lifeboats as it flies off, ripping open a tunnel beneath me and I fly through it to reach the bottom.

"(y/n)!?" Tony hisses out, sending a blast of energy from his reactor against one end of the core and instructing Thor to the same in the church as he blasts lightning against it. I fly down further in the air and rip Tony away from the blast as the chunk of earth explodes, but it doesn't break up Sokovia into pieces like planned.

"Stark! It didn't work!" Thor flies towards Tony but he was trying to reach me as I send out a dark barrier beneath the Sokovia and them.

"(y/n)! Don't do it! You'll be crushed!" Tony screams out but I block both men in a dome as the barrier surrounds Sokovia. "You'll die!"

If it's to save everyone...

I plant my feet beneath a dark energy shield below me and I scream out as I hold the weight of the village that flew down to the earth, pushing me down along with it. "(Y/N)!" I shriek in agony as my body crushes beneath the village but I push through, the sky darkening as it was swallowed by the darkness. My powers burst from around me and ripped through the chunk of earth as my skin split and burned.

"YOU'LL KILL YOURSELF!" My eyes flash dark and I lift the village higher, pushing it up away from the earth and pushing against the engines that malfunctioned and shattered through the village. I let out an ear-piercing howl as darkness burst from my body in a large explosion, spinning around the village as it finally shattered and broke into pieces. I heave as blood spilled from the splinters and cracks in my skin flying up amongst the boulder and debris of the village.

My mind numbed and I let my powers spill out from my body in dark waves, seeping out to swallow the broken village as it spun around in me in a tornado.

"Lady (y/n)!" I look over at Thor who tried to enter the tornado but was shocked by the darkness. "Come back please!" He begs and Tony flies next to him.

"Kid! We're done! The battle is done!" the tornado turned dark, swallowing me in a dome as it disintegrated the broken village into dust. I hear people screaming out for me as the dome got smaller and I watch my body slowly turn into dust.

Pain. It was just pain that I could feel as I watched the deaths of everyone flash by my eyes. "They all die because of me."

"Not because of you (y/n)." I look up and I see Vision fly towards me through the dome. "This is not your fault." Vision holds my face and I see myself turn back to normal in his eyes, tears running down my face.

"I can't save anyone..." I wept and I notice his stone was glowing, a surge of warmth spreading through me.

"You don't need to bear this burden alone (y/n)." I look around the dome and I see short videos of the happy moments with the avengers I remember watching from the film and a smile graces my lips. "We are kin (y/n). You do not need to go through this alone." Vision leans back and holds my hands that weren't dust anymore.

"What-" I gape at the glowing stones on the back of my hands, one white and one black as they glowed brightly. I hissed and closed my eyes from the sudden blinding light. It grew bigger and brighter and I slowly open my eyes to see white beams of light erupting from the streaks in my skin.

"You were chosen for a reason." Vision says as the light burned holes into the dark dome and I scream out in pain as the darkness bled through my cracked skin, a sudden explosion of light erupting from my body. Time slows down at the light dissolving the dark away and bursting apart the darkness, glowing specs falling around me when I finally see the blue sky.

"Lady (y/n)!" I lose the breath in my lungs when Thor suddenly swamps me, hugging me tight and unknowingly crushing my bones.

"You're crushing her!" Tony pulls me away from Thor and I heave in, desperate for air. "That was quite a scare you gave us kid." Tony scolds me and I look over at Vision.

"Don't let your powers consume you, take control of them and your emotions. Learn to control both sides (y/n)." Vision says and I watch as he flies away.

I slowly enter the dark sterilised room with a single coffin sitting on a table in the room beneath a single light. I walk up to it, looking at the face that looked at ease and in peace. My left arm glowed a bright white, the white stone on the back of my left hand gone just as the black stone was gone from my right.

I let the white flames flick around my fingers, slowly resting them against the unmoving chest. I watch my power trickle across the body, the room glowing brightly as the hole healed up beneath my fingers.

There it is.

I feel the thump of a heart beat beneath my hand, getting steady and growing in speed as colour flushed against his skin as he suddenly sits up and gasps for air. "(y/n)? How-I thought I had died." I look at my hand, watching my powers flicker away.

"I couldn't let you die. Plus your sister misses you a lot, Pietro."
