Free De La Hoya's POV:

"Sorry guys,I just don't know what went wrong...." Valt sadly said as he walked towards us,upset that he had lost the match.

"You did your best dude,don't sweat it." Rantaro replied with a sort of comforting tone.

"So did you have fun losing?"I asked.

"No! Why would you even ask that!" Valt replied in slight frustration.

"Yeah,didn't think so"

"So how did I beat Wakiya with Valtryek's super speed but this time it didn't even make a dent!"he asked.

"I could break it down for you,its kinda similar with Amy. Its a trade off between strength and agility. If it picks up the pace it can't pack the same punch. Meanwhile,Silas decided to launch with his dominant hand and boosted his bey's power."

"I knew you were trying to take the centre there but use your head,your bey is an attack type remember? If you think about it,that's putting Valtryek at a disadvantage."

"Yeah,I see now,I got a long way to go I guess. If I don't learn how to control it better than I won't stand a chance against him next time!" Valt said,having a tighter grip on Valtryek after my lengthy explanation.

"It all comes down to strategy so you gotta know what your opponent is like." I continued,directing that statement to Lily.

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

After Free made that last statement,I stood up and headed outside of the training area. When I was outside,I let some water run out from my bottle as it dripped on my hand.

I then splashed it against my face,letting out a large breath as I tried to calm myself down from all the negative emotions I was feeling.

"Breathe,breathe,get the anxiety out" I said to myself,but I just could not as my head kept flashing possible outcomes of the battle between me and Wakiya.

No matter what I thought of,I just could not see that winning image.

"You are indeed inferior." A voice behind me spoke up as my body froze,I could feel my body trembling from fear at those words.

"Your father was a prodigy blader while your mother was a brilliant strategist. Who would have thought that their child would be this weak at blading"

Upon hearing those words,I looked down towards my hands,they were small,just like my figure. Like my height.Because I was small,I did not have the strength present in most bladers.

"I am indeed inferior." I angrily thought to myself over frustration with my weak self. I remembered since young,both Kris and Free all grew but I always remained small.

"What's more,if only you worked a lot harder,you could have prevent Shojou Adachi from dying. A pity isn't it. Lily Xu Adachi." The voice continued,my heart dropped from those last words,all of a sudden,hot tears started running down,my fist clenched. I was not crying from sadness but due to anger.

I felt so angry at myself. I could not feel anything except for anger.

Flashback:

"Papa! I wanna be a top blader like you when I grow bigger!" I exclaimed with excitement.

"That's great! When you do,I promise that papa will always be at every match cheering you on!"Papa replied,having the same excitement as he used his hand to pat my head."I'll even make a biggg banner just for you!"he continued,his hand spread wide apart to show how big it was going to be.

"Really!?"I gasp in awe from the thought. I raised my pinky finger with a humongous grin on my face."Pinky promise?"

Papa simply smiled back,locking my pinky with his."Pinky promise."

"Papa will forever support you with everything."

"Yayyyyyyy!"

End Of Flashback

My father was so kind. He did not deserve to go so soon.

If only I was faster,stronger or taller,I might have been able to apply for more jobs to get the money. He did everything to give me the best life despite our poverty and yet I could not save him in his desperate time of need.

"I bid you goodbye." The voice concluded as I stared at the ground in guilt,in frustration in everything.

"I'll beat Wakiya. I'll do anything." I said to myself,clenching my fist. Unknown to me,my eyes glowed a golden-like colour as I said so.

Theodore Glass's POV:

I smirked. The first seed has been planted and I just cannot wait to see the results.

Valt Aoi's POV:

Everyone was cheering for BC Sol after Free's epic win against Silas,the dude just hand spun Fafnir into the stadium and bam! He won! This guy is just a top notch blader.

That's when I saw Amy walking towards us with her head hung down,her hair covering most of her face.

"Amy! Free won!" I exclaimed,waving to her as she walked passed me without a word. It was unusual since she usually would reply back. Something is clearly different.

"You alright Vice-Cap?"I asked again but she once again gave me the cold shoulder.

For some reason,there was a frighteningly scary aura around her,something that was not there before.

Its like she was a completely different person.

Free De La Hoya's POV:

"Valtryek is ready to pack a punch! Lemme take Wakiya out!" Valt proclaimed,showing Valtryek with its weight on,meaning its gonna have much more attack now.

"Just give me the hint and I'll go!" Rantaro butted it.

As they were talking,I was in a slight daze as my head tilted upwards to see the owner of Raging Bulls,Theodore Glass,sitting there with a sly smirk on his face as he stared outwards at the bey arena.

My face turned into a slight frown at the sight of him before trailing my line of sight to Lily.

Both Valt and Rantaro did not seem to notice but she was trembling and shivering a lot,taking deep breathes as her grip tightened onto anything she touches or lays her hands on.

But what seemed to shock me most were her eyes,instead of its normal black colour,it was shimmering with a bright golden-like colour which looked like it can consume everything in flames despite its intriguing colour.

"It must be that Theodore Glass." I thought with slight anger before remembering something which I learnt right before Lily father's passing.

Flashback:

I was in front of the hospital ward #463 when I opened the door. There I saw Uncle Adachi who was also my mentor.

"Ah Free,what brings you here?"He asked,his face having the same bright smile despite everything that was going on.

"I came to see if Lily was around." I replied,my voice with slight disappointment since I haven't seen my best friend for the past few days.

