Combining different loves

Is sometimes hard to do

Come walk new path with me

And see what pen will brew

Join me in my garden

Where thoughts and flowers grow

My pen will plant new seeds

We'll watch for hope to grow

Come sit upon my porch

Share tidbits from my life

Both poetry and prose

Will help me deal with strife

As I attempt to blend

The things I love to do

And forge a brand-new path....
