I panic as I see Tony fly past me with the missile, maneuvering it up to go through the portal. "I have to close the portal!?" Tony gets closer to the entrance and I get ready to do something. He goes through the entrance and I dive forward, flying through the shield around the tesseract and charging straight at the cube to rip it out from the machine.

I scream out in agony as its energy rips through me, splitting through my skin as I hovered in the air. I scream and scream, crying out as my powers and the cubes energy swarm around me like a growing storm.

"What's happening!?" I hear someone gasp out and I cry out as the cube burns through me, a glowing dome of light surrounding me and trapping me inside it. My powers burst out from my limbs, circling around me and growing with the cube's powers in a swirling storm that grew over New York. The wind around me whips at my hair and clothes, screaming as my skin cracks and peels away look wood.

"(y/n)!" I suddenly hear Loki and I look down at him, my skin bursting with white energy as it glowed. "(y/n)! Stop!" I don't know how he managed to break through the storm but I'm glad he did.

"I can't!" I cry out in pain, my body fizzing in and out of existence as I slowly merged with the cube.

"Listen to me." Loki comes closer to me and I get worried about hurting him but he hugs me. "You're going to be ok. I know you can do it." Loki looked at me and I saw how scared he was for me, holding onto my hands gently as he grits his teeth. He tries not to scream in pain from the cube's energy, helping me pry my hands off it and I howl in pain as it's ripped away.

The swirling storm of light spins around me dangerously, my body glowing brighter and brighter as I burned from the inside out. "Loki!" I gasp out in fear and I curl into a ball as I scream, the colliding energy piercing through my body and absorbing it.

"(y/n)!" I let out an ear-piercing scream from the blast erupting from my body, knocking me unconscious as I fall through the sky. Black dots flitter across my vision and the last thing I see is Loki catching me. "I got you..."

"Is she going to be ok?" I hear someone whisper over me as I come to, groaning at the pounding headache.

How many times am I going to pass out?

"Depends on how many times you use your powers recklessly." I open my eyes to see Loki purse his lips, answering my question as the others look at him strangely.

"Stop reading my thoughts." I croak out, rubbing my head and I notice that my body was glowing a faint green. Loki was using his powers to heal me as the avengers watched to make sure he didn't do any funny business.

"You took quite a hit." Tony says as he drinks his whiskey from the penthouse bar, a haunted look in his eyes from what he witnessed in space.

"You shouldn't have risked yourself like that." Bruce says and I sigh out.

"Natasha was supposed to close the portal, not me but she wasn't at the contraption. Nor was the sceptre. Both you and the sceptre weren't where you were supposed to be." Everyone looked concerned as I explained. "Everything is changing already!" I groan out, sitting up and feeling pissed about the whole situation. "I'm not supposed to be here!"

"Hey, calm down. Everything is going to be ok." Natasha gently places a hand on my shoulder.

"How can you be sure? I'm supposed to be dead!" I yell out, getting up from the couch and stomping off as everyone froze from my remark. I don't know why I was so mad, feeling so annoyed with everything and myself. I just wanted to punch something and I flinch as my fist goes through the wall. I was panting heavily, letting out a yell as I reach the rooftop. I sigh out, reeling back my frustrations as I ran my hands through my hair. I sit down on the rooftop, my legs dangling over the edge as the night continued on.

I flop back on my back, staring straight up at the sky as the stars twinkled over me until I hear footsteps and Bruce walking over to me. "Hey."

"Hey..." He shuffles on his feet, not knowing what to say. "I'm ok." I speak up at him and he nods hesitantly. I pat the floor next to me and he sits down. It was quiet for a few minutes, just me staring up at the sky. "Are you ok?" I ask and I turn my head to see Bruce bristle up.

"Yeah... why do you ask." I raise my hand and move my fingers so it looks like a gun, leaning it close to my mouth and Bruce understood.

"Look, I know that this is not something you want to talk about with anyone." I move my hand and I hold Bruce's hand. He looks down at me in surprise and squeezes my hand back, shuffling closer to me.

"It's peaceful here." Bruce mumbles out and I nod.

"If you want, just drag me up here whenever you want and we can spend the night."

"I wouldn't mind that." I look up and see Bruce smiling softly as he watched the stars. I close my eyes and take in a deep breath, finally feeling calm. Bruce pats my hand and I hear him stand up to leave the rooftop. "Don't stay out too late. It's getting cold."

I sit up on the roof, staring out at the aftermath of destruction. Buildings just smoking once fires have been put out, people looking for their loved ones, emergency services making sure they searched and attended to hurt survivors as they moved debris around.

There were faint cries as people mourned for those that didn't survive, others looking for precious items of the homes they had lost. I look at my hands that were etched in faint scars that started disappearing from Loki's help. I raise my hands, letting my powers crawl over my arms like gentle flames. I watch them dance and lick against my skin in the wind, rising over my fingers and steaming up. It didn't hurt, just a faint tingle as I wiggled my fingers.

I look over the destroyed New York city, lowering my hands as I watch my powers wash over the Stark building like a fog waterfall. The white fog danced and travelled through the New York streets, watching as buildings started repairing themselves. My arms started splitting again, streaks crawling up my arms as I felt the heat this time. I gasp lightly, feeling my body start glowing as skyscrapers, homes and streets start going back to how they were before the war. I could hear people murmur in confusion as their loved ones who didn't survive magically got better, my body hovering up as I focused on repairing the area and bringing people back to life.

The world around me glowed brightly as the magic washed over the whole expanse of the city, like the Borealis in touching distance. The last building finally rose up to reattach itself and the last precious family member rose up again to be with their loved ones. I let the blanket of magic rise up into the sky, combining together in a shining ball before dissipating in a soft explosion.

Speckles of magic floated down towards the earth like snow and I drop back down on my feet as my powers disappear. "That was truly a beautiful spectacle." I look behind me to see Loki watch the so-called snow fall all around us, raising his hand to catch some.

"Is it egotistical of me to say that I agree?" I chuckle as he stands next to me and I see people rejoice that everything was fixed.

"Are you alright?"

"Why is everyone asking me this? First Bruce and you?" I quirk a brow at Loki as he just looks at me with a worried look.

"Just want to make sure you are ok."

"I'm fine. I just needed to let off some steam I guess. I just got so mad all of a sudden." Loki shifts his arms a bit, like he wanted to do something and he shyly looks at me while raising them. I blush and lean into him, letting him hug me. I wrap my arms around his waist since the dude was way tall, nestling my head onto his chest.

"I think it is wise for us to go back inside." I nod, yawning out and I let Loki lead me back inside the building.
