I walked out of the gateway, ending up in an agency as I followed Sylvie, the blonde woman in front of me. "Let's see what you got." She nods to the guards in front of us in the hallway just chatting away and not realising we were behind them. Sylvie takes a step behind me as I walk up to one of the guards, my claws sinking around their throat and ripping it out. The body falls with a thud and before the others would turn around, a dark matter sword plunges into someone else's stomach and ripping it up.

"Hey-wait-!" I look up at the rest of the guards, them stumbling back with their weapons poised at me. They all scream and run away but their bodies shrivel and decay as I pierce them with dark vines, snuffing out their lifeforce as the bodies drop dead.

"Not bad. Subtle but stealthy." Sylvie fought off the rest of the guards as I disposed of their bodies, swallowing them up in the dark fog that seeped across the floor in waves. I waited for her next instructions when I hear someone sneak up behind me.

"(Y/n)..." I turn around and see that it was the man from before but I had no given objection towards him from Sylvie. He frowned as he walked towards me, the fog splitting for him. "What has she done to you..." there was worry laced in his voice as he gently held my face and a shock of warmth spread through me. I don't know why but I lean into his hand, sensing familiarity from him. "That wench has gone too far." The man seethes and takes out his daggers, walking past me and towards Sylvie.

"How sweet, the prince came to save his damsel in distress." Sylvie mocks as she takes out her sword.

"You crossed the line when you took her from me!" the man charges at Sylvie as their weapons clash.

"Cover me!" Sylvie yells out at me but I was hesitant to hurt the man. "I said cover me!" I screech from the blinding pain in my head, unwillingly picking up the man with my powers and throwing him against the wall. He hisses in pain as he stands up, ready to swing his daggers at Sylvie again but my body unwillingly moves to block his path and I take the hit instead.

"(y/n)!" The man gasps in shock and stumbles back as I falter on my own feet, choking from the stab of pain. I look down at my hands to see blood spilling through my fingers as I clutched my stomach from the giant wound. "Shit!" the man catches my body as it crumbles to the floor, trying to stop the bleeding. I look up at him as he curses, feeling cared for by him. "You're going to be ok, you're going to be ok!"

"Hey!" a brunette woman and a horde of guards block our path and Sylvie points her sword at the man as he held me.

"Come any closer and I'll kill them both."

"Go for it." I didn't want anything to happen to the man and I grab the device from Sylvie's pocket, passing it to him and he opens up a gateway beneath us.

"Darling, wake up." I groan out, my head pounding and a numbing sensation clouding my limbs. "Please wake up." I open my eyes to see the man leaning over me, brushing my hair back as I sit up.

"Get up (y/n)." Sylvie says and I immediately get up, ignoring the burning pain and the blood seeping from my clothes.

"You let her go! She's injured and you're making her follow your orders!?" the man seethes, holding me up and pressing a hand against my wound.

"Oh, she's fine now-" Sylvie and the man gasp in surprise when a glowing rock breaks through the roof of some sort of abandoned building we were in and into the ground. "Where did you send us!?" We all stumble out to see that we were on a giant purple floating rock as pieces of another planet kept flying through the sky, colliding into the ground and creating craters. "You idiot! This is Lamentis 1!"

"I don't know what that means!" the man yells out as he held me, us running around to avoid the flying asteroids.

"Of all of the apocalypses saved on that TemPad, this is the worst!" We dodge the bullet-like asteroids, trying to look for cover. "Watch out!" Sylvie yells as I quickly throw up a shield over us and dive towards a random vehicle for a shelter. "There!" Sylvie points out to a caravan and we all run towards it. "Get down!" I look up to see a giant asteroid heading straight for us and I shove the other two towards the caravan as I take hold of the asteroid,  swinging it around me before throwing it at another asteroid. I gasp as I get pulled back, someone's magic pulling me into shelter.

"Now are you going to release your hold on her?" the man grits his teeth as I stand next to him.

