"That was the best chocolate cake i've ever had." Wesley spoke as him and Mike walked off the plane together. "Do we look like tourist?"

"We definitely look like tourist." Mike agreed, referring to their bucket hats and the camera Wesley had around his neck. "You have got chocolate cake literally all over."

"What?" Wesley asked in a panic. "Oh my god, Will can't see me like this."

"You just gotta-" Mike reached over and violently wiped his face with his hands. "What-how did you do this?"

Will stood up, his face fell when he watched their encounter. El followed his gaze, smiling. "Wesley!"

He turned his head. "El!"

He ran to her to hug her tightly. "Peter sends his love, we'll see him tonight."

"What've you got on your face?" she reached up to wipped his face a little. "DP is in the car."

"DP?" Mike frowned his eyebrows, giving El a small hug.

"Dog Peter." Will answered.

"Will!" Wesley tossed his hands up, hugging him. Will smiled, hugging him back. "California people are kinda mean."

"Extremely." Will agreed.

"What time is the game tonight?" El looked toward the clock.

"Seven." the older boy nodded.

"Seven?" El sighed, already feeling she was so going crazy seeing Wesley.

"It'll fly by." Wesley reassured her. "Believe me, he's probably talking the drivers ear off about you."

"Hey, Mike. Wesley." Jonathan greeted the pair.

"Hey. How you doing?" Mike greeted him like a middle aged Dad.

"That's a rad shirt man." the boy next to Jonathan spoke up. Wesley knitted his eyebrows together, following his gaze toward Mike. "Ocean Pacific?"

"Oh, hey, guys. This is, uh, my friend Argyle." Jonathan introduced the trio.

"Oh, like gargoyle." Wesley nodded. "Sweet, I like it."

El and Will shared a grin.

Argyle pulled Mike into, what appeared to be, a hug. El gave a frightened look, glancing at Wesley as he hoped she'd answer his confusion. Mike cleared his throat. Argyle held the tag on his shirt. "Oh, no, no, no. No, it's a shitty knockoff. Yeah. But don't sweat it. I'll get you the good threads out here."

Wesley hid a snort with a cough, looking at Will as he gave a faint laugh. Argyle nodded. "I heard a lot about your sister."

"And I heard a lot about your brother." Will pulled Wesley slightly as they headed for the car. "So, California is kinda hot, if you need sunscreen. I remember you said you burned really easily."

"That's very true." Wesley agreed. "Mike, come on. Wills got us sunscreen!"

Will sighed, unaware of knowing the difference between friendship and feelings.

"Yes, Peter!" Bradly cheered him on when he made the goal, grinning and holding his arms up. Bradly ran to him, keeping a close eye on the stands. "I think I know where the scouts are."

"Where?" Peter looked back.

"No, no, don't stare." Bradly pulled his face back around. "Sitting at six O'clock. Don't make it obvious."

Peter nodded, faking a tumble as he rolled on the ground and turned his head in the direction, staring. Bradly slapped his forehead, Peter stood up. "You think they like me?"

"They better." he nodded, patting his shoulders. "I'm gonna put you in again, keep Watson on the bench one more play. Make it count."

"Yeah." Peter breathed out, smiling widely as he ran off. He looked back to the scout, his eyes going wide when he met his eye. Peter cleared his throat, giving a little wave. The scout frowned his brows, waving back. Peter turned around, grinning as he ran off to his goal.

"Everyone get the ball to Peter!" Bradly called to the team. "We'll get the goal and the upper hand if you do."

The boys agreed, all spreading out. Peter waiting for the whistle to blow, running as he turned. Wells got the ball, kicking it in his direction. Bradly had it, kicking it harder as it flew through one of the other boys legs and in his direction. Peter had it, the boys doing good at keeping the other team off him.

"Peter!" El called out from the side lines. He looked up, his eyes going wide at the sight of her. Her hair, different now, and she was taller. It was funny how much she could manage to change in just two months, how she had the ability to get prettier and prettier each time he saw her.

"Peter!" Bradly called out. He looked back. "Kick it."

He looked toward the scout, then at a beaming El. Peter turning, kicking the ball toward Bradly before running toward El. She smiled wildly, waiting for him to get off the field completely before jumping into his arms. They spun around as he smiled widely. "El, you just keep getting so much prettier every time I see you."

