3rd person POV. . . . . . .

Clarke patiently waits for Bellamy to radio while ranting her worries to Raven about how nothing is done yet and she has to go to TonDC where the 12 clan leaders are with Lexa, waiting to go to war. Raven does her best to comfort her given that things are still tense between them. Bellamy finally calls in through the radio and Clarke picks it up.
"Bellamy every three hours means every three hours, if Enyo was here would you keep her waiting? Clarke says letting her frustration reveal what she's thinking. Enyo was in TonDC with Octavia and Abraham.
"You through?" He sasses back making Raven's lips twitch at how defensive he sounds yet he doesnt deny a thing.
He tells them about their people being taken one by one and Clarke cant stand the thought of leaving for TonDC and not knowing whats happening to her people. She tells Kane to go in her place because Lexa respects him and Enyo will advise him until Clarke gets there.

"We'll finish the job tonight." They hear Cage say later through Bellamy's radio. "Whitman just radioed in. Apparently there's a war council meeting happening tonight at one of their villages and all the leaders are gonna be there."
Raven, Clarke and Bellamy suspect that Whitman is a sniper who is currently spying on TonDC. They hear Emerson confirm as much until their blood runs cold at Cages reply. "Which is why we're going to use a missle. This time we're not going to miss."

Bellamy crawls away through the vents quietly, faster when his panic sets in. "Please tell me you heard all that."
"We heard it." Clarke confirms into the radio.
"We have to warn them." Raven says to Clarke thinking of how many people would be killed, Abraham, Enyo and Octavia included.
"Did Kane take a radio?" Clarke asks her.
Raven shakes her head. "No this is the only unjamed frequency. We have to keep it open for Bellamy."
Clarke thinks of her friends that are in the village, of all those grounders. "If i leave now i can make it there in time."
"In time to be blown up you mean." Raven stresses, worried for Abraham.
Clarke asks Raven to hold the fort until she returns, wanting them to have dealt with the acid fog while she's gone. Raven nods saying they can handle it and telling Clarke to go so she knows her friends are safe.

"Clarke wait," Bellamy's voice stops her and she knows what he's going to ask. "Octavia, Enyo and Abraham were in TonDC when i left...are they umm." He trails off, voice unsteady in his worry.
"They're here. They're safe." Clarke confirms lying to him and then she adds to it, knowing he wont believe her until she says this. "Enyo is keeping the peace here in camp training them both." Because there's no way she wouldn't be talking to him unless she's busy.
Bellamy closes his eyes, breathing returning to a normal pace. "Okay. You be safe too."
"I will." Clarke replies.
Raen gives her an unimpressed look. "They're all at TonDC for the meeting. Whyd you lie?"
"Bellamy cant be distracted. It helps no one." Clarke answers truthfully. As she turns to go Raven offers a hug, surprising her but she returns it.
"Dont get blown up. " Raven offers weakly as Clarke leaves. Little did she know its not Clarke that she needs to worry about with that.

...................

"Azgeda." The Ice Nation. Indra comments feircely, as a rider from Azgeda came into the village on a hourse. The scar on his face a mark to symbolise he was from that clan. "Last time they step foot here we were at war with eachother. Now the 12 clans fight together. Remember this day, you may never see one like it again."
"Good times." Enyo sighs remembering the war all too well.
"You havent heard a word ive said." Indra states like an unimpressed mother.

"Sorry." Octavia apologises with her face still covered in cuts. "Bellamy left Lincoln in the tunnels 2 days ago and he should be back-"
"Lincoln is none of your concern." Inrda interupts with no remorse.
Octavia huffs. "Look I've done everything you've asked me to do and I'll continue to do so. But what you're asking now is impossible."
"Im not asking." Indra demands spinning around after collecting her newly sharpened sword. "We're at war and a warrior doesnt mourn those she's lost until the battle is won."
Octavia looks down, cant accept that Lincoln could be dead yet again but nods anyway doing as Indra says and turning to go stand guard with the other seconds.
"She says it like its easy." Octavia snarks to Enyo who is accompanying her on her walk to the others.
Enyo smirks but it softens when she looks at the youngest Blake. "Tavia you know our people are capable of being heartless when we need to be. But she has a point, you can't let it distract you, being distracted gets you killed."
Octavia rolls her eyes. "Saying your not worried about my brother?"
Enyo stops her with her hand to her arm. "Am i worried about your brother? Yes. Am i worried about my other brother Linc? Yes. But its out of our hands until we win this."