"In this situation, I think not. She is my leverage over you and I know for a fact that you won't give up the Tempad unless I do."

"So we are at a stalemate because Loki's are untrustworthy-"

"-I told you not to call me that!" The two apparently Loki's glare at each other until Sylvie storms out, muttering about a power source for the Tempad. The man sighs before turning to me.

"Are you ok (y/n)?" I blink at him and he furrows his brows. "Your eyes are not your usual beautiful colour anymore..." He leans his forehead on mine, holding my hands. "You're still bleeding..." the man grumbles and suddenly picks me up bridal style, a sudden flutter in my heart as he carried me out of the caravan. I just stared at him with wide eyes, wondering why he was so sweet to me. He had my attention the entire time, focused on him and only him that I didn't realise we were on a train.

"Hey what are you doing-"

"-I need to get her medical attention. Where can I find the first aid kit?" the man cuts off a random train guard and he just points down the hallway. The man that carried me gently set me down on a bed, sifting around to find medical equipment. "Do you trust me?" the man asks as he turns back around to face me. There was nothing I could say and he sighs when I don't answer. He carefully removes the straps of my dark dress that decayed away my previous clothes, pulling down till he could see my wound and he sucks in a breath. "This might hurt a little love." I felt searing pain course through my body as the man cleaned my wound, stitching it up and wrapping gauze but my body stayed rigid as I was unable to express anything.

"You two hurry up!" I heard Sylvie yell out and the man helped me back on my feet after fixing my dress back on over my bare skin. He takes hold of my hand in his and took me down hallways to where Sylvie was. My heart fluttered as he squeezed my hand, his fingers entwined with mine as we sat in a booth next to each other with Sylvie in front of us.

Both Loki's talked about the commonality between them until the man lifted his hand that held mine. "Like turn a flower into a frog or cast fireworks over the water." He stared at his hand I held tightly, smiling softly at me as I just looked up at him and not wanting to let go. "You wanna see?" I blink, hesitantly letting go of the man's hand and I watch as teeny tiny fireworks burst from the palm of his hand. I was in awe at the magic like an excited child, touching the fireworks that tickled my skin as they exploded.

"It's strange. I've never met someone so dedicated to you." Sylvie says as the man entranced me with his magic, bringing random items from the air for me as I laid my head on his shoulder.

The man looks down at me with a soft look in his eyes as he held my cheek. "She has loved me in both timelines, giving up her life for me in one of them. I don't deserve her yet she loves me, someone, who used to bed men and women with no attachments."

"Talk about true love." Sylvie rolls her eyes, sitting back in her seat as she continued talking to the man next to me. Time flew by as the man progressively got more drunk on glasses of champagne and appetizers, singing with the other high-end rich people on the train. He suddenly shushes the people, singing a melody in another language I didn't recognise.

"I stormsvarte fjell, jeg vandrer alene. Over isbreen tar jeg meg frem,"

It sounded so familiar as if I had heard it before, the man sighing sadly before walking towards me.

"I eplehagen står møyen den vene. Og synger: 'når kommer du hjem?'"

The man sang sweetly as he held my cheek, sudden memories flashing before my eyes of him singing the lullaby to me and to a pair of children.

When will you come home?

"Bartons kids... Lila and Cooper..." I mumble out freezing as a torrid of memories swept through my mind, memories of the man before me.

"Loki?" I look up at him and his eyes widen. I could see the colour of my eyes drain away the green back to its normal colour in the reflection of his eyes, turning to look at Sylvie. "Let me go." I hiss out and she gasps as I grab her arms, my claws sinking into her skin. Sylvie's arms glowed a bright green that also flashes over my eyes, all my memories finally came back in one large wave.

"Shit!" Sylvie rips her arms from my grasp and I crumble back as my head split and pounded.

"(Y/n)!" I hear Loki gasp in worry as I blackout again.
