So now that you guys know how I got adopted let's continue with the current times! I had just called my dad 'Dad' for the first time today's and he was excited. Tony took me to the mall and as always Tony never left me by myself. My dad always made sure that one of his guys was around to keep tabs on me at all times which to me was stupid. He didn't have to babysit me all the time. It's not like I was just gonna go and run off. It's not like before when I didn't have anything else better to do. Now that I have a permanent home I didn't have a reason to run away from an orphanage. My dad was still a workaholic. He hasn't been on tour since me and Joey have been there. Joey has been on cloud nine since the adoption. I was already over it after the first week because I finally had a room of my own that actually looks like a bedroom and not like someone's storage unit. I couldn't have been happier but at the same time this was all I asked for. After my window shopping trip to the mall Tony drove me back to the house and I had found Joey and my dad standing in the lobby waiting for me. At first I was afraid to get out of the car until I noticed the clock.

  "Uh Tony? Why are my dad and my little brother standing there like I had just broken curfew or something?" I asked.

  "Not sure. Let's get you inside and see what's up." Tony said as he parked.

I got out of the car and ran to the door. Tony let me inside and I went up to my dad confused.

  "What's up with you? Why do you look like someone took a leak on you satin sheets?" I asked him nervously.

"Carly dad said he has something to talk to you about." Joey giggled as he jumped up and down.

"Go upstairs son. I'll be up to tuck you in as soon as I'm done with your sister."

Oh boy. He sent Joey to his room. Sounds like somethings up. He's in dad mode. I was still nervous looking as he tapped his pointed heeled shoe at me and raised his perfectly sculpted eyebrow.

"What happened?" I asked.

He didn't say anything just pulled out a square packet with a red round ring inside.

"Care to explain why this was in your possession? And in your room of all places?"

My face felt really hot with embarrassment.

"You went in my room???" I shrieked.

"No the house keeper was and she found this on your bed when you went to the mall today! Carlyn what's really going on with you?"

I wanted to tell him the truth but I wasn't sure how much he'd believe me. So I just came out and told him.

"Health class dad I swear."

"Really! That's what you're going with?" He asked in a disbelieving tone of voice.

"Come on dad I'm serious! I don't even have a use for them anyway! The most I'll probably do with it is fill it wth water and throw it at Tony."

"You shouldn't have condoms in your room Carlyn that makes me feel like I have to get ready for a conversation that it's way too early for!"

"What? Sex? Please you don't have to worry about that. After what I learned I don't want any parts of that at all!"

Prince looked pretty impressed that I wasn't interested in being sexually active right now.

"And why is that? What happen to that Tré character?"

"We still talk. It's just weird right now."

"Carlyn is he pressuring you to-"

"Daddy no! He's not like that. It's just....."

"Just what?"

"Well he just...."

"JUST WHAT????"

"He tried to kiss me. And I didn't let him because I've never had my first kiss before and it freaked me out! I might be bad at it."

I'm sure my dads blood pressure was sky high right now.

"I can't do this. I think I'm gonna die right here on this floor! Oh lawd! Why did I have to get a girl!"

"Daddy!"

"Please oh father God can I take this one back to make my parenting less stressful?"

"Too late old man you already signed the papers. We are stuck together like glue until you croak!"

He laughed as he hugged me.

"I need to go to Kingdom Hall for some spiritual guidance. This is just too much for just a few months."

"Gee dad I love you too!" I giggled.

"Not enough if my housekeeper is finding strawberry flavored condoms in your bedroom."

"ITS FLAVORED????? WHAT THE HELL FOR?????"

His eyes got wide and he lost what little color he already head in his face.

"You don't need to know that right now baby girl. Lawd my heart!" He said with a laugh

"Well don't worry daddy when I feel like I'm ready to have sex I'll gladly come to you about it."

Daddy nearly passed out at that point.

"Go to bed Carlyn. Take shower and go to bed before I never let you out the house again. Maybe we need to find you a mother or something too. I can't deal with this!"

"Hey sex is a natural thing to have according to the teacher."

Now I set him off. It made me laugh just to watch him squirm in embarrassment.

"Carlyn Nelson! To bed now!" She said smiling at me.

"Aren't you coming up to check on Joey?"

"After I clear my head. I gotta find something to get this topic out of my brain. Maybe some soap and hot water or something. Ugh." He said as he made his way to the kitchen.

That's the kind of relationship we have now. Who would have thought that we'd bond like this? I didn't at first but ever since that day I stole his guitar I also stole his heart. My dad Prince. You'll find out just how awesome he is. Let's get started shall we?
