(y/n) - your name

"Loki! I can't believe you-ugh!" I let out an exasperated sigh, stomping away to the main area where the agents were trying to start up their engines again. "How bad is it?" I ask Fury and he sneers.

"We're plummeting to the ground and quick." Everyone around me looked more panicked than ever and I knew Tony and Steve were already having trouble trying to get one of the engines to work again. I clench my jaw, sighing out.

I can't believe I'm going to try something.

I close my eyes and focus on myself, summoning my powers to wash over me as I hovered in the air. I fly towards the glass, letting it split away as I fly through. The glass closes behind me as I float in the air, the helecarrier burning and falling through the air as the wind howled around me.

"(Y/n)! What are you doing!?" I ignore Tony, flying beneath the helecarrier. I try to calm my rapid heartbeat, placing my hands on the surface of the airship as wisps of magic spread across the metal. I grunt out, feeling the weight of the helecarrier drop heavily on my shoulders as I struggle to hold it up.

"Don't do it (y/n)! You haven't tested your limits!" I hear Steve call out and I cry out as I lift the helecarrier up away from the earth, my powers creeping over the HQ until it was completely covered. My body burned as the lightning streaks fizzled and cracked across my skin, a white glowing mist surrounding the helecarrier as I lifted it higher and higher.

"(Y/n) stop!" Everyone begs me to stop but I know that it would end in disaster if I didn't, screaming out in agony like my body was aflame as a burst of white light surrounded me. There was a surge of waves pulsing from my body as I pushed myself to keep the helecarrier up in the air.

"Hurry up and fix the engines! I can't hold it up for long!" I scream out, feeling my powers start to swallow me up whole and I start to panic. I could feel my powers start to take over, my skin splitting apart as I struggled to keep it under control. The skies sudden darkened as if night came to swallow up the day, shrieking out as it felt like I was being ripped apart.

"Just hold on (y/n)! Few more seconds!" Tony yells out in a panic and I feel my vision darkening, slowly losing my consciousness. I tried to keep my eyes open, holding the airship steady but I had used too much of my powers in one go.

Stay awake!

I blink my eyes open but I could see black dots flying around my vision, the weight of the airship crushing me as I just burned. "Ok done!" I finally let go, the darkness in the sky disappearing instantly.

"Someone get (y/n)!" I don't know who called out as I weakly hovered in the air, my powers fizzing in and out until it completely disappeared and I fall through the sky.

"Tony..." I whimper, hearing him scream out for me as I see him above me and trying to catch me. I close my eyes, absolutely exhausted as the air rushed by me. I thought it was Tony that had caught my falling body but I didn't feel the coolness of metal on my skin, instead, familiar soft cold skin holding my body as I pass out.

"My King, she's waking up." I hear faint voices murmur around me and I hiss in pain at the shocks that flush through my veins, slowly opening my eyes

"Easy darling." I wince as I see light burn my eyes, everything clearing up and I see Loki in front of me. He was frowning, brushing my hair away from my face.

"Everything fucking hurts." I hiss lowly, struggling to sit up and Loki quickly helps me.

"That would be the consequence for overusing your powers in one go. You haven't even had any practice!" he scolds me and I narrow my eyes at him.

"I wouldn't have used them if you didn't blow up all the engines. That's not supposed to happen." I whisper towards Loki, realising Janes friend was in the room. Loki peers at him and signals for him to leave us alone in the rather extravagant looking bedroom.

"I needed to ensure my plan succeeded."

"One engine Loki. One engine would've been enough." I sigh out, rubbing my head to ease the headache.

"Come here." Loki tsks and gently pulls me close to his chest, letting my head lay on his shoulder as he gently places a hand on my forehead. I sigh in bliss at his cold hand on my burning skin, a soothing feeling running over me as he used his magic to make me feel better. "How is that?"

"So much better." I breathe out happily, his hands running down my arms to cool the burns of singed skin and glowing streaks. "So, getting people to call you king already huh." I grin up at Loki as he glares at me lightly.

"I am a king!"

"I know you are bub." I lightly pat Loki's cheeks, getting up and stretching to hear the satisfying pops in my joints. "Fuck, why does it feel like I was hibernating?" I groan softly and I see Loki stare up at me, his cheeks a bit pink. I blink at him in surprise, quickly turning around to get something to drink.

"You still need to rest." Loki calls out after me as I head down the hallway, recognising the building to be the Stark tower once I reach the penthouse floor.

"And you need to greet your guest. Tony's here." I head straight for the bar, looking at the different options as Loki walks outside once Tony lands.

I've never had alcohol before.

I rub my hands like an eager fly to try the drinks. "Hmm, Moscato? Sounds weak. Jack Daniels? Sure." I grab the bottle and down the liquid in one go.

"(y/n)!?" Tony gasps out and I jump, hiding the bottle behind my back as I swallow what was in my mouth.

Oh, that burn was nice!

"Are you ok!?" Tony asks, checking for major wounds as I set the bottle down on the counter behind me. "Is this where Reindeer Games had you locked up?"

"Nah. I just woke up. I think I was out like a light for some time. I did quite a number on myself back at HQ." I chuckle nervously and Tony frowns at me like a disappointed dad.

More like a DILF but ok.

I see Loki whip his head at me and I narrow my eyes at him.

Don't read my thoughts!

"Are you sure you should be drinking?" Tony raises a brow at me as he sees the alcohol behind me and I shrug.

"Never hurt to try. Let me be young man. I've never had alcohol before." Tony rolls his eyes, pouring us both a glass. He and Loki have their dialogues and I just watch from behind the counter while sipping my drink. I watch as Loki gets more and more irritated, his eyes turning bluer than the green they were before.

So it is the sceptre...

"But let's do a headcount, here." Tony starts listing off the Avengers, drinking his whiskey as he subtly puts on his sensors on his wrist. "And you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."

Besides me.

I shrug, finishing off my drink and walking around to jump up and sit on the counter, my feet on the stool. "That was the plan." Loki scoffs.

"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."

"I have an army."

"We have a Hulk." I mimic Tony and he hi-fives me again. The boys square off and Loki raises his sceptre to control Tony but realises there is a bit of a snag in that plan.

"This usually works." Loki was surprised, trying again.

"Well, performance issues, it's not uncommon." I snicker, laughing behind my hand from Tony's comment. "One out of five-" I wince as Loki suddenly grabs him by the throat and throws him to the side.

Ooo, that's gotta hurt.

I quickly get up as Loki picks Tony up and I rush to the glass as he throws him out of the penthouse. "Holy fuck!" Tony was flailing around and I would be lying if I didn't find that funny. "And let the battle sequence begin!" I yell out, shrieking as Tony scares me when he suddenly pops up in his suit and blasts Loki. "Ooo! Now I know that's gotta hurt!" I suddenly hear something blast and I peer out the broken window to see the sky being ripped apart as a portal opens up.

"Right. Army." Tony flies off and I go in search of popcorn.

I'm sure they will be ok.

Unless something different occurs again.

Loki stands up and transforms into the regal armour that included the infamous golden horned helmet and I follow with him, seeing the destruction and chaos befalling New York.

Ok, this is a lot worse in person than through a screen...
