"Let it....RIP!"

With that,Storm Spryzen and Shoot Kunoichi were launched into the stadium.

Spryzen made its way to the centre and secured it while Kunoichi drifted along the circular like stadium,moving in and out of the stadium as it barely grazed the balance type bey in the centre,similar to Valtryek during the match with Cognite.

"Look at that terrible performance,what was Kris thinking when putting the new kid into the team!" Stad scoffed before getting interrupted by a proclamation.

Kunoichi quickly used the edge of its layer to bounce off Spryzen before speeding up the circular wall of the stadium before pushing itself off its side,making itself dash straight towards its target,using the momentum of its speed to fully burst Spryzen with a single thrust,leaving many jaw-dropped.

A child's voice then rung in Lily's mind as she thought back to when she was nothing but a rookie blader.

The metallic sound of a bey echoed,signalling the bursting of Shoot Kunoichi for the twentieth time in a row. Leaving the seven year old angrily huffing at her defeat while her amused father laughed at her reaction.

"Once more! Come on papa!" Young Lily cried,tugging the black-coloured sleeve of her father's jacket,bugging him for another rematch,determined to beat him."You went easy on me,get serious!"

That statement immediately resulted to a quick simple flick of her forehead from him."I never went easy,you'll figure it out when you grow up." Shojou replied,not answering her question but instead leaving her continuously angrily huffing like a steam train,rubbing her forehead.

The voice of the referee snapped Lily out of her memory recall,announcing,

"Shoot Kunoichi,with a Burst Finish! BC Sol wins with a score of two to zero!"

"And that just gave them a lead! Will BC Sol maintain it or will Top Wand turn things around?!"

The brunette picked her bey before heading back to her team,Valt clearly excited from her win.

"That was incredible,seeing you out there made me pumped up! Valt exclaimed,his face turning beet red from adrenaline pumping in his veins,seeing that made Lily crack into a smile. "So I did well?"

"Yeah! I thought he had you there but you turned the game around!"

She nodded."Lucky I managed to turn it."

As the crowd was continuously cheering BC Sol on,Theodore continued observing from the balcony,his hands behind his back.

"Very impressive,what a shame she's wasting her talents on the wrong side." He confided,knowing full well that 'luck' was not a key role in her victory.

Lily Xu Adachi simply gave her opponent the false sense of victory,making the simple-minded drop their guard before finding the single perfect opportunity to defeat them.

Another strategy well suited for a  blader like herself who strikes at one's weakest points during battle.

Before the nect match beginned,Lily quickly directed a question towards the hyper blue haired blader." How do you get an apple if you can't climb a tree?" Leaving him confused as she took a seat beside him,relaxing while reverting back to her carefree,laid-back demeanor.

The next and fourth match would be the deciding match to whether BC Sol wins,just then,both Rantaro and Silas came down from the sidelines,asking Free whether one of them could take the last match,Valt being another one as the three crowded around Free,awaiting his answer while Lily watched them,laughing in amusement at the same time.

The golden haired boy gazed at the laughing brunette from his side,ignoring the debate between the three,his attention focused on her as the vague question she asked kept repeating in his mind.

"How do you get an apple if you can't climb a tree?"

That stupid,random vague questioned seemed to some what ring a bell that made him choose Valt to take the next match. Leaving both Rantaro and Silas astounded.

"That doesn't make any sense, Cuza beat him! He'll obviously tank again!" Silas objected.

"That's a belief not a fact. There is no fate,you choose whether you win" Free replied,turning his line of sight to Valt who nodded in understanding.

Upon hearing his encouragement,Lily directed a soft smile towards his direction,relieved that he gave Valt the faith to take the next match and that he was starting to connect better with his teammates.

The next match now featured both Valt and Cuza,going head to head in battle again.

"You think he can win?" Free asked the brunette.

"Without a doubt,just watch." Lily replied with a reassuring smile as she placed her two hands on her thighs,sitting up straight while completely focussed on the upcoming match.

Free simply shrugged it off before looking away from her.

In the next battle,Cuza went with his ultra stamina mode and started it off by using his Eternity launch,sending Alter Cognite to immediately tight-rope on the edge of the stadium.

The performer did a head stand beside his bey as he shot a cocky grin towards Valt whose bey,Valtryek was attacking and losing energy due to it not being able to reach Cognite.

And soon enough,Valtryek stopped spinning.

A short interval passed,both bladers locking their beys onto their launchers before the countdown.

Cuza once again went with his Eternity launch,sending itself ip the stadium's edge again. But this time,Valt went with his Spring Wing Launch.

His bey was continuously bouncing off the walls as a way to pick up speed which seemed to genuinely work,little did they know that Cognite was getting affected by it.

"That's the way,Valt." Lily whispered to herself in satisfaction that he understood her question earlier and how he was using the answer to turn the battle around to his favour.

