(y/n) - your name

"Oh, this might be a mistake..." I gulp as I stood outside the large pub, shivering slightly as it snowed softly outside. I could hear the ruckus of laughs and loud chatter filtering out as I walked into the building. I sigh in relief that it was much warmer inside, unsure of what to do as I stood by the entryway.
"Lady (y/n). You came." Thor smiled from the table once he spotted me and I wave shyly. He got up and came to get me, leading me to the table with his friends who beamed at me.
"It's Thor's mystery friend from before!" one of them downs the last bit of ale before asking another and handing it to me.
"The angel that had saved me from Jotunheim has finally graced me with her presence once more." I blush as Fandral took my hand and kissed the back of it.
"I would appreciate it if you did not try to use your charms to lead Lady (y/n) to warm your bed." Thor glared lightly at Fandral as he lead me to sit down next to him.
"Hi everyone."
"She is a shy little thing." One of Thor's other friend's coos lightly and I just shrink in my seat.
"Do not tease her Hogun."
"Here." Sif passes me a plate of food and a drink and I thank her, eating and listening to the warrior's many interesting stories. It came to the point where I felt like I shouldn't be here since I had nothing to talk about with the warriors and I excused myself to head to the bathroom but I wasn't. I snuck out of the pub, sighing out as I walked down the pathway. It was chilly but nothing I couldn't change as I warped the air around me to be a tad warmer as my feet left tracks in the snow below me.
I felt calm beneath the night sky, keeping my head up as I watched the stars above me. I reached the palace easily, wandering out and looking for the door that lead down to the dungeons. I finally found it and walked down the stairs, sneaking past the guards who were playing poker. I shudder as the prisoners in the cells wolf whistle at me, flipping them off as I head for Loki's cell.
I finally find his cell, seeing him pacing around the place and I was unsure whether he was pacing because he was worried or pacing because he was caught. "I'm surprised that you're not reading at this moment." I chuckle as Loki jumps in fright, turning around to look at me and his stance softens like his worry melted, like he knew I was finally safe. His eyes widen as I use my powers to split the electrical wall apart so I would enter his cell. "What?" I look up as I sat on his couch, the tips of his ears a soft pink.
"What are you doing here? And dressed like that?" Loki raises his brow, a slight glint in his eyes as he eyes me up and down.
I was wearing a long dress that was a beautiful pastel green, mainly made of chiffon lace layers that made it feel weightless and free-flowing. It was a more simple green gown with gold trimmings, the corset beaded with green and gold vines that travelled over to my arms and onto the sleeves up to my elbow. Past my elbow, the sleeves changed into lace that trailed past my arms to the floor along with my dress.
"Does it look bad?" Loki quickly shakes his head.
"On the contrary actually, it's a beautiful piece." I blush, thanking him.
"Thor invited me to a celebration at a pub. Probably for his recent victory with winning a war."
"And why are you not there?"
"I didn't want to be there anymore. I didn't know anyone." I shrug and Loki nods slowly at the answer before falling into silence. "So what did you do today?" Loki gives me an 'are you kidding me?' look and I shrug, not knowing what else to ask.
"If you want to know, I spent the day reading." I nod, seeing the stacks of books Frigga must have sent to him since she couldn't see him personally. I pat the seat next to me and Loki looks at me before sitting down. "What is it-" he sucks in a breath as I gently grab his cheeks, checking his eyes.
They're mostly green. Good.
"Nothing, don't worry." I let Loki go and he blinks at me as I stretched and yawned on the couch.
"Do not fall asleep in here. I do not want to wake up with your annoying self in the morning." I nod, going through my phone. "That was not an invitation to stay here otherwise. Go back to your room."
"I don't want to." I mumble out.
"Any why is that?" Loki rolls his eyes at me as I watch the video I caught with Thor in it.
"It's lonely in there." Loki immediately shuts up, sighing out.
"Fine, I will allow you to stay here." I beam at Loki and settle back on the couch, letting him watch some of my videos on my phone since he was fascinated by the device. I slowly explained the different uses of a phone, letting him watch clips on my phone and I leaned on his shoulder. I don't realise I was falling asleep on Loki until I see darkness.
