Adachi's Heritage?

Valt Aoi's POV:

I let out a slight yawn as I looked towards Trad to find out what today's training schedule is going to be like. Unexpectedly,  there was someone standing beside him and Kris.

A brown brunette of some sort who was looking towards all of us with a ginormous smile on her face, it was honestly intoxicating.

Kristina Kuroda's POV:

Taking a step forward, I raised her hand towards my dear friend. Lily Xu Adachi.

"Everyone, this is Lily Xu Adachi, one of BC Sol's members from nine years ago before she left due to confidential reasons." I introduced.

"Hi everyone! It's great to see the team still in great shape! I look forward to training and battling all of you!" Lily exclaimed with joy hinted in her voice, giving a wide grin towards all her teammates, even towards the few who previously doubted her skills as Amy Watanabe.

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

Being myself without any judgement felt amazing. Letting out an exhale, I took out Shoot Kunoichi and showed it towards Valt and the others.

"Shoot Kunoichi and I won't ever be easy to bring down, so watch out!"

That's when Sasha let out a loud gasp as her face slightly turned a ghastly white with unease."Brown hair, black eyes, a girl the same age as Free- are you that child from the legend!?" She loudly asked, surprising the other bladers from the mention of the legend. Some had fearful faces while some were in disbelief, hoping that what Sasha theorized was not true.

"Yeah? What's so weird bout that." I asked, scratching my hair as a sign of wonder from the expressions on their face. I mean, being raised in the wild, chasing away wrongdoers, had to just stir up rumours.

What is wrong with it?

"How can that be true! That legend isn't even real!" Stan yelled.

A brief moment passed before I happily suggested.

"I could even take yall to that house if you can keep up with."

With that said and done, I started heading out of the training hall to head to the entrance of the ginormous, green luscious forest of BC Sol. I could never stress how much this place meant to me, I explored it so much as a kid that I can easily navigate my way around like it's a piece of cake.

Looking backwards, I saw that the others actually wanted to see if whatever I said was true, I mean, it's really the truth. Before anyone could let out another peep, I jumped upwards before performing a graceful backflip as I quickly landed onto a branch carefully with my pair of feet.

One advantage I had from being tiny was the fact that I could probably travel faster due to my small size, sure I lacked the strength but like Kunoichi, I exchanged it for speed. Unknowingly, I and my partner had a lot of things in common. Turning my body to look down at my teammates who seemed slightly shocked from my sudden presentation of proficiency.

"Just saying, this forest is like really big. So y'all really have to do your best to keep up in order to not get lost." I explained with a friendly nod of my head.

Raising my two hands to the side of my face, I clenched my fist, a smile on my face."Don't worry! If you all really do get lost, you all will probably be lost for like three days so it's no biggie." I encouraged with a delighted expression on my face since I was really sure that they could handle this simple walk in the park friendly challenge from me.

Clapping my hands to gain their attention, I commenced the challenge and began hopping from branch to branch, doing backflips and front flips as I went from one to another. As quick and effortlessly as an elite ninja.

Valt Aoi's POV:

Upon Lily's sudden and quick moments, all of us started chasing after her in order to not lose sight of her, though she says it's okay to be left out in the forest for three days we all say otherwise.

There were times when Lily looked behind her shoulder to see our progress, a grin always on her face as she slowly starts picking up the pace, heading deeper and deeper into the forest like it's an easy job to do, it was even difficult to just keep up.

However, all of us were getting a good work out as we struggled to keep up with the brown brunette. I could hear myself inhale and exhale as my blood kept pumping in the oxygen to continue running.

This was literally like training for both speed and stamina.

Which Lily seemed to easily excel compared to the rest of us.

"If that's your attempt to catch up to me then you all have to try much much harder!"  Lily exclaimed during a mid backflip before landing on a branch as she proceeded to travel further and further.

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

I grinned upon the sight, some of them were starting to slow down, panting as they caught their breaths while several were still fired up to keep running after my previous truthfully honest statement.

Around thirty minutes passed, I landed on one final branch before jumping off to stand on the normal ground, taking a final glance behind me, I started seeing Valt,  Rantaro, Sasha and a few others emerged from the bushes, completely panting as they dropped to their knees from exhaustion.

"You guys finally caught up, looks like y'all gotta work on your stamina and speed" I commented with a slight chuckle, staring at my teammates flushed faces.

"Well here's your proof."

Pointing towards the tiny cabin of a home which I lived in for almost ten years before leaving for Hollywood. A gasp could be heard from several behind me.

Having proven my point, I fully turned my body towards the bladers."Time to head back now." This was responded with a rather sweet and simple groan of frustration as they asked if they could take a break.

That's when Valt decided to challenge me to a bey battle.

A few minutes passed and Valt was on the ground, passed out.

After losing five matches against me.

But who could blame him, he was really tired.

Mere hours passed before I gathered everyone around to head back to BC Sol's training area. As we walked, Sasha started asking me of my family and origin.

Not wanting to answer some of those questions, I just told her some basic things like how my father and I had always lived here since my beginning. Back then, everything was normal and simple, I had no dreams whatsoever, just the want to only go exploring.

"What about your mom?" Sasha asked, looking at me straight in the eye as she walked beside me.

