Anniyah had cleaned the kitchen drawers, cupboards and washed her dad's breakfast dishes. Then she read the local news about Bradford, it stated that on Sunday in sha Allah Boris Johnson would make an announcement and on Monday some things would open like open pavement cafes, parks, being able to do unlimited exercise, enjoy park picnics but people would still have to remain two metres apart. Anniyah's dad told her that lockdown measures in Pakistan would also be eased on Saturday in sha Allah which made her a bit happy, but she'd be truly happy when her husband will have passed his IELTS exam and his Visa would get accepted to come to the UK. Anniyah then checked Wattpad to see if there was any messages from her friends and which stories have been updated. As Anniyah was reading a story, she saw a message pop up on her phone screen from her husband, he rang and they spoke which made Anniyah happy within and smile. She couldn't wait when he'd be near her all the time, even now that eid would be happening in two weeks she just didn't feel like celebrating because it's not like her and her family would go anywhere plus her husband wouldn't be with her to celebrate eid. Sure she has fancy clothes, sandals and clutch purses but Anniyah didn't feel like using them. Anniyah had a headache, thinking about stuff all the time and feeling the anguish of distance from her spouse which she also didn't express to anyone apart from to her sister in law or through writing. Anniyah did try to be positive and hopeful, reminding herself Allah will gift her with ease and happiness soon she just needs to be patient a little while longer.