"I missed you." she hugged him tightly. "We got lost, that's why we're late."

"Oh, it's okay." he set her down as they pulled back. El grabbed his face, leaning in for a kiss to the lips. "You got the jersey!"

"Wesley brought it." El smiled, looking down at the extra soccer jersey she had of his. "Are we winning?"

"No, you guys are losing. We're winning." Peter looked back at the game, he inhaled as he smiled down at her. "Do you just wanna get out of here?"

Her face lit up, leaning in to kiss him again before they connected at the hand and ran to the pizza van. "You're driving a pizza van now?"

Will pulled the door open from the inside. "Peter!"

"Small one!" Peters face lit up as he hugged him tightly. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too." Will hugged him back. "Hurry, get in."

"Hey, Pete." Jonathan reached back to high-five him. "This is Argyle."

"Sup, man." he nodded from the seat. "I've heard a lot about your new arms."

Peter looked to Mike as he held his hands up. "All good things."

"Soccer is paying off then?" Jonathan looked back as Peter got sat in with El, she leaned in close to his side, her arms locking around his waist.

"Woah, this place is so cute." Peter looked around as him, El, Mike, Wesley, and Will got out at the skating rink El was extremely excited to go to.

"You'll love it. We come all the time." El held onto his waist as they walked through the groups of people. "Bitchin, right?"

"Sooo bitchin." be agreed, thanking the woman at the desk at the five got their skates.

"Do you guys come here a lot?" Mike spoke up as he looked around.

"Yeah." El answered.

"No." Will shook his head.

"Not a fan of skating either." Wesley agreed, walking by his side.

"Will does not." El said quickly as she looked to Peter. "But, I go to parties here."

"Peter knows about parties." Wesley mocked.

"Wesley." Peter scolded him.

"He fell off the roof at one." he went on as El laughed.

"Parties seem fun here." Peter looked around. "Your friends put them on?"

"Yeah, Angelia does." El smiled at him, taking notice of Mike. "Oh, I forgot you need socks."

"They sale them at the counter." Will nodded as Mike walked off.

"I have two right feet." Wesley held up his skates with panicked eyes.

"Go ask for the left one, they probably accidentally got them mixed up." Will nodded, pointing back to where they just came from.

Wesley looked nervous, Peter cleared his throat. "I'll go with you."

"Yeah." Wesley followed him as they walked off. "I don't think Will has that many friends here."

"Maybe he just hasn't found his crowd yet." he nodded, smiling at the woman. "Sorry, we got two right shoes. Could we trade one out for the left?"

"Oh, sure. I'm sorry." she apologized quickly, taking one back.

"Don't worry about it." Peter shook his head with a smile in her direction as she walked off. He looked toward Wesley. "See. Was that so hard?"

"Yes. I would have passed out." he said in return, looking back at Will and El. "I don't think Will likes me anymore."

"What?" Peter gave him an odd look. "Of course he does."

"No. He's been acting different to me." he shook his head. "What if he met a different guy?"

"El would have told me." he shook his head in return.

"What if El doesn't know?" Wesley rose his eyebrows as Peter gave a little worried look. "Will you ask him? He loves you."

"I'll talk to him." Peter nodded his head, looking back. "Maybe when it's not so obvious we're talking about them."

Wesley turned back to see El and Will looking in their direction, the Clarke boys giving a little wave in their direction.

"Woah, that was surprisingly really difficult." Peter took a breath as he fell into one of the booths. "I didn't think it would be."

"He's not good at something for once and is having a life crisis." Mike nodded as the table laughed.

"It's true." Peter agreed with a grin, leaning his head back. "Maybe I can ice skate well."

"Haven't we tried ice sk-" Wesley started.

"No, no. We have not." Peter cut him off quickly as Will grinned, El leaned into Peter more as he slung an arm around her while she sipped her drink.

"Milkshakes?" a new voice rung as Peter looked up, a blonde girl skating their way. "Yum. Where, oh where have you been hiding this handsome thing?"

Peter looked behind him before he gave a snort. "Are you talking about me?"

"Uh, Angelia, this is..this is Peter. My boyfriend." El cleared her throat, gripping his hand tighter. "And Wesley, Mike."

