(y/n) - your name

"(y/n). Wake up." I whine out, swatting off the hands that were shaking me as I snuggled into the heavenly soft bed. "Come on sweet cheeks you need to get up."
"Let her sleep, Tony. This is the first time she got proper sleep." I groan and hide under the blankets, curling into a ball. I was way too comfortable in the trackies and hoodies that I had found in the closet after my hot bath and the thick blanket covering me.
"I want to see her powers!" I hear Tony whine like a child and I growl lowly as I pick up the blanket to see the alarm clock on the bedside table showing that it was 11 am.
"The fuck is wrong with you guys! It's too early!" I huff out, taking my blanket off my face to see Tony, Steve and Natasha hovering over my bed. The boys jump back in surprise as I growled at them, Natasha snickering as she eyed my bird's nest hair.
"Damn girl." Tony flinches back as I glare at him before going back to dive under my blanket. "(y/n), I want to see your powers!" Tony continues to shake me and I growl.
"Uh Stark, I think you should stop-" I immediately throw a pillow at Tony's face and he blinks in surprise as it falls to the floor. Steve and Natasha burst out laughing until Tony picks up the pillow and wacks Steve in the face. "Oh, now you've done it." Steve takes another of my pillow and starts fighting Tony and I groan now that I won't be able to sleep anymore.
"Boys." Me and Natasha mutter out and I go to brush my teeth and freshen up. When I get out of my bathroom again, the boys were still fighting.
"Really?" I roll my eyes, picking up a stray pillow and wacking Tony and Steve hard as they get thrown to the floor. "You guys done?" I throw the pillow back on my bed, not bothering to fix the bed since I was hungry again. I walk down the hallway, ignoring the odd looks of agents as I head into the kitchen to see Bruce and Thor already there.
"Morning Lady (y/n)!" I grunt in reply, looking for milk and cereal plus something to drink.
"You're not a morning person are you."
"No." I snap back at Bruce, sighing blissfully as I started eating my cereal. "What's today's agenda?"
"Tony wants to see your powers so he can identify what it would be called and Fury wants you to talk to Loki."
"So you think that I might be able to get info out of Loki for you huh Fury." I call out, staring straight at the camera that was in the corner of the room knowing he was keeping an eye on me. As soon as I finish eating, Fury called everyone back in the meeting room, including me. The avengers sat at the round desk as I sat between Bruce and Thor.
"Since we are all here," Tony looks at me, curiosity in his eyes. "Can we find out what your powers are, please!"
"Agreed. We need to know if you will be a useful asset to the team."
"From the battle in Jotunheim, (y/n) has shown skills of destroying their magic attacks, shielding us with forcefields and she has even easily immobilised me with her magic!" Thor exclaims proudly.
"So matter manipulation?" Tony and Bruce speak up and I look at them in surprise as they look at each other with worry.
"That's an extremely strong superpower." I mutter out, staring at my hands as I let lightning streaks crackle through my skin. "That allows me to have the ability to control matter including atoms and particles."
"Still doesn't explain the magic aspect of (y/n)."
"That is something we won't be able to quantify." Tony says.
"Give us a demonstration." Fury asks and I frown.
"I haven't had any practice at all."
"Try something." I scratch my head, wondering what to do. I focus on the buzzing ringing through my head, the streaks glowing brighter on my skin as I let my powers envelop me and I hover up in the air above the table. "Ok, you can float that's nothing. We have two avengers that can do that." Fury rolls his eyes and I glare at him, letting my powers crackle around my fists. White wisps circle around me and I focus on a glass cup, letting it crack and crumble into sand as I fist my hands before it circles around me. I manage to change the shape of the sand into a small glass figure of an angry Fury. "Ok, you can break things and change their shape. Do something interesting." I growl at Fury, staring straight at him as he suddenly struggles to breathe. I had enveloped him with my powers, cutting off the oxygen around him as he suffocated.
