(y/n) - your name
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I suddenly jolt up awake gasping for air heavily, like I was forcefully pulled out from tar-like darkness as the light blinded my eyes. I hiss and squint in slight pain, blinking until my vision came back to me. My heart started racing in panic and nervousness when I noticed that I was somewhere I didn't recognise. I wasn't in my hospital room, wasn't in the stark white bed sheets or in the hospital assigned pyjamas.
Where the fuck am I!?
I try to calm my racing heart beating heavily against my chest, looking up with wide eyes at the man that stood before me.
Holy shit...
It can't be...
Loki!?
No no, Tom Hiddleson?
Are they filming doing another movie?
I thought Loki's storyline ended with the tv series.
Tom or Loki looked at me with wide and curious eyes as he sat on the edge of my bed holding a glass of water. "Are you feeling alright?" His soft voice rings out and I just stare at him in disbelief as he carefully sets the glass down on the bedside table. I open my mouth to speak, flinching slightly at how raw my throat was and Loki/Tom gave me the glass. I didn't realise how weak I was as my hands shook holding the glass and he helped me drink the water.
"Where... am I?" I wince at how scratchy my voice was from using for the first time ever after so many years of being stuck in that goddamn hospital room with an oxygen mask over my face and a tube lodged down my throat.
"You are in Asgard." I blink at the man before me.
He's not serious, is he!?
Maybe Tom lowkey lost it and now thinks he's actually Loki after acting as him for so many years.
"What?" the man looked at me with bewilderment.
"Asgard, one of the Nine Realms?"
Ok, this is getting really serious.
I nod slowly. "And who are you?"
"I am Loki Odinson, Son of Odin and prince of Asgard."
I have to be hallucinating.
This can't be real.
I clench my jaw, a dark feeling washing over me as I remember my last moments in the hospital.
I'm not dead...
Why am I not dead?
I died in that hospital bed.
"I'm supposed to be dead." I furrow my brows, realising I wasn't in pain anymore. I ignore this so-called Loki as he looked at me strangely.
"You are not dead-" I suck in a large gulp of air, cutting Loki off. I hold it in, not feeling the burning in my chest as I slowly release the air and blink in shock that I didn't have a coughing fit.
"I'm fine... I'm not sick anymore..." I gasp out, suddenly feeling a cold breeze over my and my senses go into overdrive as I could feel the silk blankets that laid over me, the bed sheets cool against my skin as I laid on them. "I can feel again... I'm not numb either..."
Wait.
I flex my fingers carefully, feeling them stretch out before pulling the blanket off to see my legs. I rub my hands on my legs, a tingly feeling in them as I was able to rotate my ankles. I swing my legs over the bed, feeling the soft carpet beneath my feet and I grab onto the bedside table. I carefully lift myself up on my feet and stand up as I switched to grab the bedposts.
"I can stand..." I gasp out, my eyes glazing over with tears as I wobbled over my feet after having standing up on my very own for the first time in years. Loki quickly stands up to help hold me as I tried to walk.
Come on. One foot in front of the other...
My heart burst in happiness as I raised a foot and put it down in front of me, shifting my weight on it before doing the same with the other.
"I-I can walk! Holy shit I'm walking again!" I exclaim, holding onto Loki as I cried in happiness.
"Were you not able to before?" He asks and I shake my head. He nods gently and leads me back to the bed. "What is your name?"
"I'm (y/n)!" I couldn't help my burst of happiness and it looked like Loki didn't mind it as he smiled at me softly.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Lady (y/n). I am relieved that you have not passed away."
I was walking down the corridors with the help of Loki as he held me up, keeping a slow pace for me as he lead me to Frigga who had asked to see me once I woke up. I was still trying to wrap my head around how I was in Asgard, interacting with characters that I have watched multiple times on my TV.
Loki didn't ask me too many questions which I was grateful for, just making sure I was ok so far. "What do you remember?" He asked me and I wrack my brain for moments before I woke up.
"I only remember darkness." I lie, only remembering my last moments in the hospital room before the monitor flatlines. I couldn't tell Loki this as I couldn't sway the storyline of Thor more than I should.
I'm not even supposed to be here.
"Can you tell me what happened?" Loki explains to me how I fell out of the sky like a falling star, crashing into the field in front of him just the night before.
"There was this burst of white light as you fell. Along with powers crackling through your skin and surrounding you like wings before it disappeared."
"Wait... I have powers!?"
What is this, some fanfiction story?
"It would appear so." We finally arrive at a door, stopping before it as Loki knocked on the door.
"You may enter." Frigga's voice calls out and Loki opens the door to her sitting on a lounge reading. "Ah, Loki. Thank you for bringing our lovely guest."
"She doesn't remember anything before she fell from the sky mother." Loki says as he sits me down on the couch.
"Do not worry dear, I'll take it from here." Loki nods and leaves the room. "I have a feeling you were lying to him." My eyes widen as I see Frigga chuckling softly behind her hand.
How did she know?
"And you are also from another dimension am I correct?"
"How did you know?"
"Dear, I am a witch. I can see years past my vision." I nod slowly as Frigga sits down next to me on the couch. "What is your name dear?" She inspects me for any wounds, turning my arms around as if she was trying to find something.
"(Y/n)-" I hiss softly as a single white lightning crackles through my skin. Frigga hums and nods like she just confirmed something, letting me go. "I'm not supposed to be here."
"I understand dear-"
"-no like I mean I'm really not supposed to be here. I don't belong in this movie-" I cover my mouth and Frigga gives me a smile anyway.
"So is that what our worlds are to you in your dimension?" She looked genuinely intrigued and I nod.
"Everything in this universe actually, is a story in my world. A story that a lot of people actually cherish and care about. Especially the people in the story..." I frown, knowing Frigga wasn't going to last in the second Thor film.
"And you are one of those people correct? That cherishes us." I quickly nod. "That must be the reason why you are brought here."
"I do remembering wishing I could see the marvel characters... before I... died..." Frigga frowns and goes to hug me. "I had been sick and hospitalised for more than half my life and I just...died. No one was there. I was alone..."
"You are not alone anymore dear. You have been given one more chance at a better life but just as you said, do not meddle with our storylines. Everything must happen as it should." Frigga warns me and I gulp, nodding when the door suddenly opens and a maid walks in.
"AllMother, the celebrations are about to begin." Frigga thanks her and she suddenly pulls me up and out of her room with her to the throne room where every single Asgardian citizen was waiting. Frigga stands up on the topmost steps as she keeps me standing next to Loki.
Everyone suddenly started clapping and cheering and I look around pretending to look confused. "What's happening?" I whisper to Loki and he blinks down at me, jumping slightly.
"How did you get here?"
"Your mother brought me here." I look around and shudder at how many people were here, hiding behind Loki's extremely tall and large figure. "Everyone is so fucking big here. They all tower over me." Loki purses his lips, trying to contain his laugh until he goes blank face as Odin slams his spear on the ground to silence everyone. Thor takes his helmet off and his eyes immediately catch mine, winking at me and I look down in embarrassment. As soon as I look down, I finally realise what I was wearing.
My dress was purely white, a silk gown that was soft to the touch as it draped over me like a waterfall while a corset bodice covered my chest in multiple straps. There was even a hood, made from a moon and star chiffon lace fabric which also layered over my dress and arms like flowing sleeves.
Despite having many layers, the dress was quite thin and not warm, shuddering slightly from the cool breeze. I lift my dress slightly to see boots peeking out, garters strapped on my thigh.
Why do I look like an angel mixed with an assassin creed character?
