Arabella's POV:

When I woke up the next morning, the boys were still passed out, from what the nurse said they all woke up not long after she finished the 1 am rounds and they wouldn't go back to sleep due to the face that I was having nightmares that I wouldn't wake from. I was still groggy and in a lot of pain, so she gave me meds and I passed back out.

I got woken up around 9 am by a nurse to order breakfast, the boys were still out so I placed my order and put the tv on low. I found Grey's Anatomy and I was content until I fell back asleep and the guy that brought my food in woke me back up.

I felt weak and so tired, the nurse told me it was normal, I lost so much blood and coded. She also said that's part of the reason why I'm here for 48 hours, otherwise, I would have been cleared to go home today. I ate my breakfast and fell back asleep, Matt's hand never really left mine until I ate then I put it back before I fell asleep.

A few hours later I could hear faint talking, almost like the boys were finally awake, but my body needed the sleep so I didn't wake up. A nurse poked at me a few times trying to get me to stay awake but I couldn't, the meds were kicking my ass and I just wanted to sleep.

"I'm worried about her Shawn," I hear Matt say faintly before I'm into a deep sleep again.

Matt's POV:

"I'm going to message the rest of the guys and let them know how she's doing," I say before pulling my cell out and going into the group chat.

FuckfaceMatty: she's doing okay, she had a lot of nightmares starting around 1 am that lasted until about 4 am, she's asleep now, the nurse said she ate breakfast and fell back to sleep, we're going to try to wake her for lunch because they want her eating, but I'm not sure if she'll stay awake the meds she's on are so heavy and she's on 48 hour suicide watch

KingCam: Damn can we come to see her?

HairyHayes: yeah can we visit Matt? Like later obviously

LardoJJ: I'm not far from the hospital can I swing by with Assface?

AssfaceGilinsky: dude don't call me assface unless I have an ass in my face preferably a chick that's super fucking hot

FuckfaceMatty: yes you guys can come by but Lardo and Assface first. Cam and Hairy later tonight.

LardoJJ: Okay! We'll be there in 5

Matt's POV:

I put my phone down on the nightstand next to Arabella's hospital bed and leaned down, I placed a kiss on her forehead then her cheek and I softly say,

"Hey sleepy head, wake up you need to eat lunch."

She moved a little and slowly opened her eyes, looking right at me, her eyes were full of confusion at first and then they changed to something I couldn't read.

"I'm up," she says and slowly sits up.

I hit the button on her bed to raise the back up so she can be comfortable. I hand her the menu and she orders her lunch and then looks at the tv fighting to stay awake, I hit the button on her remote and her nurse comes in. I explain why I called her in and she goes to grab the doctor to give her something to make her less sleepy and groggy for now.

Her food comes after the doctor gives her some different meds to counteract the ones she had before. She becomes more alert and eats in silence, something we would have to get used to since she doesn't fully know any of us yet. After she ate, she pulled me onto the bed with her and cuddled up to me and said words I didn't think she'd say so Soon,

"I feel safe for the first time in 6 months."

I look down at her and kiss her forehead,
"You'll always be safe with us I promise no one will ever hurt you again not if we can help it."

That made her smile, and that smile was so gorgeous it made my heart race. I think I'm falling for her already.

Johnson and Gilinsky visited for a bit before leaving. They sent Hayes and Cameron when they got home. I ordered some pizza with the doctors okay for Arabella to also eat it, we found a movie, Split and watched it together, shortly after eating Arabella fell asleep in my arms, then I fell asleep holding her close like she might slip away any minute now.

I was afraid she wouldn't stay strong enough to leave here in 2 days but I also wanted to stay positive for her sake.

Two days later they finally cleared her for release and I was instructed to keep an eye on her for a while until her mild depression let up. Currently, she's asleep in my bed, and I'm relaxing with the boys. I just hope she adjusts to our lifestyle okay. A lot of cameras will be in her face when people find out she's living with us.
