I'm going to be moving to Spain with Gilbert but since it's expensive the three of us are gonna get an apartment to split the rent.

Matthew turned the screen off before he sucked in a deep breath. He stood up and walked down the stairs to the living room- where his parents were watching the latest episode of The Bachelor.

"Uhm... mom, dad... I have something I want to talk to you about..." Matthew spoke up.

They paused the show and his mom smiled brightly, "What is it honey?"

Matthew toyed with his hoodie before gulping, "well... I wanted to ask- no... let you know... I'm uhm, I'm moving to Spain... and if you don't want to give me the college money you saved up that's fine I'll get a job to save up for a ticket and everything... I already have two roommates there..."

His parents looked shocked to say the least. Suddenly his mom started to cry and his dad awkwardly tried to comfort her, "son, why do you want to move to Spain?" He asked.

"I need a fresh start... there's nothing for me to accomplish here... Alfred is moving to America for college and so is Arthur so I'd be alone friendwise... and I've been to Spain to visit Francis and even he thinks It'd be good for me..."

His father sighed and looked to his wife before nodding gently, "well... if it's truly what you want to do we won't stop you..." he glanced back up to him, "we'll do a compromise, I'll give you half of your tuition money to help get you started, then I'll save the other half for in case if it doesn't work out you still have some left for you to move back."

"And if it does work out?"

"Then your mom and I have vacation money," he grinned.

Matthew let out a laugh, "okay... sounds good to me, thank you!" He hugged his father and then his mother whom clinged onto him.

"My baby is grown up... I'm going to be so lonely..." she sobbed.

"I'm sorry mom, but I really want to do this..." he told her.

"I know, it's for the best... I love you."

"I love you too, mom... dad..."
