'No they won't touch him, I'm never letting anyone hurt my hide' as I jumped out the window I felt hide go limp in my arms. "Don't worry hide, we will be safe soon"

Rize: do you think he is really safe with you?
Kaneki: just leave this is my body and mind alone!!
Rize: but do you not remember, haha I'm part of you. Without me you would be dead, and hide would not be like this.

After that she stopped talking, and all I could think about was hides safety. 'Wait she's right, if I had died none of this would have happened' I almost crashed into a tree when we started at the edge of the forest. 'Hides been asleep for awhile now, I hope he's ok'

Hides pov.
"W-where am I" I woke up in a field full of light orange and red flowers, and there was someone in the middle. "Excuse me can you tell me where I am please?!" I yelled across the field, apparently the person did not hear me. I sighed and began to jog toward the person, and as I got closer I saw this person had long black hair, and was wearing a white 'dress?'. "Hello Hide" she said turning around, I stopped jogging and starred at here "how do you know my name?" She chuckled "you know me.....you just can't remember" she looked down at the ground with a sad smile. "I gave my life for you...so you could be with him" I look at her confused, and then it dawned on me 'I was dying' "that's right and I was the only person in the hospital that could save you, Kaneki came in begging for me to help" she paused "he said he would be lost without you.....I had three months left before the end of my life, and it came to a pretty fast end" I looked strait into her eyes and saw she was ready to cry "I didn't even have a family to say good-bye to" "why?" "BECAUSE I ATE HER!!" I flinched at her voice but recovered quickly after "can you tell me...why?" I was scared, I didn't know what to say but she seemed nice "when I was born my mom knew I was half ghoul..on my dads side, but she couldn't bear to kill me so she lied about the father" she had a sad smile on again and tears ran down her face I walked over and hugged her, she took a deep breath and continued "as a child i could eat human food, but as I grew older I began to dislike human food, and at school I would begin to drool and grow crazed around other kids.....when I asked my mom she told me everything, but after she was done she had a knife in her hand" more and more tears ran, she began clutching onto my shirt as if she let go she would fall right back into her own life "s-she ca-came at me w-with the kn-nife a-and my instincts took control, I-I grew a-a kagune I was scared that my own mother would try to kill me, but when I saw the disgust in her eyes I saw she never loved me". She laid on the ground and beckoned me to do the same, I laid down neat to her looking right at her "I stabbed my mother in the abdomen (stomach) and the first thing I saw was red, red blood all I could think was 'blood, flesh, kill, kill her' and I guess I lost my own fight.

-back to the day of her moms death-
I sent my kagune straight threw her arm, ignoring her screams of agonizing pain. A bit in her other shoulder, my senses blowing up at the flavor, it did not taste of coppery blood and salt but something I could not describe or rather word could not describe. I ripped off the flesh, blood was everywhere no wall in the room was left the same my mothers now lifeless body lay in the middle of that room. Bite of flesh missing, and while she bathed in the pools of her own blood I cried. Cried for her cried for me, and most of all I cried for them the other halves, the ones fighting like me. I left that day and never ate again, a rich man found me in an alleyway mumbling and when he looked at my covered eye and saw what it was. He paid many people not to tell and to feed nutrients in threw my blood line, and from that day I lived in the hospital. Waiting for my life to end, but then I had a chance to save a life and as I saw who and what he was I saw that not all ghouls are bad. So I agreed and here I am now telling my story to the boy I gave my life to. "May I ask one question?" I nodded "does that mean I'm-" "part ghoul? Yep" he looked at me and smiled "oh one more" I looked over to him "what's your name?" I forgot to tell him my name.....wow "Bella, Bella Lovelace"
