Alex's POV

"I'm flying in tomorrow and then I'll meet you at the registration office," I say over the video chat with John.

"I can't see you sooner then that?" He pouts, "I miss you."

"I miss you, too," I say. We talk for a bit longer then hang up. Tomorrow I get to see all of my friends again. Tomorrow I get to see him again. I go to bed.

I can't wait.

The next day

I stretch after I get off the plain. Nothing better then an eight hour plain flight to New York to wake you up. (I don't know if that is accurate, sue me) I sling my bag over my shoulder and walk through the waiting area to the exit. I look up from my phone to see someone that I've wanted to see all summer. John.

He's with Aspen. She sees me and taps him on the should and points at me. Our eyes meet and I can't help but smile and run to him. He runs to me and we meet in the middle. I jump into his arms and holds me tightly. I bury my face in his shoulder and without meaning to I cry.

We pull away and I look into those green eyes that I love so much. He has tears running down his face too. I pull him into a long slow kiss.

He pulls away and rests his head against mine, "I've miss you so much." He says.

"I missed you, too," I say.

"Well what am I? Chopped liver?" Says Aspen from behind John.

"Aspen!" John let's me go so I can hug her.

"I missed you, Alex," she says.

"I missed you too, Aspen," I say.

"Come on, we better be heading to campus," John says.

"Yeah," I say and intertwine our fingers. "One more thing."

"What's that Al- hmph!" John says before I pull him into another kiss.

"Now we can go," I say and we walk out of the airport and to the college.
