Anniyah's pov
The days feels like years waiting for news that her husband has got his visa and will come soon, talking to him in the morning and before he sleeps but the rest of the time she feels his absence always it kills her. She thought she'd be allowed to go out with her friend as she hasn't been anywhere since lockdown and it'd help her feel better but unfortunately that won't happen. Sometimes she thinks that they should just put her in a cage, there's no one in her family who understands her. She yearns for happiness and being able to create beautiful memories with her husband by her side just like any other couple. Tears, sad songs, the darkness and silence have become her best friends. In the midst of the silence is her screaming heart which is tired of beating it just wants to stop so she can't feel the pain anymore. Dark circles are under her eyes, nothing feels good her husband and everyone tell her don't worry everything will be ok soon but it feels like never ending pain and loneliness. She stares at the walls and ceiling like a lifeless person. Why does it have to hurt so much!!!!! She ensures no one hears her cries because they'll say why you crying they don't know how she picks herself up again with her broken self. Every breath hurts so much that sometimes she wishes for death to come she knows it's wrong and she asks God for forgiveness in relation to it. She's exhausted of fighting these battles but still she knows somewhere that God will grant her ease after hardship.
