Tomorrow would be eid in sha Allah (God willing) so Anniyah hoovered upstairs and downstairs; cleaned the bathroom sink mirror and floor. Then she took out her eid clothes which her stepmum ironed so she wouldn't burn them. The good thing was her and her husband would celebrate eid on the same day, they sent each other eid messages. Anniyah's stepmum applied henna on her and her sister's hand time went so fast it was 12am. Anniyah messaged all her friends and family eid Mubarak. This eid was different, it was her first eid after marriage she wished her husband would have been by her side but it was upto God she thought maybe she'd video call him tomorrow. Anniyah looked forward to seeing her nephews and sister in law tomorrow for eid, they'd have a nice time together in sha Allah (God willing). There would be all that food, the tasty milk cakes her brother had bought and spending time with the family. Anniyah had just washed her henna it's colour had come out nice and dark like always. They say there's a saying when your henna is dark your mother in law loves you but maybe it's the colour of my husband's love.
