Anniyah was hurt because of her step mum's words and behaviour. It all started yesterday about a rose gold hairbrush Anniyah had bought which her dad had told her stepmum that Anniyah had bought it for her. So Anniyah just said yeah I bought it for you. But then when her nephew was sleeping in her bed, Anniyah's stepmum came again and said where's that hairbrush? Anniyah said that it's in the drawer, Anniyah's stepmum said I thought you bought it for me. So when Anniyah's dad came home, Anniyah decided to take the hairbrush and said to her stepmum "if you like the hairbrush you take it mum". Anniyah's stepmum replied "no its ok, if I need one I'll buy one". This hurt Anniyah's feelings and even in the morning Anniyah's stepmum was still repeating about the brush. Anniyah hated this situation and missed her own mum so much, but she tried to be patient as someone had said to her that maybe there's good hidden in this.