............

Clarke races to TonDC with her grounder guard on their horses, full speed as they approach the village. As they dismantle, Clarke sees Enyo and Octavia approaching.
"Clarkey." Enyo greets with a nod as she walks up to them and continues walking as they follow.
"You made it." Octavia says in greeting planning to ask about her brother.
"I need you to take me to Lexa." Clarke demands immediately, a strange expression.
"Whats wrong?" Enyo asks, gently grabbing her arm to stop her so she can stand in front of her to fully face her.
Clarke thinks about telling them. "Nothing." She lies carrying on with her walk to avoid their eyes.
"Is Bellamy ready? Did they get the acid fog down?" Octavia badgers her with questions from Clarke's other side.
"He's working on it." Clarke answers shortly as they take her directly to Lexa.

"Clarke of the sky people has honoured us with her presence." Lexa greets her, voice flat.
"I'm sorry I'm late commander." Clarke apologises, seeing Kane step beside Lexa followed by Abraham who goes to Enyo's side next to Octavia.
"You make good time. I assume the kids in Mount Weather are okay?" Kane smiles relieved.
Clarke nods at him. "For now." She directs her attention to Lexa. "Can we talk in private?"
Lexa agrees leading her away and Enyo frowns, normally Clarke asks her to join them. Something is clearly going on.

"A missle?" Lexa asks once they're alone in the underground meeting room. "You're sure?"
"Yes. We have to start evacuating. Now." Clarke breathes, adrenaline coursing through her.
"No." Lexa retorts, voice void of emotion.
"What do you mean no, Lexa?" Clarke demands.
"If we evacuate they'll know we have a spy inside their walls." Lexa reasons.
Clarke shakes her head vigorously. "Not necessarily."
Lexa shakes her head, turning away. "We cant risk it."
"Whats the point of having an inside man if we cant act on what he tells us?" Clarke demands, stepping toe to toe with Lexa.
Lexa looks at her. "Is the acid fog disabled? Is our sleeping army uncaged? Then Bellamy's job is not done. Without him we cant win this war." She dismisses.
"So what are you saying? We just do nothing? Let them bomb us?" Clarke asks mortified.

Lexa looks at her small designed camp on the table. "It will be a blow." She states talking about the numbers in this village. "But our army will be safe inside the woods and it will inspire them."
Clarke cant believe what she's hearing, fully understanding how ruthless Lexa is. "And what about us?"
"We slip away. Right now. Put this on." She tells Clarke, handing over a folded cloak and turns to leave the back way where nobody can see.
"Lexa wait," Clarke says stopping her. "I provoked Mount Weather, i sent a message to distract them from Bellamy." She finishes feeling guilt claw at her.
"Clarke sometimes you have to concede a battle to win a war." Lexa states sternly.
"No," Clarke denies shaking her head. "We can inform the leaders of the clans, pick a rendezvous in the woods, each of them can slip out separately. " she tries, thinking of trying anything at this point.
"And how many people will they tell? Where do we draw the line?" Lexa raises her voice in frustration.
"Well then cancel the meeting! Start a fire! Something!" Clarke attempts desperate, now.
Lexa turns toward the back exit. "Clarke we dont have time for this!"
Clarke goes after her, pulling her arm to spin her around. "No! This is wrong!"
Lexa steps toward her and Clarke steps back. "Its also our only choice and you know it. You could've warned everyone up there but you didnt. You said nothing not even to your own people. Not even to Enyo."
Clarke avoids Lexas eyes, looking down at the ground because she knows its true. Too focused on saving the people in the mountain, keeping Bellamy alive so he can get the job done and save them. Clarke remembers telling Enyo and Bellamy that she couldnt lose them both after Finn and its still true even if she's holding them at a distance. They're her best friends, the only people she trusts to be vulnerable in front of and if mount weather finds out about Bellamy then she'll lose them both, send Enyo in his replacement. Clarke knows that Enyo is suspicious so she will be on alert and she will do anything to protect her brother. She'll get herself out in time, she's smart.