"Not really sure, never really physically her," I replied with slight disappointment in my voice, I used to always hear a lot of tales about her from my father. He always raved about how amazing she was a person, her intelligence and more. Honestly, I could write an entire essay from his description alone."I just knew I inherited her brown coloured hair and strategic play."

"Would you do anything just to see your mother?" Sasha once again asked. A simple nod was all I gave as I stared at what's in front of me as we emerge from the bushes to appear at BC Sol again. With that done, Trad ushered all of us in since he was going to finalise the team for the world league.

Surprisingly, Silas Carlisle left SunBat United and joined BC Sol. He was seemingly let in by Trad based on his previous records and fight.

After a few battles here and there, the final team was finally decided. Free, Valt and I were going on during the matches while Rantaro and Silas were back-up just in case anyone screwed up.

Another mishap happened and Django left BC Sol after losing his spot in the top team. He strides off with his suitcase behind him as he walked out into the sunset.

"This is all your fault! You all ruined everything!" Stan angrily exclaimed, pinning the blame and frustration towards Rantaro, Valt and me for no reason. And I wasn't having any of that.

Turning towards Stan, I let out a breath as I exhaled."Look, we three did our best to get where we are today so I suggest you take your bias opinions and walk away if all you know what to do is put the blame on others." I cooly said with a smile on my face, hiding my extreme anger, but anyone could probably still see it behind the wide grin.

Looking at a shocked Stan, I decided to take my leave and head back to the forest to go and start off more training. Gripping onto a single branch, I started doing pull-ups in attempts to increase my already bare minimal muscle mass in hopes to increase my strength.

Minutes passed before I used my hand and body weight to swing myself forward before going onto the branch, looking out towards the view as I rest my chin on top of my raised knee.

"What a peaceful night it is today, "I whispered to myself, letting the wind brush through my hair as I took in a whiff of the air. Exhaling at the same time.

Jumping off from the tree branch, I started making my way towards my father's grave. Arriving there, I took a seat right in front of it and looked towards my father.

"Dad, I'm doing much better now. Feeling confident in what I'm doing feels so great..."

Silence followed.

"If only I could have learned more from you, that would have been amazing."

"But thank you for what you have already taught me, I'm grateful."

"Who would have guessed you had such a will." A cold voice spoke from behind, my guard tightened as I dared not look behind for what I might have to see, tightening my grip on the grass below me.

Calming my thoughts, I stood up and simply turned around, looking at the person who the voice belonged to. I remembered it clear as day since it was the same as the one I heard before my match against Wakiya.

Dark orbs glared at those of an icy-blue.

That man, I always had a strange feeling bout him, that time when he suddenly appeared during the friendly match, when I saw him arguing with my father at home.

The ominous words he spoke.

"Good evening Lily Xu Adachi, a pleasant night it is today.he spoke.

" Indeed."

"I see that you changed your whole appearance, wouldn't want your teammates to have second doubts."

"Fat chance."

"I'll cut in short and sweet, I'm offering you a spot in Raging Bulls, a prestige club which far exceeds that of BC Sol. Would you take it?"

"No way, my roots are in BC Sol and I ain't leaving again-"

"Even if you could get the chance to know more about your mother?"

Upon that mention, I slightly froze. At that moment, a part of me wanted to say yes while the other said otherwise. My choice and decision would probably affect both my life and dreams. Hanging my head to look at the ground in deep thought.

Theodore Glass's POV:

Manipulation, always the best way to trick one's mind. Faking pity, I placed a hand on the youngster's shoulder."A child like you deserves their mother. Don't you think so?"

"So what do you say?" I asked.

Suddenly, my hand was slapped off by a hand. Thinking it was someone else, I looked around but turns out the one who slapped it was none other than the small girl in front of me, her eyes glowing golden in the night.

Lily Xu Adachi.

"What a joke, your completely lying through your teeth. Your not sympathetic, you just show fake concern to have things your way." She said in a low tone, glaring at me at the same time. At that moment, I could clearly see the resemblance she had to Kinuko.

The young girl definitely inherited her mother's sharp senses and harshness. Thinking back to when I was still in college along with Shojou and Kinuko.

"There's no way I'm going to join Raging Bulls and that's final." Lily angrily concluded.

Hearing a slight sound from the sides, I realised that someone was watching us, deciding to not care about it I looked towards the female.

"A foolish decision, but I do hope you reconsider, after all, you wouldn't want to also bring down your father's reputation. That is all for today, I bid you farewell."

With that said, I slightly bowed before turning around to leave.

Lily Xu Adachi's POV:

Once he left, I let out a sigh of relief as I calmed myself down. I realised that he was clearly lying and there might be a chance that he knew more about my family but for now, I'll do whatever I can to find out more about my mother.

Saying bye to my father, I hightailed back into the forest to head back to BC Sol to get some shut-eye but I was drawn in my the sound of a bey launching. Changing directions, I ran through bushes before emerging to see Free practising at the old stadium with Fafnir.

Realising I was suddenly there, he tilted his head to look at me.

Free De La Hoya's POV:

I was just practising my launch when Lily appeared from the bushes. Tilting my head to look at her, my eyes slightly widened from the sudden image of her as a kid again with her new hairstyle.

I admit I might have a soft spot for her.

Opening my mouth.

Words directed to Lily

"Your hair, it suits you."

"Random but okay? Thanks?"

She said with a nervous smile, scratching her hair at the same time.