"Ok (y/n), I think he's had enough!" Bruce calls out but I just lift Fury up from his seat as he gasped for air.
"(y/n), drop him! Now!" I drop Fury as Natasha asked me and he wheezes, coughing haphazardly as I cross my arms. I was still hovering in the air, glaring at Fury as he grips the table and stands up.
"Ok, you're useful." He wheezes out and I lower myself back down on the chair. "Now Loki."
I stared at Loki with a frown as he paced in his cell, not realising I was in the detention cell with him. I nod at Natasha as she unlocks the side door for me and I walk into the cell quickly, hearing it shut close behind me.
"Loki..." He freezes, eyes wide and he slowly turns his head to face me.
"(y/n)...?" He gasps out and I smile at him softly. "You..." He slowly walks up towards me and he suddenly sneers at me. I get slammed against the wall his hands gripping my throat painfully tight. "You left me." He growls out and I hiss in pain as his grip tightens.
"Loki, you're hurting me-" I gasp out as his hands tighten painfully and he growls at me, my hands holding his arms.
"You left me! You said you would be there for me always but you broke that promise and left me all alone!"
"I'm sorry Loki! I had lost you the minute I saw darkness! I was alone in the dark for months!" I cry out and Loki freezes. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you but please, believe me, I wish I was." I pant out and Loki lets me go as I gasp for air. "All I saw was darkness. I didn't know where I was. I couldn't see you, I couldn't see anyone. I was trapped. I was alone." Loki pulls me into his arms to hug me.
"When did you arrive?"
"Last night. I should've visited you but I was exhausted."
"It is not your fault." Loki murmurs out, brushing my hair.
"Are you ok?"
Is Thanos hurting you?
Loki freezes again as he hears my question in my mind. "I'm ok for now."
Is he making you do this?
"I'm glad you're ok. How long were you here for?"
Loki, you can ask us for help.
I let Loki peer into my memories of how I explained to the Avengers about me not being from this universe the night before I dropped onto the helecarrier from the abyss, letting him catch up to date with everything including the fact that I had died and arrived here.
I don't want to hide anything from you.
"I've been here for a few months now..." Loki answers and he hugs me tightly when he realised I was telling the truth before letting me go. I peer into his eyes, seeing the usual green swirling with blue and I frown.
"You look so tired." I carefully place my hand on his cheek gently, brushing my thumb beneath his eyes and he sighs into my hand blissfully.
You don't have to do this Loki, please.
He shakes his head and backs away from me. "You shouldn't be here." Loki hisses out softly and I know he was putting up an act again.
Let us help you, please. I don't want you going through this alone.
"I'm staying here Loki. I need to make sure you're ok."
"I don't need your sympathy, you pathetic mortal!" Loki yells at me and I narrow my eyes at him, his eyes glowing blue.
How are you being influenced Loki? The sceptre?
Loki nods at me subtly. "No matter what you try to drive me away, I'm staying by your side."
Infinity stone right? Mind stone?
"You are a pest that should just die!" Loki growls at me, slamming his hand against the wall behind me as he backs me against the glass. "You should leave if you don't want me hurting you." He hisses out, his eyes flashing a bright blue as he leaned down closer to my face and I could hear my heart racing from how close he was to me. I dodge his arms and quickly exit the cell as Natasha locks it when I get out.
I'm not leaving you Loki. You are not alone.
His eyes widen and he frowns sadly at me as, his hands on the glass. "Reindeer games is one bipolar god." Tony huffs out as he takes me out of the detention cell.
"That was a waste of time." Fury stares at me and I roll my eyes.
"At least he wasn't acting hostile to me unlike everyone else here."
Except towards the end...
"And why is that?" Steve asks, being suspicious of me.
"We've both been through some similar issues. He knows I can understand him and I know he can understand me. Well, one way or another."
"Sure..." Steve mutters out and I walk off to go back to sleep.