"This is war Clarke, people die. You showed true strength today. Dont let emotions stop you now." Lexa reprimands at her.
Clarke closes her eyes, hears the words that aren't said. Dont let your weakness get in the way. She needs to protect her people, the only way to do that is to do this as she lets Lexas words into her head. Clarke hesitates going after her, but ultimately she does follow.

....................

Bellamy struggles through the vents, slowly shuffling so his feet are on the ladder as he moves to get on it, looking down at the never ending bottom of wherever the ladders ends.
"Talk to me. What do you see?" Raven asks through the radio, looking at her map that is drawn on her board.
"Close your eyes and imagine a bottomeless pit." Bellamy snarks voice serious enough that Raven rolls her eyes.
"Just stick with it, according to Dantes coordinates you're almost there." Raven answers entirely wrapped up in their job.
Bellamy starts climbing up the ladder. "Whats happening on your end? Did they evacuate TonDC?"
Raven remains focused on their plan when she answers."Dont know yet but its Clarke she'll get it done. Just concentrate on squeezing your ass through the vents and stop worrying about your girlfriend and sister."

Bellamy's breath hitches as he stops climbing, heart rate picking up. Raven realises she zlipped up at his silence.
"They're in TonDC? They're there? Raven." Bellamy demands voice low as sweat drips down his face from the temperature.
"They're going to be okay. Clarke fired out of here she's gonna get there on time." Raven assures him quickly.
Bellamy opens his mouth then closes it, almost snarling. "How could you keep this from me?" He asks feeling betrayed.
"Clarke was trying to protect you." Raven responds.
Bellamy scoffs, looking up at the ladder and shaking his head. She knows how imporant they are to me yet she lied. Some friend.
"Listen you still have a job to do. I know you're worried about Octavia, Enyo and Abe but you have to focus." Raven says sternly, hoping he'll listen to her.
He continues up the ladder, tamping down his worry with a sigh. "Lets just get this done."

..............

Octavia stands guard with another second, watching the woods for any spies from the mountain. The guard goes through the trees once they see someone out there close by and she waits until she follows when he doesnt answer her calls. She's surprised to see Lincoln, tying up the guard and acting like a reaper again. She pushes him away from him, pointing his own sword at him.

"You don't understand. I cant fight it." He says defeated.
Octavia knows that compared to before, he's not too far gone. And she won't lose him again, as she sheathes her sword and kneels down in front of him. "Yes you can. WE can."
"I betrayed your brother." He admits and her breath hitches. "He's a prisoner in the mountain because of me."
Octavia shakes her head. "Lincoln i dont know what happened between you two but Bellamy made it. He's fine, we've got our inside man. Now i need you to come with me."

Lincolns face crumbles as he shakes his head, choosing not to fight this. Octavia stands to her feet, enraged as she hits him across the face with all her strength. "Ge smak duan gyon op nodotaim!" Get knocked down, get back up!
"Grounders dont give up. We fight. Either you get up and we fight this or you crawl away and die alone like a coward. Its your choice." Octavia tells him attempting to keep her voice even. Lincoln looks up at her, struggling with his decision.

................

Enyo searches the building for Clarke and Lexa, confused when she can't. Clarke was acting weird earlier and Enyo wasnt going to rest until she found out what she was hiding. Footsteps echo down from the steps as her brother joins her in the empty room with Indra and Kane.
"Anything?" She asks him.
Abraham shakes his head. "Indra and Kane have searched too. Said they are going to search the woods."

Enyo nods along, looking down at her brother as his solemn expression stays on his face like it has since they left Camp Jaha. She knows what's bothering him but turns to walk towards the steps to get some fresh air.
"En?" Abraham calls quietly and she stops, turns back to look at him.
He messes with his sleaves, stands in the middle of the room aukwardly.
She smiles gently, knows what he wants to say and opens her arms for him and he runs into them. He wraps his small arms around her as best he can, grip tight as hers is when they hear a rumbling that is too strange to be thunder. It sounds louder the longer they listen.

