"What are you doing here!?" I jump into my Loki's arms as he picks me up and holds me tight, spinning me around.
"Looking for you. You had the audacity to say that you love me after my confession and then prune yourself away. No, I do not accept that." I giggle as Loki playfully scolds me, leaning his forehead on mine.
"You know I would do anything to keep you safe." I twist Loki's own words against him and he sighs, shaking his head before kissing my nose.
"How dare you!" I quickly turn my head to see President Loki glare at me, eyes blazing. "You dare turn against your king!?"
"Well, I never turned against you. I'm just in love with my Loki and not you." Loki nuzzles his nose against my neck and that infuriates President Loki even more.
"And she is my (y/n)." Loki sneers, pulling me away from his other self and his goons.
"Enough! Now that bargain." One of the Lokis was holding what looked like Thors replica of his hammer against a child Loki, I'm guessing. Loki whispers to me everything that has happened to me quickly, bringing me up to date and I understand that this was some sort of betrayal.
"How about this one? My army, my throne?" President Loki quickly forgets about me and I was glad.
"About that."
"Why you beef-witted, half-faced scrubs! We had a deal!" I snicker behind my hand as President Loki's own goons turned against him.
"What goes around comes around huh." I whisper to Loki and he chuckles. We both slowly back away from the sudden chaos as a fight explodes out.
"Come on!" An old Loki pulls me and Loki as he brings up duplicates of us, avoiding the fight and walking through a green portal.
Rick and Morty much.
"Well, that was, something..." I stumble out with Loki, straightening my dress as he takes hold of my hand and we walk off.
The old Loki was complaining about how Loki's can't change. "We're broken, every version of us. Forever."
"And whenever one of us dares try to fix themselves, they're sent here to die." The child grumbles out as he held an alligator and I look at Loki who was frowning.
"Loki's can change." I speak up and both the old and young version turns around as I smile up at my Loki. "He's living proof." Loki beams down at me, brushing his fingers against my cheek and I don't flinch back unlike with President Loki. Instead, I lean into his touch.
"So this is the woman you talked about, the one you pruned yourself to save. To be honest, I thought you would be lying." The old Loki says as he smiled at me. "It is nice to meet you miss (y/n)."
"It's nice to meet you both too." I smile at the Loki's, the younger one blushing as he stared at me.
"How did you manage to get a girl like this? She's way out of your league." The kid says and I chuckle as Loki glares at him.
"To be honest, I thought he was out of my league." Loki blushes as I kiss his hand that was holding mine.
"If everything you told us was true, she is a keeper. Don't let her slip from your fingers again." the old Loki says.
"I don't plan to." Loki mumbles out. "And I don't plan to stay trapped here. We need to escape."
"And how do you plan to do just that. As you can see, it's next to impossible!" the kid exclaims.
"We have to try. We are Loki's and it is in our nature to survive. We can't just stop and not do anything." Loki gives his life-changing speech and the others nod, agreeing to help us.
"Okay, okay. We'll help you. But approaching Alioth is a death sentence. We'll get you to it, but that's as far as we go." The old Loki sighs out before starting our journey of walking to Alioth. Along the way, I was trying to conjure my powers. I should be rested enough to start using it, struggling for a bit to lift debris in the air.
"What is happening?" I mumble out, shaking my hands and trying again.
"You didn't tell us she had powers." The kid exclaims as I control little rocks to spin around in a circle, a tornado forming as more rocks get sucked in. I was playing around with my powers, forming little rock golems or melting metal from machinery around me to form tiny sculptures of people. I formed a metal sculpture of the kid, passing it to him.
"Are you sure you're not a Loki?" The old one asks and I shrug.
"Technically speaking, she did have Laufeyson as her last name and I am hoping she is willing to take it again." I look at Loki in surprise, bashfully looking at the ground.
"You two were married!?" the kid gasps and I nod, showing him the ring.
"Once upon a time you could say."
"You are the first of any Loki to have found his happy ending. I am almost envious." the old Loki smiles at my Loki as he squeezed my hand.
"Wanna make this trip a little shorter?" the kid quickly nods and I chuckle as the child-like wonder emanates from him. "Ok, get ready." I wink at him, lifting him up with my powers before moving around like he was flying.
"Holy shit!" The kid whoops in joy and I lift everyone up-including the alligator-as we hover over the floor.
"You're definitely my favourite." the kid beams at me and I ruffle his hair before we set off flying.
"So what's the plan." I ask as we fly through the air.
"Get inside, find its heart or brain or whatever, and then, you know, do it in." the kid was telling me the directions of where to go, the others arguing how bad the plan was. Even the alligator was apparently praying. I set everyone down on a hill as a giant portal opens in front of us, a big ass ship just dropping out of nowhere. We watch as Alioth easily consumes the ship and the people on it, decaying them away just like my powers do.
"Well..." I start off, blinking as the fog retreats to leave just the imprint of where the ship used to be.
"Maybe we, uh... think a bit more about this, huh?" The kid suddenly looks down at his device, saying that a car was coming.
"Is that bad?" Loki and I ask.
"Well, usually means cannibalistic marauders or cannibalistic pirates." The kid explains and I squint as I see the car stop near us, someone quickly getting out.
"MOBIUS!" I squeal out, flying straight for him and slamming into his body to hug him.
"Shit (y/n)!" both of us fall to the ground, Mobius grunting in pain but chuckling.
"How, why are you here?" I quickly lift us back on our feet as Mobius pats my head.
"Ravonna pruned me."
"So that's the bitches name." I hiss out and Mobius just laughs.
"I'm just glad to see that you're ok again. How did you get back to normal?"
"Ask Loki, he always brings me back." I grin at Loki as he runs next to me, gasping in relief to see Mobius.
"Thank you Loki."
"How did you..." I see Sylvie get out of the car and I wave at her as she sheepishly waves back.
"We thought you could do with some backup." She says and Loki and I smile.
"Well, Mobius and Sylvie, meet our new friends the Lokis." The old, young and alligator versions walk up to us.
"So you're all after the giant cloud monster, too, then?" Sylvie says and we nod.
"These idiots wanted to kill Alioth. A literal mass of just fog." I point to the Loki's behind me and they look offended.
"All right, well, what's your plan, then?" Loki asks as I lean into his chest, his arm around my shoulder.
"I think the person we're after is beyond The Void at the end of time. And if they are, that thing is just their guard dog protecting the only way in."
"Okay, so, um, how do we get past the guard dog?"
"I'm gonna enchant it."
"Alright, girl boss! Let's get it!" I hi-five Sylvie as she looks at me in confusion. "Seriously, the only Midgardian here to know that huh. You guys suck you know that..." I grumble out, following everyone to some shelter to rest for a bit.
