"How are you feeling?" Tony asks me and I stretch as I can finally move my arms and legs.

"So much better now." I stand up, cracking my joints and Tony and Rhodey grimace at the sounds.

"What exactly were you doing back there?" Rhodey asks me and I raise a brow at Tony.

"You haven't told him yet?"

"Tell me what?" I sigh and summon my powers to wash over me and I hover off the floor of the moving boat. Rhodey gapes as he just stares at me. "Ok, you have powers. Noted." I gently drop back down on my feet and I let the boys talk about the plan as we move across the ocean in the boat. Tony get news about the president being under attack and he sends his suit to go help while controlling it from the boat. I walk outside on the deck, seeing the plane over us as an explosion bursts from the rear end.

"(y/n), we got some flying monkeys here. Mind catching them?" I nod as Tony calls out to me and I let my body glow as I raise my hands. I focus on the falling people, creating a dome around them and hurdling them together to gently bring them back down on land. They cheer as we pass them on the boat. "Great job-" Tony yells out and I turn around to see him flinch and I know that the suit disassembled as a truck went through it on the highway.

"Why didn't you have her on the team 6 months ago?" Rhodey asks.

"Cause she's not meant to be a part of the avengers." Tony says.

"But she's better than all of you combined!"

"I did fix New York city in one night." I shrug, smirking at the guys and Rhodey points at me.

"See!"

"Ok ok, whatever."

"So what's the game plan, Tony." I ask and we all sit down.

I follow Tony and Rhodey as we creep onto the deck of some ships, quickly hiding behind some crates. They hold their guns and climb over some platforms as I follow behind them.

"Tell me again why she's dressed like some assassin?" Rhodey whispers.

"It's just her getup. I think it looks cool." I hi-five Tony as he compliments my uniform. Rhodey and Tony talk and I peak up to see the President in the War Machine suit while being hung up like a puppet.

"Can't she just knock everyone out?" Rhodey asks and I look at him.

"I can. I can make everyone unconscious but I can't do that cause that's not what happens in the film. I can follow you but I cannot change things too drastically." Rhodey sighs out, not surprised since I explained to him who I was on the boat.

"This whole thing would've been over in half a minute." Rhodey whisper yells and I shrug.

"I know but I won't do it." He sighs as I follow the guys up some stairs. "Ok, some guys are going to be above you, keep an eye out."

"Woah, what are you doing!? what is she doing!?" Rhodey freaks out as I cover all over us with a proactive shield, lightning glowing dimly across my arms.

"Protecting our asses." Tony says and gunshots ring out. We quickly hide and Tony and Rhodey start arguing which diverts to Rhodey wishing he had his suit.

"Your wish is granted." I chuckle as I point out to the multiple lights coming our way. "My guy made around 40 damn suits so there you go." I wave my arms out to present them.

"You made 40 of these!?" Rhodey exclaims and Tony shrugs like it was nothing. "Tony!? You made 40!? You!? One man!? Are you nuts!?"

"Yeah, he is." I chuckle and Tony glares at me. "Ok enough chitchatting, go fight." I shoo the boys away and I fly up into the air to hover crossed legged as I watch everyone fighting. "This is much cooler to watch in person." I create a dome around me to lay on as I watch everything below me. There were people shooting at me but it was nothing the forcefield couldn't handle as they bounced right off.

Would be cool to have some popcorn right now.

I know that the fight was over when the suits explode around me and I fly down to the ground to where Tony and Pepper were hugging. "Pepper!" She gasps as I land and I run up to her. She hugs me tight and spins me around before setting me back down on my feet.

"Omg (y/n) are you ok? Are you hurt? Did Killian do anything to you?" Pepper fusses over me and I chuckle, holding her hands.

"I'm perfectly fine. Are you ok?" SHe sighs out, smiling towards Tony.

"I am now."

"Great, let's go! I'm really looking to go sleep in a proper bed now." Tony chuckles and drapes an arm around my shoulders as we walk off with Rhodey joining us.

"Did you really just watch us from above in that glowing bubble of yours?" Rhodey raises a brow at me and I grin, nodding.

"Of course. No one dies here so there was no point of me interfering."

"Right, right. Of course." Rhodey rolls his eyes at me.

I was chilling in my new bedroom, going through the videos that I managed to take during this film. I was piling them up so I could remember them and to leave some sort of evidence that I was here. I chuckle as I watch a video of myself levitating Pepper as she asked me so she could take put some paintings up in the new house.

The first few weeks were a bit chaotic as Tony decided to get the shrapnel out and he helped Pepper get rid of EXTREMIS in her before setting up the new house they got. Tony let me decorate my room as I wanted, easily changing the colour and design of the walls with my powers. Pepper loved house decorating with me and I didn't mind helping her seeing as it made moving things around easier with my powers.

Pepper and Tony were extremely hospitable with me, being so kind to let me stay with them and going as far as almost act like parents over me. Pepper took some time off from the company and all three of us went vacationing to different areas and help me complete my list.

"What are you up to kid?" I look up to see Tony leaning against the doorway again and I grin up at him.

"Nothing much, just going through some videos." I show Tony a clip that was playing of me beating him in the race to the steak house pub. "See, I did beat you." I smirk and he rolls his eyes.

"Ok yeah, you got me. You won." Tony sits down next to me and watches some videos that I took and Pepper soon joins us.

"Why does it look like everything is packed up in here?" Pepper speaks up and I pause the video.

"It's better for me to have only a few belongings since I don't know when I'm going to disappear." I shrug and Pepper frowns.

"You will always have a place here waiting for you when you come back."

If I come back...

I pause the video and I turn around to face Pepper and Tony. "Whats wrong?" Tony asks and I sigh.

"I wanted to thank you, for giving me a place to stay here."

"Of course sweetheart." Pepper coos and I smile at her.

"It's just, I'm surprised that you would even give me a place to stay. I mean, I'm some stranger that you hardly know. I come from an alternate universe but here you are, being so kind to me." Pepper pulls me close and hugs me as Tony ruffles my hair.

"We love having you here kid. Plus you've done so much for us already." Tony smiles at me.

"I'm grateful for you both ya know."

"We are too (y/n)." Pepper smiles down at me as I lean back but she gasps as I suddenly flicker from view.

"Kid, what's happening to you?" Tony was kinda freaking out and I sigh sadly, quickly packing up my back and slinging it over my back as I stand up.

"It's time for me to say goodbye I guess."

"Heading for another film I'm guessing." Tony asks and I nod, my power washing over me as I change into my assassin suit. The edges were much darker, like vines creeping up the fabric but overall it was still white.

"Thank you both for everything. And for looking after me too." I smile sadly at the two adults and they wave goodbye to me as I feel that tugging feeling again.

"Stay safe kid." Tony says and I nod, waving goodbye as darkness envelops around my vision as I fall back into the abyss.