She frowns pulling away from her brother as she slowly moves towards the entrance with Kane and Indra in front of her. Suddenly the missle meets its destination as it crashes into the village, blowing down buildings and burning bodies in its wake as the village is completely destroyed. The Woods siblings meeting their own darkness.

.........
"You knew?!" Abby asks Clarke incredulous. Laying on the ground surrounded by smoke from the village. "All those people...our people."
Clarke hears her mother's disbelief, tries to ignore the fact that people have died because of her decision. "We had to do this mom. If we evacuated then they would know about Bellamy and all our people will die."

"You crossed the line. Their blood is on your hands. And even if we win I'm afraid you wont be able to wash it off this time." Abby says lookng at Clarke like she doesn't recognise her.
It causes tears to fill Clarke's eyes as she watches her mother ignore her calls, walking towards the village. Clarke was going to find Enyo but she couldnt see her when she went back to get her mom out. She doesn't know whats happened to her.

................

Lincoln and Octavia climb up to see the village that is now a big pile of rubble, ash and fire, filled with bodies and the survivors cries. They look at it and cant even see where the circular indent ends from where the missle directly hit.
"Enyo and Abraham." Lincoln whispers in horror and Octavia feels the same panic as she searches for them with her eyes, finding no sign of them among the top of the ground.

They climb into down into the village and Lincoln panics for his best friends his family that are trapped if not among those above ground.
"They're down there!" Lincoln growls as he attempts to lift some rubble.
They find Indra first and when she stands she is shot by the mountain man, continuing to shoot down any of the remaining survivors.

...............................
Enyo stirs awake as soon as she feels something falling onto her face, the smell of ash and dirt making her cough as she squints through the darkness. What the hell happened? she thinks back to the last thing she remembers and feels her heart pound as her eyes adjust to the lack of light.
Coughing out her shout. "Abe? Abraham!"

Wiping the dirt from her face, she sits up feeling her head pound and her shoulder throb in pain. "Great!" She mumbles sarcastically. she pulls at her shoulder and biting her lip, pulls it full force until it snaps back into its socket. Letting out a groan, she cracks the crick in her neck and starts shifting as much as she could with the rubble around her trying not to panic at the small space.

"Enn?" A weak call sounds from somewhere near her and she crawls toward the sound, the rubble so low she can only crawl.
She sees his feet and wiggles herself around the large part of the ceiling that is pressing down into her brother's stomach.
"Yu ste laksen." You are hurt. She kneels on her knees, taking in his injuries; he's already lost so much blood, his clothes soaked in it and his face is so pale, breaths weak.
She feels her tears fall as she hears gunshots from above but ignores them, gaze never leaving her brother.

"Abe." She sobbs her hands shaking as she cupps his face in her hands, trying to be as gentle as she can. There's a coil of lead in her stomach as the reality of whats about to happen sinks in.
"Im sorry En." He whispers, crying himself. The more his body shakes with his sobbs the louder the squelching is as the huge rubble diggs further into his stomach at the movements. His cries become more out of pain than sadness.
"No, no, no ,no. Im not letting you die! You are not leaving me." She gasps between my sobbs, denying the obvious.

Abraham tries to take her hand but she grabs it and puts it on the ground, looking at his weakened expression. Eyes dazing in and out of focus, mouth slightly open breathing in gasps of ash filled air. Enyo stares at him, vision blurry with how much she was crying. She tried to move the rubble with all of her motherly instincts strengthening her but it was no use, the piece was apart of the ceiling that came down and only a big machine could remove it. More blood starts spreading on the ground surrounding them and Abraham reaches for her to pull her closer.

"En," he whispers, panting around his words as he struggles for breath. "Im so scared."
Enyo whimpers trying to hold in the pain and tears ripping throughout her entire soul, to remain strong for her little brother in his last moments. "I really love you...so much En." He whispers, his child sized fingers grazing her hand as she hold both of his in hers.
"I really love you too, Abe. More than you could ever know." Her voice breaks but her tone is feirce. Trying to give him some of her strength he matches the tight grip of her hand.