If you can't climb a tree,you just got to force the apple to get down by hitting it to get it down."Good job." She happily continued.

And with that said,Cognite was sent back into the stadium as Valtryek knocked it out from the edge,the balance type bey making its way to the centre.

Soon enough,the two beys clashed and Genesis Valtryek defeated Alter Cognite with a burst finish,making the silver coloured finally meeting its match.

"That was such a fun match!" Valt proclaimed,getting hyped up from his win while the referee announced that he won with a score of two to one.

"BC Sol defeats Top Wand with three games to one!"

The crowd went wild as they cheered for their hometeam's victory.

After a few hours,night fell on the skies of Spain,the orangey-yellow sky be8ng overtaken by the dark blue sky of the night.

Kris gave a few of her words about the pride she had towards the team after the team's victory. Trad soon later on instructed them to come to the training area at nine in the morning,sharp.

As the other bladers were doing their own things and getting ready to go to bed,Satomb's blader,proudly known as Silas decided to question Kris about him getting put in the subs while Valt was in the main team battling.

After receiving his response,he turned to leave when he saw Free De La Hoya walking out of BC Sol's compound and going into the woods.

Choosing to quietly follow him from behind,he stood behind,got in,got out of trees just to prevent the top blader from spotting him.That was when Free stopped moving and a deer came out,causing the green haired blader to stay hidden behind a tree.

When Silas emerged from his hiding spot,both Free and the deer were both gone,like they vanished into thin air.

"But he was just here." Silas said to himself in disbelief.

But little did Silas know that Free was not the only one who goes roaming in the forest during the middle of the night.

"The night's pretty today,won't you say so,partner." Lily asked,using a clean cloth to polish her bey,humming to a melody as her legs swung forward and back. The gentle glimmer of the moon breaking the darkness while the leaves of the trees swayed along with the wind. "I guessed that never changed." She continued with an exhale,a tiny vein popping at the corner of her forehead as she tried to retain her smile.

"Calm down,only immature people don't know how to control their emotions." The sable eyed female reminded herself,taking another large amount of air,trying her very best to not throw into a hissy fit like how she used too when she was younger,around seven.

Lily just always seemed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time of course,what she overheard a few hours before was no exception,especially when she heard about something regarding a transfer of a specific somebody,someone she holds dear.

Hearing that made her furious on the inside.

But,she continuously kept her act up,the smiling feature to make sure no one knew what she truly felt. Because she felt like she was going to crack,she felt like doing nothing but scream till her voice went hoarse,the burning hatred and anger she was currently experiencing was just enough to send her over the edge.

"I guess I'll be lying to myself if I said I didn't expect Free to transfer." Lily sighed,getting off the tree,dragging her slightly lethargic self back to her tiny cabin where she lived in for most of her childhood. When everything was just sunshine and rainbows. No pain whatsoever.

Kicking her shoes off her feet before curling up on the rundown bed,she let her tired self drive her to sleep,secretly missing the warmth she used to happily feel in her 'papa's arms when he hugged her to sleep.

A few days went by quickly and of course Lily continued her laid back,cheerful and smiley attitude as she diligently continued her training to improve her techniques and strategies while helping out Valt and the others. During that period,she made sure to stay out of Free's way to make sure he would not see her vulnerable side as well as prevent herself from stopping him to transfer.

And at last.
"It was a single battle,no do overs." Free coldly stated,a bag over his shoulders as he looked down at Valt who had challenged him to a battle to get him to stay,unfortunately,it did not work out in his favour. "I know that." Valt replied,visibly upset. "See ya around." And with that BC Sol's captain started walking away from his secret spot where the two just had their beybattle.

Just then,Free stopped in his tracks upon seeing his deer and dark coloured hues staring at him.

The two claimed to be best friends since young but lately,the past few days seemed so distant. Maybe it was just the fragmented pieces of time lost during their separation that caused this rift and gap between them.

"Ah,your leaving? Have a safe flight and hope to see you on the world stage!" Lily cheerfully said,keeping her smile despite their current situation. Taking several strides forward to get to Valt's side so she could comfort him.

Just before she made it to Valt,she stopped beside the golden haired blader as she lowered her voice to a whisper. "Don't do anything stupid ,stay safe,and I wish you the best."  The female expressing her concern towards him for the final time and having her normal smile to prevent herself from shedding anymore tears.

Before the petite female could move away,the male who was known for little words simply leaned forwards towards her,bringing his unoccupied hand to gently bring her head upwards before going in and planting a small,lighthearted kiss on her forehead before pulling back. "Keep fighting." Were his last words before he officially left.

Lily who was still in slight shock over what had happened,placed a hand over her forehead,wide eyed as she looked at the ground before looking back up to only see that he was gone.

She grinned,looking down at the path he probably took

"May we meet at the finals."

And with that the two has once again went their separate ways.
