"(y/n), wake up. Come on, wake up!" I groan, shivering violently as I come to.

"C-cold..." my teeth chatter and my body curls into itself trying to get warm.

"You're going to freeze to death!" I get shaken and I open my eyes to see Tony kneeling beside me with a frantic look on his face. I was extremely cold, feeling my clothes freeze up on my skin, almost as if it was burning me. I hiss as I feel pain around my body like I crashed and broke through trees or something thick for some reason.

"T-Tony..." He helps me sit up, cursing lowly.

"Fuck, you're all wet and this weather is not good for you." I look around and see that we were in a forest beside a highway, snow trickling down as the night sky blanketed over us. "You're turning blue." Tony sucks in a breath and I look down at my shaking hands to see the skin turn pale with a twinge of lazuli.

Oh fuck.

I wish Loki was here to warm me up...

I grunt lowly, trying to summon my powers but a sharp burst of pain shocks through my body as if the cold was blocking off any sort of feeling. "We need to move."

"Can't f-feel-" I realise I was numb all over and I wonder how long we had been unconscious for.

"We can't stay here (y/n)!"

I know!

I fist my hands, trying again to summon my powers and I push through the burning feeling as faint streaks light up my arms. "Come on..." I hiss out, feeling a burst of pain erupt across my nerves like pins and needles stabbing me over and over as a flickering and weak dome surrounds us. I focus on changing the temperature in the dome, making it warmer.

"Oh, that feels so much better." Tony sighs out from the warmth and I sigh in relief, getting feeling in my limbs.

"Finally." I sigh out, the pain subsiding as a wash of magic travels over me and Tony to dry our clothes off.

"You're my favourite superkid yet."

"I'm the only one you've met so far." Tony chuckles out and I sag on my knees as I feel bliss as I summon warm winds to blow over us

"We're in Tennessee."

"I know. We need to get out of this snow. I don't know how long I can keep this forcefield up for." Tony nods and helps me up as I stumble on my feet.

"Easy there." I kick my foot on the floor, trying to get rid of the pins and needles feeling so I could walk.

"Do you know which way we are heading?" Tony nods and I raise my hand to lift the suit as a shiny white blanket covers the surface so I could levitate it.

"Are you sure you're ok? You're pretty beat up and you're using your powers at the same time." Tony looks at me with worry as we started walking alongside the road. I ignore the blood trickling from multiple wounds and I nod.

"I'll be fine as long as we get somewhere warm." Being in the warm dome made the journey so much easier as I carried Tony's suit and we tell each other stories of our lives.

"You mean to tell me, that you actually like Reindeer Games!?" I quickly shut my mouth as I accidentally spill about how he makes me feel and Tony looks at me like I'm fucking nuts. "The mass murderer!?"

"I can't help falling for him what can I say?" I shrug and Tony just gapes at me.

"The bad guy!? Your type are the bad guys!?"

"Stop judging me!" I huff out as Tony facepalms. "And stop acting like a disappointed dad."

"Well, I can't help feeling like one when you like the enemy." I roll my eyes and I kick Tony out of the dome, only having it surround me. "Hey!" I chuckle as Tony bounces off the forcefield when he tries to get in. "I'm sorry! Let me back in! It's freezing!" I take a few minutes to think and I let Tony back in the dome as it expands around us.

"Plus he's not all bad. He's a cute softie."

"Oh my god, you're defending him now!? You really like him!" I blush red, looking away in embarrassment.

"Why am I talking to you about this?"

"Honey, there's nothing else we can do-shit." Tony's eyes widen and I suddenly feel something drip from my nose and down my arms. "You're bleeding!" I wipe my nose to see that blood was trickling out and I blink at my arms as blood trickled out from the lightning streaks in my skin as they glowed white. "You've been using your powers for too long!"

"We have been walking for hours now." I shrug like it was nothing and Tony just panics.

"Then stop!"

"I can't, we'll be freezing our asses off out here!" Tony grumbles as I don't listen to him and he looks around, noticing something in the distance.

"A gas station!" I hiss in pain as Tony grabs my arm and he quickly apologises. "Hold onto me." I hold his arm gently and we run to the station to see it was already closed. "Lower it." I do as Tony asks and I lower the forcefield, instantly freezing against the cold wind. He throws the woollen poncho at me to wear.

"What about you-" I purse my lips as he gives me a pointed look and I carefully put it on, hissing as my wounds come in contact with the poncho. I drop the suit in a large mess next to me as I sit my back against the wall, sliding down to the floor as I curled into a ball. Tony was hijacking a local telephone booth to get a message to Pepper as I was feeling exhausted from the loss of blood.

Tony...

"Oi stay awake!" I look at Tony weekly as he holds my face.

"Tired..."

"I know you are but you cannot fall asleep under any circumstance!" Tony suddenly turns around and lifts me up on his back, dragging his suit behind me as he carried me on his back.

"Warm..." I sigh against Tony's neck as my arms hung loosely around his neck, carrying us to some random house.

"Don't close your eyes (y/n)!" I don't know how he does it but Tony manages to knock down a shed door with me on his back and dragging his suit at the same time. He gently places me down on a couch before dragging his suit further into the shed and closing the door. It was so much warmer in here than it was outside.

"Tony..." I look at him as he takes the poncho off, looking around for some cloth and water to clean off my wounds. He manages to find some, cleaning my arms before covering me up with a blanket since I was shivering like crazy.

"Just stay awake ok. I need to make sure your body doesn't shut down."

"I hate this... It's the hospital all over again." I sniffle angrily as I couldn't feel my arms again, feeling absolutely pathetic as I cried like a weakling. "I hate it."

"I know..." I sit in silence as Tony talks to me about random subjects, fixing his arm with the micro repeaters and I just watched and listened.

I don't know how much time goes by but as I was about to close my eyes, the shed door opens and I look over to see Harley standing by with a makeshift gun. "Freeze!" I watch silently as the kid interacts with Tony and I chuckle as he just rips a finger off.

"Who are you?" The kid looks at me and I notice a soft blush on his cheeks as I smile at him weakly.

"My daughter." I give Tony a confused look when he cuts me off before I could speak and he shrugs. "And she needs help bad." The kid walks over to me and takes my blanket off like the curious child he was.

"You're bleeding!"

"Yeah..." I flinch as he touches my arm.

"Don't touch her!" Tony yells out and the kid jumps back.

"Sorry!"

"I need you to grab a few things which are very important ok. We need to fix her and keep her awake." The kid nods dutifully and goes off to get Tony the things he needs after listing them off one by one.

"Your daughter? Really?"

"Makes sense. You look like the right age."

"I'm 20. That would mean you had me when you were 22." I chuckle as Tony freezes. "Damn son, you were a baby daddy during university. Being real busy besides school work." Tony glares at me and the kid comes back with the items.

"Before I give this to you, what's in it for me?" Tony bargains with the kid and he accepts the gadget that would ward off his bullies, coming over to me to help me clean up my wounds after giving Tony his stuff.

"Hi there." I smile at the boy and he blushes. "What's your name?"

"Harley..."

"That's a cool name. I'm (y/n)."

"You're very pretty." I look at Harley in surprise, seeing Tony raise a brow at me from behind the kid.

Wait, does this kid like me or just being nice for the sake of it!?