He smiles but then winces and she cant watch him go through this, he's her brother, her life, the partner in crime that only siblings can understand the immortal bond between them. He's a big piece of her heart, the part that reacts protectively when others had hurt him, teased him, only she was allowed to do that. The part that felt gooey and warm when he smiles brightly at her as if she's his everything. That part that cant be explained to others, they just have to have a sibling to know. And right now Enyo doesnt wish this on anyone.

He coughs and his spit is now blood, and Enyo wipes it away before he can see it. He already knows he cant be saved by his accepting smile and dull eyes. She shakes her head, she feels just the beginning of the pain that is tearing her heart into pieces but she doesn't want to feel the rest that comes with it.
"Abe please dont leave me. Please." She begs putting her forhead on top of his, knowing he doesn't have a choice in this.
He sniffes, his nose runny as he feels the pull to close his eyes, the tiredness working its way through his body. He slowly pulls his dagger from his pocket, biting his lip so he wont cry out and holds it up to her so she pulls away.
"Take it, queenie. And remember me but...dont blame yourself for this. Please cause i know you will." He gasps out trying to sound stern.
She sniffs, taking the blade from him with a heavy heart and nods vehemently. "I promise. I will never forget you Abe, never."

"Good." Abraham whispers. He plows on with all the limited energy he has left. "Queenie tell Lincoln that i love him too, he's the best big brother i had. Tell Raven that she's amazing and even though she said i was too young for her when i admitted i liked her, tell her she deserves a person who would wait for her. Tell Tavia thanks for making me braver and daring me to admit how i feel...tell Miller and Harper that they were my best friends. Tell all of them that make it that im so glad they accepted me as apart of their dysfunctional family..." he trails off and she thinks thats it. Thats all he has left to say.

But he has so much more to say to her, his big sister that looks like her life is the one thats ending. He feels the guilt that he's the one thats leaving her to deal with life alone, that he will cause her such heartache. Abraham wants to live, if not for anyone else or himself then for her. He needs to tell her why he calls her queenie, how she needs to become a btter version of her younger self to become who he knows she can be. Who him and Lincoln can see her one day becoming but dont want to say anything to spook her. He remembers the good memories he has, every one of them containing his big protective sister. He doesn't know where to start though, he wants Enyo to be who she truly is but wants her to realise it herself. Doesnt want her to do it all for him.

But then he offers his smile and opens his eyes blinking slowly as his breathing slows to an alarming rate. "Tell Bellamy that he's the kind of man i wanted to become, strong on the outside, a big softie inside."
She smiles brokenly through her tears. "You are amazing just by yourself."
He smiles faintly back at her, knowing he doesnt want to say goodbye just yet but his body is too tired to fight. "Death is not the end of my story. I believe in you, En. I'll follow you from the ashes. Hodnes laik uf." Love is strength. He confims as strong as he can.

Its obvious he wants to say something else, say more but his voice trails off as his head slumps to one side, eyes open as his breathing completely stops. Enyo's eyes dart back and forth and she feels more tears fill her eyes. "Abe? Abe no! No please no! Dont do this! Dont you leave me! Abe!" She cries her hands shaking him and tring to resuscitate him the way Clarke had saved Lincoln. She didnt stop brokenly calling for him, calling his name, for him to wake up, begging him to stay with her. But he never woke up, eyes still open unmoving and filled with death instead of the good that was once there.
"Em blouplei ste hod op!" He's not breathing! She hyperventilates to no one but herself.

Enyo screams at the top of her lungs, wailing and crying into the cramped darkness as she mourns her dead baby brother. Not even age 11 and already meeting his death when he was the one person she was supposed to protect. The most important person in her entire world. The part of her heart solely claimed by her brother breaks and vanishes and she feels the gap as if its a lung being removed. She screams and cries until her throat is hoarse, until she rests her head against her dead brother's motionless body and sobbs into him loudly. Not even looking up when the rubble is moved away and light shines in from where she was layed earlier, uncaring to the fact that she had been saved.