I hum lightly as I slowly wake up, snuggling beneath the blankets against something warm. I feel someone run their fingers through my hair gently and I open my eyes to see Loki sitting up next to me on the bed while reading his book.
Oh my fucking god, not again!
"Morning darling." I slowly lean back, my cheeks a bright red when I realise I was snuggling into his chest. "You're quite adorable when you sleep curled up. Like a little mouse." Loki coos, leaning down towards me.
"Back off dude." I grumble lowly, my voice croaky and Loki chuckles as I tried to fix my bedhead. "Did you even sleep?" I yawn out and Loki nods.
"Used you as a pillow actually. You're very warm." I freeze, my blush turning darker.
We slept on the same bed...
"Of course darling, where else." Loki purrs lowly and I glare at him.
"You need to stop doing that. Plus I could've slept on the couch." I huff in embarrassment, quickly getting up from the bed. My dress was crooked and twisted, trying to fix it and Loki gets up.
"The couch is not very comfortable to sleep on." I gasp as Loki tugs on my dress to turn it the right way around, me stumbling into his chest. I shudder as he runs his hands down my side, fixing the creases. "Perfect." I break out of my trance and quickly step back as Loki smirked at me.
"I, uh... I'm going to get going now." I point behind me, walking backwards and I gasp as my back collided against the electrical wall. Loki chuckles at my clumsy self as I split the wall so I could run through it and disappear down the hallway.
Jesus Christ, what is this dude playing at!?
I shake my head, going to my bedroom to freshen up for the day and changing into some hoodies and trackies. I was in the mood to just explore the palace, not caring what others thought I was wearing.
I was hanging out with Loki again in his cell, telling him about what I did today since there was nothing else to really talk about. I had gone out to do a bit of shopping and to look around the different stalls, telling him how his mother had joined me as she showed me a few tricks.
"I'm surprised your mother dared to scare the poor shopkeeper, but now I know where you get your mischief from." I chuckle, showing Loki the video of Frigga conjuring a snake that freaked out the citizens before it turned to mist and then into butterflies. "She amazing."
"She really is."
"Oh!" I turn around and grab my bag, pulling it onto my lap as Loki and I sat on his bed. "Your mum said that you have a sweet tooth, surprisingly." I grin as I take out the different sweets, vendor food and little trinkets that I thought were cute.
"You really went full out here." Loki sifts through and picks his favourites like a giddy child.
"I got you some extra books too." I take out a full stack and hand them to Loki, his eyes going wide. "I found the library here and it was huge! I got lost so quickly! I was worried I would never get out. I almost called Tony to get me out!"
"It's not that large." Loki sifts through the pages and I gape at him.
"It has three floors!" he looks at me briefly, chuckling. "But it is beautiful. I could stay by the fireplace and be wrapped up in a blanket while reading."
"You like to read as well?" Loki blinks at me in surprise and I nod, taking out a book myself to read as well.
"Love it. It was the only thing that I could do to pass the time at the hospital besides watching shows. Helped me imagine I wasn't in that room anymore, just stuck. I could escape through those books but I guess I don't need to anymore." I get up from the bed, stretching since I've been sitting down for too long. I ran my fingers through my hair, realising it was knotted when Frigga and I ran away.
"What are you looking for?" I was searching for a brush but of course, Loki didn't have one.
"Why do you not have a hairbrush?" Loki doesn't answer and I look for something plastic or wood related. I pick up the item and focus my powers on forming a hairbrush with the material, feeling proud that one was resting in my hand.
"Matter manipulation has its perks huh. Now come here." I kneel on the bed behind Loki and he hesitantly turns around.
"What are you doing?"
"Just relax you baby." I start brushing Loki's hair gently and he hums out blissfully.
"I am a king." Loki softly purrs, leaning back into my arms as I gently get rid of the knots in his hair.
"You need to wash your hair man." Loki hums and I tie up his hair with the hairband that was on my wrist.
"There. You look cute like this."
"I'm not cute." Loki pouts and I stick my tongue at him.
