Anniyah had ironed her clothes and had a bath in preparation for Friday prayers (jummah). She remembered Allah (dhikr). Then she received her husband's message asking if she wants to talk to her father in law she replied yes, so she spoke to her father in law and mother in law but didn't get to talk for long to her husband as he was going to get wheat for the cows. Anniyah then video called her sister in law, they spoke for a bit as she was going shopping and said she'd ring Anniyah when she comes back home. Anniyah's dad told her that the fridge freezer had still not been collected by the council so Anniyah rang them to find out why which was because they had a contractor whose job it is to collect but their driver was absent hopefully they'd collect it on Saturday or Monday. Ramadan was flying by as today was the 22nd fast, there was a week or so left for eid. But Anniyah felt sad because before marriage she used to imagine spending her first Ramadan and eid as a married couple with her husband but that wouldn't be happening. With everything that was happening at the moment in the world it made Anniyah think that she was having to wait longer in terms of starting her husband's case and calling him over to the UK. She did worry that what if her and her husband would have to wait for each other their whole lives. Anniyah always felt a gnawing emptiness in her heart when she missed her husband but she never expressed it, as no one understood how she felt because they were all busy in their lives plus no one discussed it any more it becoming a question mark. Anniyah was happy to see her sister in law and nephews in person, she played with them and her elder nephew stayed longer as he didn't want to go home yet he made her laugh with his cute antics. Her sister in law had made chocolate cheesecake which Anniyah would have at sehri time (when closing the fast).