"Angelia. Pleasure." she leaned across the table with her hand out reached.

"Yeah, E- Jane's been telling me all about her new friends." he smiled, shaking her hand.

"Friends?" Angelia asked as the girl and two boys behind her laughed. Will looked to Wesley in a small panic. "Yeah! Super cool. Come on, friend. Let's skate, shall we?"

"I-I-I wanted to finish-" El started.

"I'll hold that." the boy pulled her milkshake from her, Peter sat up a little more as Angelia pulled El toward the floor.

Peter looked at Will. "What aren't you telling me right now?"

"El hasn't been completely honest with you." Will frowned.

"What are talking about?" he frowned his eyebrows, looking toward the skating group. "Who are those kids?"

"Mean kids." Will shook his head, Peter stood up quickly.

"They're being mean to her?" he asked in disbelief as he looked out again.

"All right, everyone." the boy over the DJ booth spoke up as the music ended. "This next song is dedicated to Jane, the local snitch."

The spot light flipped on her as Wipe Out began to play. El was frozen in the middle of the floor as everyone skated around her, yelling names at her. Peters eyes widened, looking to Mike. "Go get the music off."

"Yeah." Mike got up quickly.

"What do we do?" Wesley stood up soon after.

"Wipe out!" the boy over the speaker called, stopping the music. The same boy that was at their table, skated forward and threw El's own milkshake in her face as she fell back.

Peter took his skates off, pulling his vans back on so he wouldn't slip on the floor. He walked quickly across the floor. "Hey!"

The boy turned around quickly. "Aw, the freaks little b-"

Peter punched him as hard as he could, right in the face as the boy fell back against the ground.

He went to search to help El up, but he's lost her in the process of hitting the guy. He looked around quickly, finding the boys. "I lost El."

"She'll be around here somewhere." Wesley nodded his head, looking around. "Let's just spread out."

Peter opened up one of the doors, looking inside. He heard crying, walking in and shutting the door. "El?"

She hid her face as he frowned, walking closer to sit infront of her. He took her hands, holding them before moving her face up. He used his thumb to wipe her tears. "Those kids are so freaking stupid. Straight up losers."

"I'm sorry for lying." she sniffed, looking down.

"Don't even worry about it." he promised her. "But, El, you don't ever have to lie to me about anything. Especially not about who you're friends with."

"I just wanted you to still like me." El admitted as she stared at him. "You always tell me about all your friends, and Max said all those girls liked you, and Wesley said some boys too, and now you're going to parties and are on the soccer team. I just didn't want us to break up."

"El, no. No." he was lost of words, because he had no clue she thought that way at all. His hands held her face. "It's not like that. At all. All those people and all those things don't even matter. You matter. I'd put you above everyone and everything else. Always. If you and I ever break up, it'll be because you want to, because I'd have to be, like, on every drug in the universe to be stupid enough to loose you."

El laughed through her tears. "Me too."

"So then you don't have to worry about any of that." he promised her, moving in closer to press a kiss on her forehead. "I know that us not getting to see each other everyday really sucks. But, there's just three and a half more years left and I can move up here, or you can come back to Indiana. Doesn't matter, because it'll come fast and we'll get to be together every single day."

El nodded. "You swear?"

"Swear on my life." he nodded as she sighed in relief. "But, about those dumbasses out there. I know you don't have your powers anymore, but that doesn't make you powerless. You can still put them in their place, make them know not to mess with you anymore. You don't need superpowers to do that."

El heard their laughter from outside, nodding her head as she wiped her eyes and stood up. "Okay."

"Okay?" Peter asked, gapped as she opened the door. "Okay like now?"

He followed her out of the door, El grasped a skating shoe, walking after Angelia. Peters eyes widened as he looked about the for boys, not totally sure what he just managed to convince El to do. "Angelia!"

"El!" he called out to her, but was too late as she hit Angelia in the face with the skate. She hit the ground as Peters jaw fell, hurrying over. As he made it there, he paused when Angelia sat up, her nose cracked as blood poured down her face and she wailed.

"Oh-oh my god." Will panicked.

"We should go." Wesley confirmed.

"El, what did you do?" Mike asked. "What did you do?"

"Come on." Peter grasped her hand, pulling her with the group out of the skating rink.