"Its seems you just missed her,she came to visit me before heading out again."Uncle Adachi continued.

"I see."I muttered to myself,before I left,Uncle Adachi motioned me to come towards him.

"Free. I may not have much time left so I have to tell you something."his tone changing into one that was serious."I taught both you and Lily about how you can go over the usual body through anger and concentration."

"But this can also be harmful to the body,which is why I don't want you two to use it unless its absolutely necessary."

"We both know that,so why are you telling us again?"I asked,not understanding where all this is leading to.

That's when he looked at me with the sense of seriousness I had never encountered before,especially from a carefree person like my mentor.

"If Lily happens to be in a constant anger in the near future,you cannot let her beybattle no matter what."

End Of Flashback

Free De La Hoya's POV:

"The harm dealt to her body might be extremely severe so I want you to prevent that." I thought after that lengthy dive back to the past and reminder from my mentor.

Raising my hand,I pointed at the person who I appointed to go for the next and final game.

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

"Onto Game five! We have Wakiya Murasaki coming back for more and we have Amy Watanabe!" Hanami announced as I walked towards the bey stadium,unlike the first match,I was not afraid,in fact I felt the burning urge to win.

"Your my opponent? I was hoping it would be Free." Wakiya said with a sigh as he locked Tempest Wyvorn onto his bey launcher,clearly upset that Free wasn't his opponent."oh well,I'll just beat you again and claim our victory."

Staying completely silent,I just twisted Shoot Kunoichi onto my launcher as the two of us waited for the referee's countdown.

"Game One And Set!"

"3...."

"2...."

"1...."

"LET IT RIP!"

With that said,the two beys launched started out strong as Wyvorn took the centre while Kunoichi slammed itself on the walls as it continued picking up more speed.

Without any command,Kunoichi went in for the first attack as it accelerated towards Wyvorn. Making the first contact as Kunoichi's attacks were deflected by Wyvorn's free-spinning part.

That's when the same thing happened as Tempest Wyvorn slammed itself against Kunoichi,sending it out of the ring. But I caught I t with my right hand before it landed on the ground.

"Tempest Wyvorn with a ring out finish,one point to Wakiya Murasaki!" The referee concluded as Wakiya picked up his bey.

"The same thing that happened during game one will happen again,I'll finish you with a burst again." Wakiya proclaimed,predicting his victory.

The next few words that came from my mouth wasn't what I expected to hear.

"Five strikes. That's all I need to finish you." My eyes glowing unknowingly which happen to catch the eye of Wakiya who slightly stiffened from the proclamation but soon went back to his usual self,deciding to not mention anything.

Wakiya Murasaki's POV:

"Just what is she?!" I questioned myself as I looked at her slightly glowing eyes,she was breathing much quicker and deeply compared to earlier and the first match.

We both attached our beys to our launchers and...

"Game Two And Set!"

"3...."

"2...."

"1...."

"LET IT RIP!"

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

Before the countdown and the launching of Kunoichi,my grip on my string cord continued to tightened.

My blood was pumping really quickly through my veins.

All of a sudden,I heard two voices which were all to familiar.

"Are you angry?" They asked.

One belonging to my father and the other belonging to Shoot Kunoichi,my partner.

Not answering the question,I launched Shoot Kunoichi into the stadium with all my strength summoned in this final match,a searing pain felt at my wrist after doing so.

I winced in pain from it as I held my wrist while watching Kunoichi head into battle,continuing to pick up speed at the same time.

"Indeed I am angry."I answered in my thoughts.

"I wasn't able to save the person who meant the world to me,I wasn't able to be a help to the team,I'm small and forever inferior."

"So what if your small? Or wasn't able to help me."He asked,making me confused."You little rascal,you couldn't have made me more proud."he said with a wide grin on his face

My eyes widened from the saying as I once again felt tiny droplets of tears going down my face.

Not from anger

Not from sadness

But from relief and joy

Kunoichi than went in for the attack,but this time,it strikes so hard that the free-spinning part of Wyvorn tilted downwards,hitting the stadium's floor after Kunoichi expertly avoided it while also dealing out massive amount of damage to Wyvorn's critical point.

The same thing happened three more times as Wyvorn got sent around the stadium,taking damage at the same time while Kunoichi was still spinning strongly after all its furious attacks.

"Wyvorn! End it with Shield crash!" Wakiya shouted as Tempest Wyvorn drifted to the side before coming back in for the final blow.

A dark purple aura surrounding him as the avatar of Wyvorn formed,letting out a screech as Tempest Wyvorn came towards Kunoichi.  

"Let's do this Kunoichi,attack." I commanded,my resonance appearing as I said so,my eyes glowing golden at the same time.

I felt different,I no longer felt anger but the excitement from the battle,just like when I fought Valt and when I fought Free as a kid.

Shoot Kunoichi suddenly picked up serious speed as the avatar of Kunoichi also formed,unlike Wyvorn,she was silent but had a deadly gaze.

The two beys and avatars clashed,both obviously not wanting to lose or give in. It wasn't just a battle of sheer strength anymore,it was also one between the wills.

I looked towards Kunoichi,thinking that I might lose but I quickly shook the thought.

"I'M GONNA WIN THIS!" I declared,surprising some of my teammates at the process while hearing the last few words that echoed at the back of my head.

"And when you really want to win."

Tempest Wyvorn then got flung into the air and burst.

"You win."
