Anniyah was happy slowly slowly things were falling into place with the will of God like her husband told her today his teacher had told him to come collect the paperwork and the date has come for him to get his tuberculosis test done. She missed his kisses, her body yearned for his touch her eyes wanted to see him but all that would happen soon she just had to carry on being patient. Even this morning he'd said to her shall I come join you in bed you won't annoy me will you, anniyah said come and no I won't. Anniyah couldn't wait to play with his hair again, hold his hand talk to him about everything and fall asleep in his arms. They'd have breakfast together, get ready together and do everything together like all other couples do. This test of being in a long distance relationship had been very hard but most of it had passed and like they say after hardship comes ease which is what anniyah was looking forward to. It was crazy how quickly time had passed it'd be a year to her marriage all praise is due to God. Sure her husband's not perfect but the power of nikkah (marriage) makes you fall more in love with your spouse each day. Anniyah remembered how she'd sit on her bed in Pakistan or sit with her in laws waiting for her husband to come home. He was and is her peace, her heartbeat and everything. He'd be the light of anniyah's eyes and guide her in the dark due to night blindness. He'd hold her hand to stop her from falling. Anniyah prayed when she has children their eyes are like their dad's, she also mentioned it to her husband that she hoped their children never have eyes like me because she never wanted them to have to go through the struggles she had to go through.
